Hi all
I need help at my XU ..
Few months ago my XU ( locked bootloader ) was in service ( data connection didn't work ,, they are repaired my problem )
I unlocked my bootloader . All work fine .. But now i have the same problem like few months ago .. My bootloader is unlocked and i don't know what to do.
My warranty ends in December 2014.. I've tried everything but it's still doesn't work ..
Maybe you have other suggestions ? Tell me all ..
Btw .. I'm from Poland in T-Mobile .. Do you think if i relock my bootloader and give them my XU i will not lose my warranty ?

All they do is repair software using pc companion or flash a stock ftf file... So u can try that by yourself 1st..
Coz obviously they can't afford to change whole chipset or mother board.

Hmm . Few months ago when they repaired my phone i get informations about repair . There was wrote " We made mechanic repair " like this .. In polish it " Wykonalismy naprawę mechaniczną " .. And my data connetion works fine . So i think they make more than using Pc Companion etc ..
What do you think ?

Yea maybe they did... But we dont have any other option right now coz the warranty is void now.. So its bttr to try doing it at home 1st and if its still not fixed then u can try relocking the bootloader and giving it to them, maybe they will not find out abt the viod warranty n do it for free again.. At tht time u can also take ur old job sheet if have it n say tht look u guys repaired it bfre but its again not working... But bttr try urslf 1st...

Have u flashed stock ftf file? If yes then there's no need to use pc companion... Coz flashing stock ftf means everything new... N if tht doesn't works thn pc companion repairing will not also... So bttr relock the BL

My frnd also had similar problem but re-installing the phone's software using pc companion fixed it...
Just check everything again... Ur data settings in phone... Access point n stuff... N also try putting ur SIM in other phone n check if it works in other phone... Coz sometimes problem is in SIM.. Also try some other SIM in ur phone.

Waiting for device!! Reinstall your adb driver if you dont have search xda!! Den in flashboot tool Der is driver.exe install dat put fone in software download mode and connect @ flashtool or wotanclient!! I suggest wotanclient cz it doesnt ask to put fone in debugging mode!! Hopefully it work all best wishes to bring your fone back from brick!!

and the two above programs still working and when the operation is done by any one of them,,, no think happen

sryy to start a new thread but tried and searched a lot through all these threads but didnt get any answer..
yesterday i flashed mini cyanogenmod ontomy device obviously from the help of this forum only worked fine for a couple of hours but then the network buzzed off and showed insert card i tried rebooting it changing the sim but no luck..
si i decided to get into the original rom so reinstalled my software from sony pc companion but still the same problem please help guys please..

Have you tried inserting your sim card to another phone ? Have you trued inserting another sim ard to your phone ?
I think the problem is in your sim card (or network provider)... If it works without flaw on other phone, try SEUS it... If still don't help, try another sim card...
I'm suspecting your sim card or network provider since there's that "buzzing" you told me. Other case, it may be a hardware problem (hopefully not).
tried with various sim cards dude and all sims are working on my other phones it is definitely smthng wrong with dis onr only..
and it is only showing no sim card insert sim card..

I had same problem, not to worry buddy here is the solution. First did u unlock bootloader? And did this problem occur after you unlocked it and installed custom software? Kernel and rom? If you did then all you need to do is plug in your phone again and rerun setool2 while the phone is plugged into the p.c it should restore your network to it's original state. If it didn't succeed the first time then try a second time, it will work!
Let me know if you came right.

the fone was already rooted before all this..
i did it using flashtools..
flashtools->plugins
then unlocked my bootloader from there..
then flashed the custom kernel for the mini cyanogenmod
and installed the custom rom..
also i installed the custom rom before flashing the custom rom but fone didnt startd up so came to knw dat will have to flash the new kernel..

You can run msm7227 in faiyyaz's S.E tweaker tool it should restore your gsm.

Reflash the phone with s.e.u.s (sony ericsson update service) you can google it if you don't have it already downloaded. Let me know what happens.

Don't push the sim card too far when pluging it. It's back must touch the extremity of the slot.

Run msm 7227 plug in your phone via usb and p.c it will detect your phone and run the set-up. After it automatically reboots gsm and it should be restored.

Does repairing from SUS or PCC need locked bootloader?
I have a unlocked bootloader from the official website of sony
And running cm7
I want to repair my neo v as all the roms related to cm7 are lagging
It wasnt like this before bt afta some months of daily changing roms and kernel cm7 cm9 miui lags
And i even flashed ftf files bt did not got any result
So i want to repair using SUS or PCC which is good for repairing? And does both of them need my cell again to be relocked?

Yes you need locked bl, other way you cant update
So if i relock it using the ftf file found in xperia mini forums for relocking bootloader n afta the repair how do i unlock the bootloader again

almost same, both use same database.
try PCC then if it doesn't work try with update service.

No, it will flash fw for same region which you have on your phone at the moment.
Only locked bootloaders can update through sony companion or bridge for mac
If you have unlocked ur bootloader, you can easily search forums at XDA to relock ur bootloader and get updates from sony !
Is there any difference between serial no. xxxx-xxxx but same region

hey guyzz, i have sony LWWand i think i have a problem right now. I updated my phone via SEUS by it didn't update said' failed to update. Then i did the same thing with sony pc companion n same msg was shown, i.e. update failed. Now my phone is not starttin, wen i press da power button it just vibrates for a while n nothing happens, wen i connect it to a charger, green led glows but nothing happens....wat shud i do ??

Okay. So tell me if you have root or not. If your bootloader is unlocked or not. If you have CWM installed or not?

i did nothing, my fone is not rooted either, just nothing.
i just wanted to format my fone n card, so i just tried to update my fone after removing card n sim !!
then in da middle of nowhere the update failed and now it's not starting

Okay. So here's what you as a normal Sony Customer do. Take your phone to the Sony Store. And he will repair it there. As it must be still under warranty.
On the other hand, if you want to play with warranty and want to fix it at home, then, download an application called flashtool from the internet. Using this tool, flash the ftf of .42 firmware on to your cell.

Head over here and read the section called as downgrade. Here you will find all relevant files too.

No. He got it corrected now. .
He was trying to root a non rootable firmware in a new method as worked out by puppet13th.
The method should have worked in theory, but it did not due to lack of space in phone memory of Till's phone. And that's why it briked.
Now, puppet has worked on the problem, and has edited his project, such that the file which was causing the problem (this file was required for rooting), was removed soon after it did it's job of helping in the root process. .

Hello guys,,
I'm not very noob, but i never faced this problem before!
My SE Xperia NEO V runs on GB 2.3..
And started to make probs suddenly, such as "Google play stopped unexpectedly" and "Google account stopped"
besides almost all services made the same error and became almost unusable.
I flashed it by flashtool latest version to GB .62 and then to .42
it worked well for 1 day then made the same errors!
I flashed JB with flashtool as well but also works for one day then everything collapse!
All that ended by that my neo v kept restarting and stucks every time on sony xperia screen the restart again.
I tried to flash again GB or JB but this time makes an error on 99% and dont continue and shows a yellow alarm triangle screen on the fone!!
that happen everytime i flash and nothing works.
I tried:
- flashtool
- sony PC companion
- SEUS
- emma "from sony"
NONE of them helped
My NEO V is unrooted & the bootloader is locked.
Please help me
Flash ics. 587 firmware and see.. Tick no final verification before flashing.. And check all boxes in wipe data and all other boxes in that column.. And try flashing..

Then the boot is error , it is either hardware or soft brick , but if flash ftf can't help then Sony Service Center is the way to go

Last option I would suggest.. Unlock bootloader.. I hope your phone is getting connected into fastboot mode.. Flash a custom kernel..using the recovery of the kernel flash any custom pre rooted rom.. Try this..

Thank you! but i think its not possible to unlock BL in my case, because my phone isn't starting at all! but it keeps on rebooting after showing "xperia" logo.. Am i right?
U can unlock.. Search for the Sony official unlocking method on Google.. Everything is given over there.. As far as I remember it needs fastboot to work..

You don't need the phone on. Just remove the battery and the IMEI is the 15 digit number next to the S/N code. This number comes with dash, you have to take them out.

You don't need the phone on. Just remove the battery and the IMEI is the 15 digit number next to the S/N code. This number comes with dash, you have to take them out.

OMG guess what?!! i tried this solution right after u suggested it but in vain! i didnt work then!
but 2 hours ago i tried it agin after unlocking BL and it worked like magic!!!!!!!
but i recieved the same old errors like "google service stopped working"
so i did a factory reset and erase internal data. and it stopped showing those errors again!!
just everything seems to be workin as it should be!!! like magic! XD
