i am be crazy and can not sleep last few days. pls someone good description and help me
my friend given to me htc legend for find to her forget gmail password i think read forums and - V and push start button goto boot menu and click something but i dont remember clearly. after than phone is be black screen.
when i click power button have opening sound and vibration. but screen is never come only black and nothing. screen is not work now
and never ever htc sync can not see on usb
i upload RUU_Legend_HTC can contact on see usb
but still same problem no have any screen and picture
now i do V- and power button also not work !!
also crackin (hack4legend-v5) sdk platform also can not find on usb
i hope someone know this problem and simple explain step by step coz i am not professional user
now i am shame to my friend so much. i wish can fix back

I have two problems, I had three but i searched the forum and found one the other two i can not find.
1. Sometimes my touch pro when i press the power button to lock it the four buttons on on the bottom stay on and will not turn thier backlight off. the only way to fix it now is to reset it it when it starts up. any cures?
2. I dont use any roms i just use the sprint tf that it comes with and when i use the music player on there i would like to be able to lock it turning off the screen to save battery and continue to play music. problem is when you lock it it stops the music for you. maybe a registry edit to fix?

1 - Not sure.
2 - Go to my faq (link in signature)
Scroll down till you find a cab that says keep music playing.
Install it and you're good to go.
(reg location available for those who want to do it manually)
Also, if you want to use anything else in the faq,
in post one, there's a link that shows what's vga compatible.
Make sure you read that before installing anything else.

2. if you just launch wmp instead you can turn off the screen.. but aboves cab sounds more like youd want so you can still use TF

#1. my VZN TP does this every once and a while but all i have to do is turn the screen back on and press the end key and hit the power button again and it is gone. that works 95% of the time give or take.

I've a big problem in my jasjam..
the 4 directions buttons and the choose button the OK buton and the START button aren't working
AS SHOW IN ATTACHMENT
but the rest ( Call,End,Choose 1,Choose2 ) working
and the buttons that sren'r working sometimes the right or the left direction works automatically Repeatedly goes right or left or up Repeatedly and rapidly .I was removed all screws and opened it to clean it . I cleaned it but still the same prob. somone told me that shield may be the main prob. but the touch screen works and everything everything except those buttons what can I do ?

Mate, just because we look doesn't mean we can help. I'm not going to suggest anything that may break your Hermes. For instance, I know hitting the Hermes with a brick repeatedly will make the problem go away simply because you'll need to replace the phone.
Technically your problem has now been answered, but I know I wouldn't be follow those instructions....

I have some strange Problems..
First of all i used Mdeejay eVo Sense v. 2.3 with Hastarin 8.1 Kernel.
Today I used the MobilePhone for writing little SMS to my girlfriend and have the problem that I couldn´t use the Keypad...
If I pushed on of the five keypads the MobilePhone reacts difficult.. I could´t push and hold the PowerButton, its only shutdown display so I couldn´t do a reboot in android itself..
if i pushed the Home or PhoneButton the Screen comes up which shows me the last used Android-Apps..
And finally if i pushed the Volume-Keys it doesn´t react.. only volume UP worked..the oposite doesn´t react..
Now I thougt about Android and that there could be a little Bug or something else.. I finally reboot back to Windows Mobile with the little Red Button behind the Phone..
But now the Same strange Problem.. If I used the Keys the Volume-Down automaticly appears.. I couldn´t do something..
If I pushed the Volume-Key Down the background-light of keypad comes up shortly..like little lightshowing.. If I pushed another Key the keypad light doesn´t come up..
I hope this BUG comes from something like failed configuration of Microp of Android.. I hope it wouldn´t be some Hardwarefault because that would be really bad..

Just do a Hard Reset and it should be fixed.

I done this but the Same Stange Problems..I personally think that could be only Hardwarefault!!
I done first of all only hardreset but after its the same i reflash with original shipped T-Mobile ROM over the SD Card..
Does anybody know something about these strange Problem?

Edit: I have two accounts so i have subscribed from my other Account.. the Person xlanhackerx and me are the Same!!!
When you goto the about phone section under settings or even an email app or anything for that matter, then press the home button once, is there a slight(mili second or so) delay in exiting the menu or is it just mine? iv never noticed this before until i dropped my phone today on carpet, i hope this is normal and my phone aint broken
can someone please check for me... it will be much appreciated, thanks

im quite a beginner considering anything about configurating my smartphone... Yesterday i did watch a video with the youtube app and then my display suddenly froze and became black. Since then everytime I push the power button the screens keeps black but you can notice that its getting a little bit brighter. So it's basicly still active but I dont know how to fix the problem. the only thing I tried so far is to reboot (10s power button + volume up) but it didnt change anything. When i plug it onto my pc it gets recognized instantly.
Could anyone of you tell me how to fix my problem?
