So my device is kinda bricked, i cant enable USB debugging from the settings meny and need to flash a stock ROM via ODIN.
Will it work in download mode even though USB debugging isnt activated and if not how do i proceed?
You don't need to enable USB debugging when using download mode.

hi all,
I'm after the flash driver for i9100 for use with odin and other flash programs.
At the momment it comes up as unknown device, when in download mode.
I've checked all over google and current download says over 12hrs so if anyone knows a quick link please help.
Download Kies. It'll install the drivers needed.

tried that, when it's in normal mode it gets reconised but as soon as i put it in download mode / flash mode, it says device unknown
Connect phone to KIES let KIES find phone .
Turn off phone and PC
Reboot and put phone in USB mass storage mode and connect with USB cable let PC find and install drivers .
Flashing turn KIES OFF
Open ODIN load required file in correct section
Put phone to download mode and read the instructions on the first download window .
Connect Samsung USB cable to a mainboard USB port .
You should now have yellow block showing in ODIN .

yes! as already said by @ boomboomer, usb debugging is not required for odin! just flash a stock f/w via odin and then factory reset from recovery.
Access to download and recovery mode?
that is far away from brick..
dozens of ways to bring it back...

If you are trying to restore your phone via Odin, there would be no need to enable USB Debugging.

I know it says under: IMPORTANT to enable USB Debugging. They're wrong. USB Debugging / adb commands do not work in the mode you need the phone to be in to restore it anyway, so can't even imagine the point of adding that, especially under the important heading.
Premium account
But there you have to buy premium account to download firmware

You'll have to join (it's free), and the free download links aren't the fastest, but has everything you need and is legit.
