FAQ
Q Why a special Q&T Thread for a specific ROM??
A The bigger a ROM development thread gets, the greater the chance that posts are being placed in this thread that are not related to the ROM development itself, e.g. problems with flashing, installation, bugs, things not working etc. However this is understandable, it's not according to the guidelines of XDA for Development sections. Therefore the main goals of the ROM specific Q&T threads is to avoid this cluttering of the original develpment thread with these OT posts by redirecting the posters to the ROM specific Q&T thread and also to relieve the developer from answering these post, so he can dedicate his time to developing.
Q How to move my post to the Q&A/T thread?
A Copy the text of your post in the dev's thread, got to the Q&A/T thread and paste it there. After having done that, go back to the dev's thread, edit your post and change the text into: moved to Q&A/T thread, preferably accompanied with a link to this thread.
Q When I'm asked to move my post to the Q#A/T thread, do I have to do that?
A When you're asked to move your post, there will always be given an explanation by the OP of the Q&A/T, e.g. your post is not development related (f.i. SD card problems, etc), so please be so kind to move your post. If you want to help the dev to keep his original thread as clean as possible from OT posts, then the answer is, of course, YES. Although we cannot force you to move your post, it's highly recommended to do so
Q Where can I download this ROM and How do I install?
A You can find the link to download and installation instructions HERE. Pay close attention to this post, everything required for a successful flash is listed right here. If you fail to follow the instructions or meet the requirements for installation, you could run into some problems.
Q What are the known issues with these ROM's?
A See THE Developer's thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2375904
Q How’s battery life?
A I see this question asked repeatedly across all ROMS. Honestly there is no way to give you an answer based on a ROM. There are too many variables in question and results vary from user to user and device to device. Battery life is going to depend on age and condition of your battery, your use habits with your device, installed apps, tweaks, settings, etc...
Q How do I...
A Ask your questions and report your issues in this thread. You will receive a response and hopefully get you back up and running this ROM to it's fullest
Explaining the purpose of our Q&A/T threads for specific ROM's to posters.
"Hi dear followers of this ROM,
in this post I will explain the goal of this specific thread created for this ROM with the permission of the Developer of this specific ROM.
This is a statement made in the Q&A/T template thread:
"While our forum has slowly been morphing, the one area we would like to keep original is Development
The goal is to alleviate the OT banter that occurs within any rom. While the XDA forum continues to grow, we need to help users work within the guidelines created by XDA. Over the last couple of years the average rom being created, has become a free for all chat thread. There tends to be much infighting and mod/developer cleaning.
The idea of this template is to create a Questions and Answers for each rom. This is in no way asking for Development to be moved here, rather any and all conversation that is non Development related to your conjoined Q&A."
This means that non-development related posts, should be posted - with the permission of the Dev - in this thread. What are the most common Off Topic posts, that should be posted in this Q&A/T thread?
1. Battery life related posts
2. Will this app work with this ROM
3. SD Card related problems
4. How do I dowmload and install this ROM, etc, etc
Hope to have given you enough information,
kindest regards, Kuzibri

I know for sure Wifi definitely works, bluetooth and hot spot should work, if bluetooth doesn't work I have a zip for users to flash.

MOD EDIT: BEFORE POSTING ANY THREAD IN THE DEVELOPMENT SECTION, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:
If you have developed a ROM, or are working with others to do so, the development forum is somewhere to discuss and share ideas, post useful feedback and logs or crash dumps, and to discuss a common goal developers are trying to achieve.
It is NOT the place to post your question because it gets higher traffic, or because more experienced users frequent it. Doing this just annoys those who are working on the device, and drives them away. Developers don't want to wade through 20 threads of "Help me urgently" to find their threads for porting and fixing camera issues etc. Similarly, if a thread is designated as discussion for developers say, porting a camera fix, please do not post in there asking "When will it be ready?", "Can I flash this yet?" etc. This is both completely disrespectful to those working on the project (you evidently haven't read the important posts in the thread), and also is making it harder for developers to find comments from other developers or testers when required.
Similarly, don't make loads of "Thanks for your work here" posts in an active development thread. It's just as annoying to developers as asking when something will be ready. If a ROM is complete, then go ahead and thank the developer if you wish, but don't go into threads for devs only, and interrupt it to post "thanks". It's basically spamming, and is treated as such.
If you are posting in development, you should have read every sticky and notice there, and should be actively developing or helping in the development of something. Developing isn't installing a ROM, or using a tweak, it's creating a ROM or other hack or tweak. If you haven't read for several days before starting out on XDA, you are likely about to ask something already solved. I registered on XDA when I first wanted to post, and that was to join in a discussion on something. Sure, join up and ask a question, but read the information available in General and Q&A first, as your question will have been asked before. Search is your friend here, become familiar with it.
Regarding when to post in development if you are not actually developing something, there is one occasion where it's acceptable. If you find a leak of a new ROM, which isn't already posted, and you verify it's legitimacy via either running it, or based on the source you obtained it from, then this is assisting in development, and should be posted in development. If you want to ask when a leak will be available use search first, then if not already in discussion, open a thread in general or Q&A.
If you have a problem flashing a ROM, this is NOT related to development. It's up to you to determine if it is specific to a particular ROM, and post useful information in that developer's existing thread for the ROM. If it happens on more than one ROM, and isn't a known issue (remember you should read several times more words than you post), then find out what you are doing wrong. Check guides written by others, try to repeat the problem and see if it happens every time. Something needs to be reproducible to be fixed effectively.
Once you have identified what you need help with go to the device Q&A forum (general if device lacks one), and make a clear, informative thread that explains the issue, and what you have tried doing to fix it. Did you re-download the ROM? Did you ask a friend to flash it for you, to reduce chance of user error? What steps (exactly) did you follow? What errors did you see (exact wording)? Did you double check all the steps? Did you do a wipe or hard reset?
If you make a clear, concise, yet detailed post, you will find help forthcoming, and should get the problem sorted very quickly. If someone suggests you try something, report back on what happened, did it work etc. Then, next time someone has this issue and searches, they will find this and have a verified and tested solution.
So remember... before you start a thread in development, ask yourself what you are developing. If you can't answer, then stop, step away from the post button, and think about where you are posting. Would it be better in General or Q&A, or is some more time with your best friend, search, required?
hey tehouster,
t4t, you were exactly 1 half-step ahead of me with this.

Please do not clutter the Development thread with non development-related chatter
Percy's developement thread is meant for development, meaning posts should be focused on bug reporting (with logcats) and assistance in improving the ROM. Development threads on XDA are NOT intended to be 24/7 tech support for everyone who has issues with the ROM.
But even the best Android modders out there need some help configuring or changing settings once in a while. So this thread will be a great place to ask all the tech support type questions you have that aren't really related to the further development of the ROM. This will then leave the development thread a little less cluttered with day to day support questions which will allow percy_g2 to read through the development related posts faster so he can continue improving this great ROM.
XDA members who don't have the 10 posts required to post in development threads are more than welcome to ask their questions here as well! In this thread there is no such thing as a dumb question!
ALL QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME HERE!
(In the development thread, that rule does not apply. Many questions will be dumb there and will be answered accordingly.)
Before we get started I will say one very important thing that applies to ALL ROMs. Before you ask any questions about any ROM, read the first post of that ROM's development thread. I promise you that you will find many of your answers there.
And finally, if someone in this thread helps you, please take a second to click their 'thanks' button! Someone has taken the time to assist you, and clicking thanks will make them feel appreciated so they come back the next day and help someone else! You get 8 thanks a day, don't be stingy with them! (I'm not even talking about me. I'm not looking for 'thanks'. Save them for others who directly answer your questions. They will deserve it.)
To the experienced users who might be able to help your fellow XDA members asking basic questions in this thread, please take the time to do so. You were new to all of this once yourself. You needed some hand holding and basic coaching on simple stuff at one point. Pay that forward! And be patient with repeat questions, but don't hessitate to try and teach someone how to use the 'search' feature either.
How to best ask for help in this thread!
Give the following information when asking your questions. This will greatly help the community to find you an answer.
Is your bootloader unlocked? (If you don't know, its locked)
Which nightly you are using?
What have you already tried to fix the problem? (No point in telling you to try 12 things you've already done)
And I can't stress this last one enough...BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE!!!
Please don't ask your question in this thread AND in the develoment thread. If you do you can expect to get flamed in the development thread.
Thanks Skipjacks for the second post template.

The whole point of separate threads contained in a sub forum is that they are searchable, archiveable and relative to the issue in question. It's not really helpful to contain all questions and all solutions in one humongous mixed up thread.
One thread containing multiple questions/subjects/solutions can quickly become messy when there are several separate topics being discussed at the same time. Who's replying to what etc.?
It's akin to simply combining every single thread in this forum into one big thread. Confusing to say the least when you're searching for a solution to a particular issue.

So only relevant posts will show up in my thread and will in this way avoid that it becomes "messy", of which you are afraid for. As the title says, looking for advice for brands/models that are easy to root without any issues. I will be purchasing about 10 devices and will need to root to test various stuff (Personal reasons) and would want the most basic device that runs android and is rootable with no bootloader issues.
Currently i had no issue with Pixel 6 (Can simple turn on OEM unlocking). I bought the phone directly via google. I would like to know if there are other brands/models that allow such easy of access for rooting. I looked into OnePlus and some others, i think this would be best place to ask so any help is great.
My region is Canada if that is of any help. Hoping for budget phones if possible!
