Two roms tried...

And both are getting stuck at the boot logo screen.
I was running liquid ics for a while, did a reset and deleted all data which put me back to stock GB, tried that for a day, then tried to reinstall liquid ics and got stuck on the boot logo. I also tried twisted umbrellas latest and I'm having the same problem
I have tries flashing both multiple times and battery pulls. Any ideas guys?

Have you tried to wipe everything but SD card? .. (if you on 4ext recovery its easy). Then go to tools and wipe 3ext system and data. Then flash the roms.

I did wipe all data factory reset and then was on stock GB again. I tried to install another rom and got stuck on the boot logo.

You need to wipe cache and dalvik cache as well. That will boot loop you every time.

After it boot looped a couple of times I deleted both of those and it still Was a no go.

2 wipe dalvek cache
3 format system.
Oops.

Did your ROM require a custom boot image? Maybe you have to flash it too...just saying.

Rooted but stuck on custom recovery boot animation.

Hi,
so today i finally got able to install cwm recovery and the superuser zip on my amaze.
After that i rebooted the phone and installed the cm10 (the one for the amaze) and the gapps.
But when i reboot im stuck on the boot animation and if i go back in recovery and factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache i doesnt bring me back the my stock sense rom and still the cm10 boot animation appear and still im stick there.
What should i do now?
Thanks.
Are you SOFF?

Are you SOFF? I would guess no. Of you don't have SOFF then flash 4ext recovery. And have smart flash enabled

I guess im not soff. i dont know to be honest.
So now i will have to flash 4ext recovery , in fastboot?
If so will it replace cwm recovery?
Now i flashed 4ext recovery via fastboot and now i cant pass the htc logo boot, and cant get in recovery neither i can access my phone
You have tried going in through the bootloader mode. Pull batt vol down and pwr at the same time

Guys i tried about everything that i could think of, i flashed 4ext recovery, after that it was getting stuck on the htc logo, so i reflashed cwm recovery and still i cant pass the cm10 boot animation,,i tried to factory reset, wipe cache wipe dalvik cache.
I think im stuck with a bricked phone and im on a contract , 2 years left,,it sucks a lot.
All i can do now is boot the phone in bootloader and recovery.
If you kept getting stuck at the HTC logo it meant that it was a bad recovery flash. Make sure you have a good version of the 4ext recovery.
CWM won't flash roms without S-OFF because it can't flash the boot.img (or was it the /boot partition can't remember) so flash a good 4ext

To go back to stock, you have to restore a stock backup you made or flash a stock ruu via bootloader, wipe and reflash cm, it's gonna reboot once if you're not s-off in order to flash the kernel via smartflash.

[Q] Lost Recovery

HI,
When i installed Akop rom using TWRP recovery something goes wrong and Phone is not Booting.
But when i tried to recover by TWRP recovery i noticed that all internal storage has been formated.
So i have the copy of the backup in my computer and i have one custom rom also.
But is there any way to copy these things into the Phone from the command line ???
Please Help !!
You could try to flash a Rom from your computer via adb sideload

Thanks for your reply.
You have stock ROM of HTC ONE X + ?
I lost my back up that's y..
So while flashing ,
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik-Cache
Wipe Data/factory reset
And then i can install the rom right ?
Is it required to flash boot.img

Yes manually flash the boot.img of the Rom.
Then it will boot up.

Stuck at Bootloop, fastboot working though.

hello,
ive recently flashed stock recovery and stock rom (i was using twrp and cm13). everything went fine, the phone did boot and everything worked, except factory reset.
whenever i chose to reset to factory settings, the phone did reboot into recovery mode with error flash system again. thats what i did.
but now it wont start again, its stuck at the huawei logo.
ive downloaded b121, b330 and b370. flashed boot, system, recovery, cust, cache but its all the same.
does anyone have a idea?
btw, whats with "RECOVERY2.IMG' do i have to flash this one too? (ive tried with and without it, but no difference either)
thanks in advance
Can you boot up to recovery??

ive tried this order: boot, system, recovery.img, cust, cache, userdata
boot, system, recovery.img, recovery2.img, cust, cache, userdata
and finally: boot,system,recovery2.img, cust, cache, userdata
but neither did work. right now ive flashed back to twrp and created a flashable zip file (stock rom) with multi tool and see how that goes.
stock rom is running fine now. how do i go back to stock recovery from here on?
Just flash it.
Sent from my PLK-L01 using Tapatalk
so fastboot flash recovery RECOVERY.IMG , nothing else?
Just that. But with no stock updates who need the stock recovery
