If no one else answers I'll give it a try but I won't be home until later tonight and might not have much time. And will likely need hand-holding on how to do what you need, LOL!
ETA: Oh and I have a custom ROM & Kernel on mine if that matters.
Thanks for responding being on a custom rom is fine but I need stock kernel so if you could flash it that would be great!

I have a boot.img with the stock kernel in it. The Darkslide ROM has some issues with WiFi and other things when I run the stock kernel. Would the boot.img help?
if it's directly from the dev edition phone then definitely could you please upload it if it is?

Also note it says to bump your question once in 24 hours. There are not that many developer editions out there that someone is sitting here waiting for your request.
I have a stock Dev edition ATM (no root or recovery) but can access ADB if I can help. I am also interested in finding out how to get a stock recovery package for the Development Edition.

Update
Update: I have some good news and some bad news (mostly bad)
Good News: I have unlocked the bootloader
Bad News: the unlock is not permanent(?) but I might be able to fix that, just need some the run the following comands in terminal emulator and give me the files that were made:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p22 of=/sdcard/boot.img
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p23 of=/sdcard/recovery.img
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p32 of=/sdcard/devlog.img
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p29 of=/sdcard/system.img
If anycone can run these (on stock w/o recovery that would be great!
I'm going to try to help. I have a stock DEV edition, non-rooted. It has been 3 years since I messed with ADB, so I will probably need some hand holding

You don't need a computer it's fairly simple just download terminal emulator from the play store and run the commands the output files will be on the root of the internal storage so if you could just upload those that would be great
Thanks. I get permission denied trying to copy /dev/block/mmcblk0p22
Do I need to be rooted?

K. I also got ADB running. Now what would be the best way to root this. I assume you don't want me to use a custom recovery to get there.

follow the instructions on this thread and help the op author out ASAP PLEASE!!
EDIT* darn it, i forgot yours is a dev phone. so root may be different..... sorry. i was just so excited about this news.
Yep. That's for an ME7. My dev phone is OYUAMDK. As far as I understand, the MDK root methods wipe the recovery or the kernel, depending on the method. I think the OP is asking for both to be intact so he can get copies. I'm not rooting until I hear from the OP.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THIS MAN, LET'S GET THIS BABY UNLOCKEd!!

There is a kernel and root via heimdall. Google for it. No forum here yet. I think we will end up with a Lagfix, Voodoo modded kernel first.
Root information = http://rootzwiki.com/topic/7840-kernel-guide-root-your-stratosphere/
Be sure to download these drivers as well if you are on Windows:

Right now there's one person by the name of knightcrusader on Rootzwiki trying to get CWM ported to the Stratosphere but is running into issues. If anyone here who can help him figure out his issues that would be amazing... and huge thanks in advance.
Awesome replies, thanks. Can't wait to flash something!

Thanks for the dump, but that doesn't help me. I don't think its possible to read those files. Could you root (there's a guide for that at androidcentral forums) then install root explorer (or alternative file explorer that supports root). Then go outside of your sd card into the root space (keep pressing back till you see a couple other folders). Then press mount r/w at the top right. Then press and hold on the system folder and press create zip.

Your system dump is very similar to our new gb update. DRockstar, a recovery developer from the epic 4g forums is looking into helping you guys.
yes, I'm aware of you guys now, and have experience porting ClockworkMod to Samsung devices...
I need to find a willing rooted user, to let me teamviewer into his computer with the phone connected, to get the information I need.
I won't be able to do it today, but perhaps tomorrow.
In the meantime, I have an irc channel set up now, on
irc.irondust.net #stratosphere
http://webchat.irondust.net/?channels=stratosphere
I'll subscribe to this thread, to keep up with the news... anyone interested, please join the irc channel I just created.

Got TWRP recovery mostly ported. Need to add dual sd mount feature so you guys can flash roms from external and internal sd cards.
I'm willing.
I'm not seeing this device specifically mentioned though. Do I just do the all other supported device version then? Haven't done this before as my Incredible 2 had Revolution X.
Hey con, good to see you here as well. I was also a Rez forum veteran, happy to be with the Dinc4g now. How's your nexus rolling?
I went on the HTCdev site, and unlock of bootloader is successful!
Since you have unlock I can probably port a One S recovery since you have basically the same hardware.

I have a Verizon Note 2 that I want to sell because I got the Note 3.
I need to go back to a stock ROM. I am rooted via TWRP. I am little new at this part of rooting. Can someone recommend a stock ROM I can use so I can get my phone ready for sale?
All I need is to find a Verizon Note 2 Stock ROM. I want to keep it rooted, but back to stock ROM.
I can't find one.
Can anyone assist me please!
THANKS!

If you just want stock root and keep the unlocked bootloader and custom recovery, you should be able to flash this in recovery.

If you want to re lock without custom recovery you're going to need help from someone else as I've never done it and wouldn't want to give you the wrong info.

Hello, I have a Galaxy S4 developers edition stock with version 4.2.2. I have never rooted it or changed the ROM in any way. Yet for some reason I have yet to get a single update from Verizon or Samsung ... Everything I am reading says I should have 4.4 by now .. At least 4.3... Is there a reason why I am not getting update.
Thank you.

Developers Editions don't receive updates. I guess they assume that anyone with a Dev Edition will ROM it.
Hello silver7x,
I noticed your post saying that you have a Dev s4. As you may know there are people trying to unlock the bootloader for the retail version of the s4. Would you be willing to take 5-10 minutes to help them out by sending a copy of your aboot to: Surge1223 ?
We would all greatly appreciate your help. If you need help figuring out how to do so, check out his thread for unlocking the bootloader. Or send him a PM labeled "S4 Dev aboot"
Thank you!

There's no Stock KitKat ROM for the Verizon phone at the moment. You'll have to wait until VZ releases 4.4.2.

I am on stock as can be with Android 4.1.1 and would like to update to 4.4.4 if possible or something newer and I would mind having a custom ROM or something stock. I haven't done any custom ROM's in a while, so don't know a few things around that like whether you can install. update apps as normal out of Google play store and Amazon app store.
Anyways, any thoughts on my best choice of process. I think my tablet is already rooted or at least was rooted at one point in the past, I didn't custom anything back when it was rooted. I did findthis thread, but since I can't post in that thread yet, I figured I would start here.

Where are all the files I need to download this information? I do have ADB installed.
Woking fastboot & adb / SDcard optional
TWRP for a 201 = twrp_tf201t.blob
@ne0zone75 TWRP for the 300 = ne0zone75_tf300t.blob
HairyBean BL & TWRP: This is effectively turn your 201 into a 300
All 3 of the above file are in a zip in the Download section @ the top of every page of the thread ...... THIS ZIP IS NOT FLASHABLE...Your must unzip it to get to the real files
CROMBI 300 ROM zip
A fully charged tablet
All the above files in the same directory as your fastboot.exe (if using windows) In your home folder on linux.... or on a SDcard
