Yes it does. Make sure you get an 11 pin MHL. USB OTG works with flash drives, mouse/keyboards, gamepads, etc.

Yes... both MHL & OTG. It reads ext4-partitions as well so files larger than 4GB is no problem.

Where did you get the mhl adaptor ? There is too many Chinese MHL adaptors that doesn't work at advertised.

It should have 11 pins to work but you can try what you have and see if it works.

No luck. It's difficult because no many sellers says how many pins does his product have. I'll try there
5pin = MHL 1.0
11pin = MHL 2.0
for OTG function, do i need a cable with 11pins?

... I also should add that I use a female to female usb converter and original samsung cable
Otg.
U have to use micro usb to otg cable.
When you plug in, it should say usb host connected. Even without any device.
And it should not have anything to do with the samsung cable.

Special thanks, so you mean the the OTG cable is a special cable and is different from ordinary cables or converters ?
sorry i'm new to this ...
yup, you can find them on ebay for a couple of dollars with postage.
I've just built mine in few minutes and you can do it too if you have a spare normal USB cable and a soldering iron.
You don't have to cut hard plastics and so on - you can solder directly the pin 4 and 5 from the front - but you need steady hands:

I'd be really curious to know how you were able to find an answer to this question with a 'three second Google search', you should start teaching classes.

You are the sort this forum can do without .
You break the rules by refusing to search a basic question even if its not on the first Google result its on all the posted specifications .
This is not a fix my phone forum its XDA Developers forum .

Hello community, I have a PX5 unit with and I need to connect with a BLE device (Bluetooth Low Energy), is there any way to update the module or connect via USB a dongle to use a BT module that can do it?
As far as I know there's no way to update BT module.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...al/bluetooth-low-energy-ble-mtce-px5-t3839489
Any news on this topic?
I have had success with a Bluetooth dongle that is supported by the Linux kernel.

I have problem with my Sony z5c,when I try to connect the USB otg don't work but when I connect it in recovery it works perfectly. Any solutions!?
Hello,
Are you on stock Android? If not, which ROM or version are you on?
By the way if you are on a ROM, it would be better to reply to that thread.
After some (I don't know which) release of Android, you have to enable USB OTG from the quick settings before plugging in USB devices.Looks like this:

Sorry for the late reply
It could be the OTG connecter's problem, as they are often cheap and fragile.
Have you tried using it on another phone?
(Or used other OTG connecters on your phone?)
I'm on lineageOS 18.1, but 17.1 should work better.

Yes I used it in another phone and it works
And also I tried it in many custom Roms and still the same problem.
OK I'm running out of ideas
How about doing it in this order:
1. Plug your USB device onto the connector
2. Enable USB OTG from quick settings
After that, you should see a toast saying "Starting USB OTG Detection for 30000 milliseconds"
3. Plug in the USB OTG connector
That's what worked for me. For reference, the toast looks like this:
OK I will try
