With the powered off you have to hold volume up and power at the same time. At the boot screen press volume down twice then press power.

It is volume up plus power to get into bootloader screen, from there it is an invisible menu. Volume up twice then power or volume down twice then power will both work.

As the title says, I'm trying to flash 2.3.5 but when I press the three buttons I get the Android System Recovery 3e screen with 4 options instead of Download Mode. How can I fix this?
Hold volume DOWN + Home + Power in that order. Keep ALL pressed until DL Mode, then release all.

yes Volume up will take you into recovery (which will be stock recovery unless you install a custom one)
Volume down will take you into download mode.
How do you cold reboot the phone directly into Clockwork recovery? IE not from selecting it from a running rom - like from a battery pull.
The EVO it was something like power and volume up if I remember right.
How do you do this?
Thanks
Jeff

Volume-down and power button (simultaneously) till the screen says fastboot. Then press volume down button until you see Android Recovery. Finally press the volume-up button to select.
Remember:
Volume-down to choose
Volume-up to select
I always get confused a lot!!

I know how to boot into CWM 5.5 through x-parts but is there a way to boot into recovery without x-parts. I have a Nexus One and it boots into recovery using the vol up key during boot. Does Neo V have anything similar?
Using the vol down key

For 5.5.0.4, keep tapping the screen when you see the Sony logo..nd blue led..
Wiping the screen works too
...to be exact, I think its after the short vibration during the SONY logo. :good:

well, i was able to get it into recovery mode by holding volume down and power then removing my finger from the power key then holding it down again when the lg screen came up. but i'm an idiot. i decided to factory wipe it to start over, by mistake checked off internal data. so now there is nothing on my sd card. i dont have my back up rom or anything. is there a way to push cynaogenmod from my computer to the phone or did i just brick my phone?
Should be able to mount the SD in recovery then add a factory ROM from there.
