CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Hey guys, so after a few days of work, ive gotten a build of cm-10.2 booted. Please keep in mind that this is a WIP and there may be some things broken.

Please note that if you are on a GB rom and you get a status 7 assert error when trying to flash this rom, first flash a cm9 rom, power off the device, and boot into recovery again.

Download rom and gapps (and us kernel zip if necessary)
reboot into recovery
MAKE A BACKUP
wipe data, cache, dalvik cache
under mounts and storage, wipe /system and /system_app
flash rom
flash gapps
(flash us kernel zip)
reboot and enjoy
If you are updating from a previous build of cm-10.2, please wipe cache and dalvik

Build uploaded. This includes the INTL kernel; a US kernel is building right now. AFAIK, this rom currently wont work with other custom kernels. check second post for flashing instructions and keep in mind that this is a beta build, so things may go wrong.

Ive uploaded a new build that should fix superuser and has a few more changes from Mevordel that I had forgotten to merge. Ive also changed the link to the gapps package to a more comprehensive zip, so it is best to do a full wipe if coming from the build earlier today to avoid duplicate apps showing up.

The ROM boots up fine. Scrolling and going into the app drawer has a huge drop in frame. Doesn't matter if it's trebuchet or Nova, still very laggy when scrolling. Other than, the ROM is great
Great job getting 4.3 to work Keep up the good work!
I noticed that scrolling in general on the web browser, Facebook,etc has a drop in frames.

Hmm, any kernel repo with commits I should add to the kernel to boot it on 4.3?
4.3 probably changes nothing here on yp-g70 but still I would like to test it
