HELLO USERS OF GT-S5282!!
HERE I PRESENT THE PRE ROOTED FIRMWARE TO YOU ALL :laugh:
WHICH GIVES YOU ROOT PERMISSION IN YOUR SAMSUNG GALAXY STAR DUOS:good::good:
THIS FIRMWARE IS BASED ON BASEBAND VERSION S5282DDAMF1 AND BUILD NUMBER JZO54K.S5282XXAMF4..

AND RIGHT CLICK ON PREROOTED_FIRMWARE.7Z.001 AND EXTARCT USING 7ZIP ONLY..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND YOU WILL GET A .ZIP FILE WHICH WILL HAVE PREROOTED_FIRMWARE.TAR AND INSTRUCTION TEXT ..
FINALLY FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION.TXT..
AFTER FLASHIN VIA ODIN YOU PHONE WILL BE HAVING ROOT PERMISSIONS..

Auto pre-root script for gt-s5282!!!!!!!
Hi every one...
People were soft bricking their mobile..
So i'm introducing auto pre root script for our mobile only...
You can pre-root any firmware of GT-S5282..
Here is the link:

AUTO-PRE-ROOT-SCRIPT-V1.0
Intsructions(UPDATED):
***EXTRACT THE DOWNLOADED .ZIP FILE TO HOME FOLDER AND PASTE THE SYSTEM.IMG FILE OF THE FIRMWARE YOU WANT TO PRE ROOT**
SOME WERE REPORTING THAT THE SCRIPT WAS GIVING PROB WITHOUT SYSTEM.IMG WHAT THAT SCRIPT GONNA DO MEANINGLESS??
PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION..
1).First and for most you should be having linux ubuntu any version.
2).You should be running as a root(Optional) user.
3).Extract the contents of the downloaded file to your home folder.
4).Then open terminal and type:
sudo chmod +x Auto-pre-root-GT-S5282.sh
bash Auto-pre-root-GT-S5282.sh
5).Let the script do it work And just wait for the output file.
6).Finally you will get a .tar file.
7).Flash that tar file via latest odin.
NOTE::::: This script runs only on linux!! | Anybody interested to port this script to their mob FEEL FREE TO EDIT THE SCRIPT IT'S OPEN SOURCE :good:
Edit only one command will help in porting,
" sudo ./make_ext4fs -s -l 800M -a system pre_rooted_system.img ~/system/ "
Just change that 800M to your system.img size i pressume..

My phone is gt s5282..i downloaded all the files and placed them in a folder and extracted the 1st file..then i went into download mode via hotkeys on my phone and flashed the prerooted firmware via pda on odin..it flashed and rebooted but all i cud hear was the sounds..cud see nuthing (((((((((...my phone is updated to the latest kernel

did you flash .tar file ? flash again.. if doeant works wipe cache reset the data and try once again.. and tell me..
