Hi,
I just broke the screen of my Samsung Galaxy S2 (Model GT-I9100) and found out that I have a very rare version of this phone. The battery connector is on the left side (in UK it is in the right side) so the screens I can find here will not fit.
Does anyone know where I can order a screen for this variation of the S2?.
Many thanks,

Hello All!
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v (GT-P7100) model.
I see many digitaizers for 10.1 (GT-P7500), but their seems to be some difference between 7100 and 7500, but don't sure.
Does anybody know, may i replace digitizer on 10.1v with digitizer for 10.1?
I've heard some ppl complain that there's even a small difference between the digitizer for the P7500 and the P7510 in total screen size. I can't tell with 100% certainty that it won't fit, but personally, I wouldn't take that gamble. Not only could the total screen size differ, but the flat cables could be slightly different to.
Of course, feel free to gamble if you can't find any P7100 digitizers.
Same problem here, LCD still works, touchscreen not working. However can't find any P7100 digitizer screens. Someone tested a P7510 digitizer on a P7100?
Does anybody knows is it compatible part ?

Exactly!
I have plan to install display from Galaxy S2 into Galaxy S2 Plus. Screen size is similar, even the socket. Is there any chance to do it?
iFixit have disassebly guides for most of the popular handsets out thete. Look for the disassebled S2 and S2plus to compare the parts visually.

I have noticed about that I see it will fit. Otherwise I'm affraid about the digitalizer can work wrong. For example when I press numer 1 on the dialler phone recognize numer 4. I asked not about the fitting itself but about the futuer proper work.
it works - almost
Don't know if anyones still interested, but i got a galaxy SII with broken mainboard and one SII Plus with broken display from friends. so i thought i'd give it a try.
after disassembling both i found that only one connector for the three buttons below the screen was changed - two extra pins. connecting all other connectors the screen was working. and after wiggling the buttonconnector the home button worked. so i cut off some plastic so the connector fits.
All the buttons work now, only the button backlighting isn't working.
its not fully working but functional
Greetings dear forumers,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Mega i9200, for days I had to disassemble the entire phone to make a replacement lcd screen, but when you go to remove all internal parts of the vibrator flex my phone was broken, try to peel it off with pliers but it was not easy because I was really stuck, and there the accident occurred.
The point is that where I live only flex vibrator Samsung Galaxy S3 and S4 are earned, and let me know if I buy one of these I can work on my Samsung Galaxy Mega. I compared in photos and model vibrator flex for samsung galaxy S3 is very similar to using the Samsung Galaxy Mega.
Will universal parts or are designed for each model Samsung?
so I got this phone a few months back and went to plug it in went for a leak and when i came back the screen had cracked from the port upwards
samsung says its out of warranty (douchebags) so i have to fix it myself because id rather not pay them to do it it feels liek im getting ripped off.
any way the top section looks fine not a scratch its sort of underneath if that makes sense like its a second screen
i tap the screen but it makes no sound
judging from it as you all seem to be in the know here do i need
"NEW Replacement Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly For Samsung Galaxy i9300 Siii S3 L710 White"
or do i have to get
"White Full LCD Display + Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly For Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300-VeryDeal "
both of these are for sale on amazon i was going to post links but i cant cause im a new member
also i dont know if it is relevant but i have the international version of the s3 in white
i have took a few quick pics (bad quality but you can sort of see whats up with it) just incase it helps
i didnt get insurance sadly but i hope someone can help me get this working even if i can just do some kind of temporary quick fix till i get the cash to buy the new screen
thanks
I recently received a galaxy tab 10.1 with a damaged screen. While I was disassembling it I noticed it was very similar to the tab 2 which ive worked on before. I had a screen (with bad burn in ) and digitizer from a recent tab 2 repair so I wanted to see if they would work with the older tab so I sould test it before buying parts... sure enough it worked. I was wondering if they are in fact the same parts or would long term usage cause damge? I am wondering more about the digitizer at the momoment since the one I have functions fine but I am curious about the lcd also for future reference
It appears the lcd is the same/interchangeable the digitizer is not. The glass on the original tab is slightly larger (wider from left to right) so although it functions it's not an exact fit.
