Hi,
Today, I tried to update the Desire X via OTA (10 mb update). Then it went on to restart, but then I remembered I had TWRP recovery installed. Anyways after restart the update went to TWRP and I had to restart the device.
Since then, Some of my apps such as Swiftkey, ES File Manager etc were getting uninstalled every time I restart the device. I restore them back via Titanium Backup.
Now after I successfully updated the device (Stock Recovery > TWRP > Re-Root) still the problem is occurring, But just now I noticed that the apps are not uninstalled, But they reappear in the drawer after a few minutes of restart! Why is that so? How can I fix it?
Thanks!

After waiting for 10 minutes means? You waited for 10 min after factory reset and it fixed or you have to wait for 10 min after every restart?

After I restarted my Cell the boot animation keeps on replaying after the slight vibrate, same thing hapens for 10 mins then the mobile starts.
Its not normal
Can anyone help?
HI
Its really not normal.
Never happened to me.
U shud probably try
1-unmount sdcard/ check last installed application which might caused this
2-take all backups and go to cwm recovery and clear user data and caches.
3-If all these doesnt solve, then reflash cm7!

Found a partial solution after formatting the cell twice like a fool
Last night while playing Dangerous chambers 3D or somthing my cell got hanged.
Later it wouldnt restart or anything so had to pull out the battery.
After it started it went into loop mode.
I got worried
Formatted it once.
All ok later then again after some apps it went in loop mode.
Couldnt figure out which app was causing the prob.
Then today morning after some reasearch found out that:
In CM7 settings in settings menu> Tablet tweaks> disable lock screen> Tick
This is what i used to do to use an alternate lock screen.
After removing the check all is fine untill now.
Will update if anything happens next.
I also met this problem when trying to develop a CM7 ROM myself (from HPA CM7 BETA2). My problems are:
1. After building successfully, apps inside the output /system/app folder are bigger (in size, of course) than the original HPA ROM (ADWLauncher in HPA is 731.5K, and mine after building is 1M)
2. After flashing to DV, my phone hangs at the CM7 logo. It's OK to type "sudo adb devices" to see that my device is attached, but then any command other than that will receive "error: closed"
Guys, do you know what's the problem with my build?
Good day every one,
I'm having a problem after a month of using "[CM 7.2][ROM][PORT][STABLE]ACE-I-SCAPE v1.8 [12/10/2013]*Xperia Z1 Style*"....
At first everything was working smooth and fine, but i think i made a mistake, I Installed Zombies vs Plants and I think my Ace didn't like it much, everytime when screen goes sleep and game is still on it just stuck and i had to re-boot my phone and after about 6 times of doing this my ROM just crashed... When phone loaded it made Hard factory reset by it self, all apps and changes that i made to my phone got back to default, all accounts and contacts disapeared and everytime when i re-boot it now same thing happends and bigges problem is, Internal phone storage from 250mb went to 0.00B so i cannot receive any messages or install anything to my phone now.....
Could some1 advise me? Or the only solution is use Odin to flash it back to it's original state?

Hello all,
Since couple of days my phone is acting really weird. Here are the specs:
Brand: Huawei U8800 ideos X5
Rom : Aurora 4.1, update 20
Recovery: cwm
I was installing an app from the market and suddenly the phone restarts and every app starts to crash (Unfortunately...... has stopped) with the downloading app stuck at the notification at 80 % forever without progressing. The weird thing is I can't uninstall any app. I can uninstall, but after booting every app uninstalled appears as if it's not Uninstalled at all.
So I decide to do a factory reset using CWM. Cwm says reset is successful, so I restart the phone and see nothing has changed. It's as if no reset has been done and the crashing continues.
So I decide to go for Stock rom (Gingerbread). After following the official installation steps the phone says the installation is successfull and restarts automatically. When the phone boots up all I see is old Aurora Rom and the same old crash of apps(all apps crashes a_z).
This is so weird. I have never seen this before and have been googling since 2 days without any solution.
I request xda devs to help me on this.
Regards

When you're flashing back to stock have you tried to wipe every partition including your internal SD?
Also how soon does the crashing begin after you flash your ROM?, because if the crashing begins as soon you boot up, you may have a hardware issue and of course the only way to solve that would be to send your phone into warrenty if you can.
Hi tidaboy9
I can't actually flash any roms. If I do, it says the flash is successful, but after the restart nothing will change. Whatever I do in the phone, it will restore everything after reboot, apps, history , etc .
By wiping partition, do u mean flashing stock partition. That I did.
All I want to do is do a hard reset, wipe everything and start new, but I am unable to due to above mentioned reasons. And yes, the crash begins soon after the reboot.
Please tell me this not hardware related as it is not under warranty.
Thanks
Hey guys! This is my first thread here, but I knew this site before. I've got an M4 Aqua E2303, Android 5.0, Build 26.1.A.2.167 (upgraded from .99 with TWRP to keep the root.).
The story : I've got this phone like 4 months ago, I was so happy etc... After it updated to 5.0 it kept restarting randomly. Total random, when it was not under using, if I use it, it does not restart itself. Sometimes the restarts occurs when it's under charging, and sometimes when I want to unlock it and use it, and sometimes total randomly, and sometimes it shuts down. For different verions the problem was different too. On 26.1.A.2.99 it was the worst, it restarded and stuck on the boot screen until reached 0% battery. On 26.1.A.2.128 It turend off the screen, but the phone was running and the LED was red (even when fully charged) and only started with the hard off button in the SD card slot.
I've got the default "Diagnostics" app, now it says that the Phone got system errors 42 times in 10 days. It was worse before (over 140). But it doesn't say why did it restart, I'm hoping for help from any of you, who had this issue and solved it, or someone who knows a better diagnostic tool that will explain what caused the system fault.
I appreciate all the helps!
Have you performed a factory reset? (It will delete all your data and apps)

Yes, when the phone was new and the restarts were annoying. It fixed it for 1 day. The next day it was restarting again.
This would point to an app you've installed causing the issue. Factory reset again and install each app one by one until the restarts happen to find out which.

If you used the pre-rooted zip to maintain root while updating to the latest android, this will fix your rebooting problem. Follow this guide:

Hey there,
So my One X+ has been on the CM 12 for about 1 year now, but 5 days ago I was updating the apps from the google store as usual and then my phone rebooted.
It started Preparing apps, then the phone turned on. I got the message "Unfortunately, Trebuchet has stopped”, I get an empty desktop and after 15 seconds or so the phone reboots and start the process all over (preparing apps).
Any idea what I can do to fix the issue without resetting the phone?
I found this thread here but the problem is i dont have enough time in the phone to get to safe mode.
Sorry I am not the most skilled when it comes to dealing with the android platform
Thanks for the help in advanced
Edit: Ok so I Wiped the Cache and Dalvik Cache on TWRP and managed to boot, but the desktop and all the icons are gone, the phone is extremely slow, and as i try to get to the apps section the settings to force stop trebuchet, i get Settings has crashed msg and am sent back to the desktop and after a while the phone rebooted again.
Any ideas?
You can try to install a new launcher via the PC Google store.
Otherwise, try to go to recovery and factory reset.
Or try to flash another ROM. (Viper+)
When in recovery, you can connect your phone to the pc and transfer your files, if you want.
