As soon as I flashed cm10.1 on my p769 and plugged the phone into my computer, I realized the internal storage is nowhere to be seen. Only the 16 gb SD card shows up. Also in my phone in Root Explorer, I try to find the internal storage but I still can't see it, as the directory /storage only give me a folder titled /sdcard0, which is actually my SD card In the storage settings my phone shows that it is using the internal storage for apps and whatnot. Thanks

I had to laugh hard first but I guess he meant the CM thread. AntonX "fixed" a bug and now only the external sdcard is usable what do you need it for?

Listen to deez. If you use AOKP or AOSP, you need to format your sd card to fat32.

To format a card or external drive to Fat32, using Windows, just follow the link and click on the picture to download!! So easy a caveman could do it!

Hi everybody!
I flashed CyanogenMod 10.1... It's a very nice ROM, but I have a big problem!
YES, I formatted my external SDcard to fat32!
When I want to go on my external SD storage, I must go to /storage/sdcard1 or something like that, and if I want to go to my internal storage, I must go to /.../legacy...
On Stock, there was it very easy; there were two options: sdcard0 and extSdCard....
Is this issue/bug fixable?
Oh yes, and I want to save my pictures and downloads on externalsd....
Has anyone an idea? )
Greetings...

It's not an issue. Partitions has been changed in CM and that's why now they're called differently....

Just FYI: this has nothing to do with CM 10.1 or stock.
This is related to Android 4.2.X vs. 4.1.X.
4.2.X supports multiuser, and that functionality requires this new way of structuring sdcard.
CM 10.1 is based on 4.2.2, so you end up with the new structure.
But also stock XXUFMB3 does the same.
It used to bother me at the beginning, but I got used to it.
If you do not like the new path, you can also point your applications to /data/media and you end up in your internal sdcard.
okay so i seem to be missing a few gb's on my s4 for what ever reason 16gb total 223mb in apps,68.00kb pictures,156kb audio,8kbdowloads,6.46gb in miscell, and 2.29gb free SO all that together is more or less 9gb total where in hell are my other 8gb guys.. help would be much appreciated.

If you have a nandroid backup or have backed up your apps using titanium, that would account for the space.

+1. Completely clean you'll only have about 9 Gb. The rest is used by android.

Using the app "Clean Master" I've noticed that I've lost almost 2GB of internal memory to the gallery thumbnail folder. If I remember correctly there's a way to rename the folder so it won't store the thumbnails. Gonna research it and see what I can come up with to regain that space.

well i only deleted the ones that had to do with the backup in the clockwordmod folder worked out perfectly but i cant speak for the rest id say copy those files you plan to delete onto the external sd card and then delete and reboot if you see any issues just copy paste them back and do another reboot. better safe then sorry
The only problem i have with deleting the backup i have in the mnt/shell/emulator/clockwordmod/backup folder is that it will also delete any nandroid i have.. but i did acquire 3+ gigs after doing so giving me 7.51 gigs of free space. The downside is w/o a nandroid, if something happens to my phone i'm screwed... Hahaha... Well the extra space looked cool while it lasted... Thanks
