Hi all, I just returned back to stock on my one from the gpe edition. The problem is that it still shows Google before showing the T-Mobile animation instead of the HTC quietly brilliant. It's not a big deal but I would still like some help in getting it back to stock. Thanks in advance

I flashed my HD2 a few times to try to get a ROM that was flawless, but that unfortunately didn't happen. All of the ones I tried were really slow and now I'm thinking it might just be the phone I need to replace. Maybe I got a bad unit.
Anyway, when I went to go to send it in I realized that there were custom boot screens from the ROMs I installed, however I got rid of them all except for ONE SCREEN that appears when the phone boots to the screen that shows you all of the ROM information (The three lines that start with R in the first line, G in the second line and D in the third line) where it's the LEODragon ROM wallpaper from a prior ROM I had and I can't get it to disappear no matter what I do! HELP!

those numbers remain there ! and they were there since the beginning u got ur phone ! so dont worry ! just give it for service! everyone has those numbers from the day 1 !
you mean the second, non standard splash screen, before the animation, see the watermarking your leo link in my sig for more info
i did exactly the same, you need to make asecondary splash identical to the first, so it all looks like one splash.

i currently have a htc hd2 umm its the one with all white buttons.
ive joined the board for a while now and have been learning alot of new things with flashing new roms and stuff
mainly the engery one.
and everythign been very good until today.
ive just wanted to do that mtty29doloop thingo and when my phone goes into boot loader
i somehwo noticed somethigns different.
my phone model doesnt show. instead have some werid chararcters
and when i try to do the usual thing, it says bad model id?

Sorry, I couldn't find a forum for the Evo Design 4g. Anyways, I have the HTC evo design from boost mobile running on stock ICS 4.0.3. My phone isn't rooted. Today I was downloading the newest update to google chrome from the play store, and while it was installing my phone suddenly restarted and now it is stuck on bootload. I tried making a factory reset, but it doesn't even get through that because it stays frozen on the screen with 3 androids. Well I'm a COMPLETE noob when it comes to installing ROM's and all these things and I have no idea what to do. I am being charged a good amount of money to fix this problem or get a replacement. I tried looking into the problem and I heard something about an img? I don't even know what that is.. Please help. I don't want to waste anymore money on this phone

I just bought a new Mega 6.3 after dropping my old one and breaking it beyond a feasible repair cost. But even though it's SIM unlocked, it came with a nasty ugly splash screen of a stupid carrier instead of the simple one that should be the simple black background with white letters that says "Samsung Galaxy Mega i9205" like I had before (.. just to be clear, I'm talking about the screen that immediately comes up when the phone is turned on, before the boot-up animation).
This splash screen NOT in the ROM itself (that I already flashed into a custom one and the splash screen remained). This needs be flashed separately. Anyone knows how to flash this screen to get rid of it or replace it with the Samsung stock one or something else? Thanks much

It's not, nothing to do with kernel. I flashed a custom kernel on my Mega, on top of a custom ROM and didn't affect the splash screen.. in fact I think maybe part of the bootloader..
That is odd... Was the custom kernel a modified stock kernel?

Yes, over clocking Kernel for the Mega running 4.2.2.. has nothing to do with the kernel..

havent been able to power down phone
best case senario I just want a stock phone
However Im looking for the easiest way to have my phone operational sadly looking for each fix brings up more issues i cant do anything about
