[Q] CAMERA of galaxy s2 showing spots in every picture taken - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
Recently my camera is kind of showing several spots in every picture that i am taking. I am attaching a snapshot of the picture taken from my phone.
So i would like anybody to help me out through this problem asap.
Sorry guys could not upload the picture there is some issues with the website attachment systems.
Thanks

Me too.

Could be screen burn or dirt behind the cover on the lens. Have you taken apart to clean and see? Have you taken picture in direct sunlight?

[Q] Camera pink spot in centre of image

Anyone noticed that there camera seems to be producing images with a large pink spot in the center? See attached photo.
Hi
I have noticed the same pink spot when using the camera when taking pictures on standard. It is the similar problem to HD2. Could you please let me know what is your firmware version ? (GINGERBREAD.XWKDD).
GINGERBREAD.XWKDD
Is the pink spot as severe on your device, I've seen it on other handsets but know where near this bad.
I think there was another similar thread. Check this thread - showthread.php?t=1064665

Rear Camera Problems Green Picture.

So I noticed I received the firmware update to the camera earlier today, and also of course came the ICS update. Anyways, I started trying out the rear facing camera, it looks fine but when I go to take a picture, the picture saves as just the color green. Its as if you use ms paint and just color the whole screen green. There's no traces of the actual picture. Its just a green screen basically.
The camera was definitely working fine yesterday. Does anyone have an idea of whats going on. I also tried it with Camera ZOOM FX, it does the same thing. Front camera is fine as so is Video.
Was your issue look similar to this pic.

If so then you are not alone. It seem that we are in the same boat. Here is the link the post started by another member.

thanks its very similar. my view finder is fine. its after the picture is taken. I get a pure green screen saved. hope it was the update that messed it up and not hardware. waiting for an ASUS response.

[Q] ICS AOSP camera time delta between review and saved picture

I've seen this issue on two ROMs now where I take a picture and rather than ending up with the sharp review picture shown on the screen right after, I end up with a blurry image that was taken about 1/4 second later. I've seen this running both Euphoria and Slim. I'm wondering if it's a known issue that I haven't been able to find info on (I've searched but most people just seem to care about FFC) or if somehow I'm causing this.
If you aren't sure if you're seeing this but have a moment to experiment, try the following:
1) Get your significant other, family member or friend to stand in a brightly lit room.
2) While you're aiming your camera at them have them start turning in a circle. Doesn't have to be fast but shouldn't be really slow either.
3) Take their picture and remember the position they were in when the review still was displayed after the picture was taken.
Now compare your memory of what the camera showed to you with the result in the gallery.
I consistently see that the picture that was stored was taken about 1/4 second after the review I saw after taking the picture. It's also usually less sharp.

btw, the problem can also be shown by just panning the phone and taking a picture during the pan. If you end up with something recognizable in the review image you may find that the final image doesn't match.
Hmmm.. all seems well in ICZenwich
Hmm. Wish I had the luxury of installing ICZ just to find out if that camera doesn't have the problem or if this is a problem with my phone somehow, or how I'm restoring apps badly. I'm otherwise happy with Slim so I'm reluctant to install a new ROM since I just put this one on a couple of days ago.
If nobody else chimes in I'll try ICZ this weekend.

Here some sample of picture I took with ICZenwich, Just basic setting.
mostdef, I think you've misunderstood the problem. None of those images show motion. With the subject standing still you'd never see the problem I'm describing. It's when the subjects are in motion or the camera is in motion (panning) that you may see the issue.
I've also seen it on Slim and Zen.
Looks like the actual picture is taken a sec after the camera display actually clicks and show you the preview. The trick is to remain still after the camera says its taken the picture. You get a picture that is a sec after the phone assume you take it. However, if you move the phone right after the camera clicks, then the picture is ruined. Same thing as if you take a picture as your arm is moving.

I'm glad it's not just me or my phone but that's messed up.
The biggest issue is that the review picture the camera shows is not what you end up with. There's no point in having the review image show up after a picture is taken if it's going to be wrong.
It doesn't matter how still you hold the camera if what you're taking the picture of is in motion.
I can't believe more people aren't talking about this

Are you talking about moving the camera around that look like it jerky on motion or are you talking about moving object?

Did you try another camera application? My friend has a One M7 and thanks to the Ultra Pixel crap after some time his photos got wrong colours. He sent it to the repair service.

I did. Still get the same results
Same issue here, I thought it was just me.
So as crazy as it sounds I had some luck getting better photos by cleaning the lens with tooth paste. It buffed out some scuffs and things. Not a complete fix but it helped. First pic focus outside Second pic focus insinde

Sony Z2 Camera problem

I know this phone has a lot of issues with overheating, especially while using the camera, but recently I bought this phone and it came with a very strange camera problem. I must say first that the phone isn't new it's already used but neverthelss I didnt expcet everything to be working flawless but this thing kind annoys me.
This is the problem that I am facing with watch?v=ANLkCRZ-M-g ( just paste this after youtube com because I am not allowed to post links )
Is is possible to be a software problem or just a camera sensor is not working properly ? Device is running on Marshmellow 6.0.1.
Thanks in advance. Help would be appreciated.
Hello, try to look into your camera glass lens, is it clear?? or you can see some scratches with random colors?
The video shows a kind of glare.
Is it the same in the dark or just in the daylight?
it would be better if you can post here some close photos of the camera lenses.
No matter what, light or dark, pic and video always have the same glare of light which sometimes change colour into pink or lightblue like the one shown in the video . No scratches found on the lens.
Here are the pics, just as above first type imageshack com and then the rest.

If the phone back cover and the camera lens are clear as you said and properly sealed than it is a hardware problem probably. camera could be replaced and it is not very expensive.
