[Q] Lost Recovery - HTC One X+

HI,
When i installed Akop rom using TWRP recovery something goes wrong and Phone is not Booting.
But when i tried to recover by TWRP recovery i noticed that all internal storage has been formated.
So i have the copy of the backup in my computer and i have one custom rom also.
But is there any way to copy these things into the Phone from the command line ???
Please Help !!

You could try to flash a Rom from your computer via adb sideload

Thanks for your reply.
You have stock ROM of HTC ONE X + ?
I lost my back up that's y..
So while flashing ,
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik-Cache
Wipe Data/factory reset
And then i can install the rom right ?
Is it required to flash boot.img

Yes manually flash the boot.img of the Rom.
Then it will boot up.

[Q] HELP! i cant flash any rom

i was trying to flash a new rom today and instead of 4ext (which i always used) there was an unfamiliar (to me) bootloader...it was called TWRP. Although iwas unfamiliar with this (and unknown to how that was being used instead of 4ext) i tryed flashing a new rom and it it kept getting stuck on the HTC boot screen. At some points, the rom didnt even install, but instead failed. i tryed several different roms but non work...PLEASE HELP!!!
You need to either flash the kernel (easy kernel flasher) or flash 4ext through ADB and turn on smart flash and refash a rom. I assume your s-on, of not you just had a bad zip.

If you have 4EXT recovery then:
1. Format your microSD first (If it may be formatted in Recovery - it's fine)
2. Put this ROM http://download2.clockworkmod.com/developer/2184/2115/ruby_unsigned_021812_031444.zip on your External SD.
3. wipe | format >> wipe data / factory reset
4. wipe | format >> format system
5. wipe | format >> wipe cash + dalvik
6. install from sdcard >> choose zip from sdcard >> Aforementioned ROM zip
Hope this works..

So i wiped data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, format /system.. and now when i reboot, i'm stuck on the samsung galaxy tab 10.1 boot.. did i bricked my device? I want to flash the rom but i cant get my pc to recognize my device as i have not get past the boot screen :crying: so i cant put the rom in the device and flash the rom from clockwork recovery..... :crying:
Of course its stuck. You wiped everything but did not flash the ROM. *facepalm* Either find a way to sideload the ROM to your tab through adb or reflash to stock using Odin.

Which recovery are you running? TWRP or CWM? Sounds like a very corrupt backup or a botched restore. Can you enable mass storage in recovery for PC to move files to phone SD? If so, try flashing a stock Rom from development section.

Flash TWRP in fastboot, then sideload a stock sense Rom.

Is CWM Full Wipe possible on xperia devices?

Does a full wipe in CWM Recovery not work on the z2 since the kernel and recovery are together? Like in storage if you wipe /system and /data to fully wipe the phone and then install fresh. Would this just kick you out of recovery, making you have to flash the recovery using fastboot again?
Or does the recovery stay in the memory until a reboot? So that you can install a kernel with recovery again before rebooting?
It works fine

Full wipe won't harm recovery.
You could always make flashable recovery and flash after wipe (before restarting, of course) just to be sure...

I don't think the kernel and recovery are together as such

On most of the sony devices i have played with the recovery is in the Ramdisk ( in the boot.img ) or it can be stored in the FOTA Partition and called upon by the kernel / ramdisk at boot.
a full wipe wont touch either of these.
pvy.
Ok thank you for explaining.
On all of the Android devices if had a full wipe has never wiped recovery.

Early xperias with locked bootloaders and root exploits had recovery in system partition.
