I think this is the stock google "NEXUS" bootanimation used in NEXUS phones. The Google Play Edition Phones use different bootanimations (including the S4 - take a look here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8So3yeTnC0w), cause they are not pure "NEXUS" devices. I mean those bootanimations look like this: http://alpha-techs.co.uk/files/matt/bootanimations/GooglePlayEdition/GPE.gif don't they?

Ok this is not my creation full credit to Virtualsk the one who created the APK
I however had tested it and it works...on the P7510 ..
You have to be rooted i believe..
and after installing you just install the the fonts through the settings
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1310044
It seems no changes from default, isnt it?
It is only a tiny bit different from the default SGT font, still different though.
Waste of time imo

Not sure if I'm using the same Roboto as you guys (installed from Font Installer Root) but the whole font is different...
roboto font totally different from galaxy default
Apk doesnt seem to work. I extracted the roboto.ttf file from the apk qnd installed the font using font changer app(root needed), and the result is a totally different font. Not sure if I will keep it, but definately worth trying out.

I tried out this method and now I can see the difference! At first I thought nothing happened but after I got up this morning I can really see the difference in the font. Looks great!

Roaming around other forums, it seems there are quite a few roboto fonts going around. This one I got from the nexus one forum, and seems slightly different from the op one here, at least it has separate ttfs for sans and sans-bold. I'm uping the original zip file for N1, and to use them on the SGT10.1 it probably better to extract then rename the ttf files(currently they are named so as to replace default droid font). I find myself preferring these, but regardless have fun with them.

I have no idea, mate. I'm totally ignorant about how cwm zip files are compiled and woukd not know if a flashable zip made for nexus one running gingerbread would work on a galaxy tab running honeycomb touxhwized. So I just extracted the font files ........

Too bad to see that now almost every pre-installed app went proprietary.
Somebody should take the AOSP apps and make them as good as Google's one's to keep Android really open.

They are slowly doing this with all of the apps so they gain control again. Open everything up and give it away for free to get market share then close down the apps again to try and keep it.

And exactly there is the problem!
Do we want Google to have control?
The quality of Android lies in it's openness.
If all system apps are controlled by Google custom ROMs cannot customize and extend them anymore. Exactly the customizability we all love is what we will lose this way.
Too bad I can't code Android apps myself
I guess that leaves ubuntu touch in the spring.
sent while running with scissors
Interesting to see they went back to having camera and gallery as separate apps.

The bootanimation.zip file, of course, so you know what you're downloading is not corrupt.

Hey guys! So Android L is obviously already upon us and those with Nexus devices and developer phone - or even phones with unlocked bootloaders , are the only ones getting to really experience the sweet goodness that is Android L. ..But, this is also Android. If we want it, we get it. So here's a quick video on how you can make your device look just a little bit more like Android L.
This is for any phone, really. Not sure if there's a better place to put this. But since it's on my G3, I chose here.

Wdup Ben...have you found a way to use the double tap on/off gestures with nova? That's the only thing that's been keeping me from using it....used to be my go to launcher.

Screen off and lock app in the play store. Than go to Nova Settings/Gesture's and Buttons/double tap than enable screen off and lock.
Tap statues bar. No extra apps or settings required.

No offense and not discrediting op of anything or any discouragements meant but I have been running Android L dev preview (now Lollipop preview) since day one it came out on my Nexus 5 and sorry to say but your theme does not look like anything 'cept the teal colorings in various elements.

achieving the exact theme as in l is nearly impossible for samsung devices due to the shi*ty coding.
If ever u come to theme a samsung rom/device u will know the pain.

I know exactly how difficult it is and how ****ty samsung devices are that's why when it came to buying a high end device I straight away ruled it in favor of Nexus.
And I didn't mean to disrespect the effort and the work put up by OP. I was simply stating that I came to the thread seeing "Wow, L-esque theme for this little s*it of a phone!" and It clearly didn't look anything like thus putting up my thoughts. Again sorry if it hurts the community. [emoji56]
