I just found out the Neken N6 spec are great
I was interested by the wiko cink five but now I hesitate
is there any way to root the neken N6?
does it have gapp on it (or a way to put it)
ultimatly is there custom rom available? not really required since it already have 4.2 but who knows could be usefull

the only big downside it doesn't work with my phone provider koodo in theory it should work on the wcdma 850 band

Yeah, didn't check the time of your post. Can't find any good info how to root. Looks like I'm the only one with the phone like this

else google: mtk6589t root, since that cpu have alot of phone model made the way to root is pretty much the same
Use Eroot! Its a chinese tool, just google it. It worked for my N6!

I rooted the phone with a chinese "one click root" prg called vroot. I tried lots of other programs and none of them worked. The vroot did it!

Can anyone help me root Karbonn A18. From what I have gathered in searching around is that Karbonn is marketing phones from China and some of these phones have already been rooted elsewhere. If we are able to find the original phone then it would be simple to root as the same root procedure shall apply for this phone too.

got the phone yesterday... i can confirm that this phone is pre-rooted...
i used root checker it says phone has no root access.
u need to confirm whether root access is enabled in developer options... select it to root+adb... then install superuser from play store and then check again...

It's nice phone.. Used it no problem at all.. Prerooted just install superuser or supersu.. Bett backup is not so good but if u have auto killer app or like this than provide more by killing background process... Touch is very responsive never find a problem.. Camera quality is also very good.. All apps r available in play store. Even large games which I thinks that's not the played plays smoothly like all glu game..I played 600 mb game with smoothness... So it's a nice budget phone... Custom ROM also available so u can relax and do anything...

Also, what do you see when you run Hardware Info (or other hardware apps)? I was told it's a 1.5GHz CPU, but mine reports 1GHz. SetCPU (and similar apps) show 1GHz is the max as well so I can't really overclock it...

I have just started making a rom for this tablet. Its going to be based on the stock rom, with all the crapware and bloat removed. And tweek it etc... just need a name I was thinking superfly? Not sure if used

Help needed from an old post
Hi all,
I've recently bought a Flytouch 8 for my young daughter, but the tablet seems to be stuck loading. It loads upto the android screen and seems to loop. I've tried to press and hold "power and menu" to no avail. I've even tried other buttons in the hope it'll work but still nothing.
I'm guessing that I need to reinstall the firmware but I have no idea how. Any help you could give would be appreciated!

The app is called tv overal. I really like the app and I use it a lot. But now with the latest update the have implanted a sort of root detection. And now i can't see live tv anymore. . I've read about a topic here on xda with google videos. They made a special apk for it. Can someone please do something like that for this app? I really like to use it , but i want to keep root.

There is an app that allows you to deactivate root for a certain time if I remember well, whereas can't remember the name of it at the moment.

Do you mean ota root keeper ? Because that does not work. Even after a reboot.

Can someone confirm this adapted version still works with a rooted phone ? I need at least to be able to record programs in the TV guide, as I use this a lot. This is the only thing preventing me from rooting my phone (SGS 4)

I'm still using the app now. It works on my galaxy s4 but you can't load the tv guide. Watching tv works. You can record a program if you are watching the program and you push record now.

So you can not program any future programs ? Too bad...
No sadly it says tv overall has stoped. It would be needs if someone find a solution for that. Because I want to use it to.

I've tested it out on different versions. It's always the same problem. You can see tv but you can't go to the tv guide. It's loading and than it says application has stoped. What i do now is using an older version. Version 2.6.1. With this version you can see the tv guide and record programs on your decoder.
With the newest version the xprivacy is not working. You still have the rooting message. I think you have something in the tv guide when you open it , that it also checks root. I really hope that someone can find a good solution for this problem.

Xposed Installer with module Rootcloak works also. First you have to add the TV overal application in the rootcloak list.
Tsested on SGS4 with Omega Rom.

I found a big problem ... the phone starts up, I can hear the sounds but not display anything, the display lights up but remains black. I tried to flash different rom, but the result does not change.

I have the same problem after flashing the Efox E4 with a custom rom. I tried the original rom as well and I got the same problem!! Please help!

Wrong or missing LCD driver, i guess. Re-try replacing boot.img and/or uboot.img from your stock recovery or backup.

There are two versions of the efox e4. The ROMs you find on the NET are for the first one and you, like me, must have the second. I've copied the ROM from another phone and flashed it on mine.
I've been thinking of posting it on needrom, but haven't done it yet.

Ok so i got an "Allview E4" not the lite version. It's not a chinese fake or knockoff. It's just made in china it works really well, etc... Well, i can't root it.. There is no way to root it, impossible, No "One-click root" softwares/apks work, and also the fact that it has no "install" in the recovery menu isn't helping, oh and it's in chinese as well

For me it worked at first with kingroot.
Then I found boot.img on needrom, and patched it with magisk (via adb/fastboot), and now I have magisk root
