I am wondering if anyone has been able to make the Sense IME (keyboard) available on AOSP ROMs. I am aware that there are ROMs out there that are Sense/AOSP smashed together. But that's not what I am looking for. I do not have the HTC One, sadly. But I love the looks and I am looking forward into getting one. But for now, I want to know if anyone would be willing to extract the Sense 5 IME and plant it into a pure AOSP ROM. I am afraid of framework incompatibilities and other things that might make it not work. Thanks in advance!

No which ROM? What is it called?
I don't know but this might work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=643985
Just make sure your /system isn't 100% in use.
Hi and Hello!
As the Topic states, I want to remove all Sense Stuff and use the Android 4.0 Standard.
Is this possible? How?
Is the standard Homescreen in the Rom or is only Sense in there?
Thanks in Advance
There are no fully functional AOSP ROMS out right now for this phone because of HTC not releasing source code for certain things, like 4G wimax.
There are a few sense roms that have most of the sense removed, but it's still not pure ICS.
There are some launchers that will look like AOSP, but again, that's just a sort of skin over the sense UI.
I had a few questions about AOSP ROMs and such. Firstly, I know what an AOSP ROM is, don't get me wrong, but one thing I didn't know is if an AOSP ROM for the S4 came with the features the phone is supposed to have like smart scroll, air gestures etc. Do they, or is there one that does? My second question was, if AOSP ROMs do not include these features is there a way to theme the phone to look like AOSP or a ROM (other than Eclipse) that looks like AOSP but has the features of the phone? I really like the AOSP look, but I want the features the phone is supposed to have. Also, the reason I don't want to run Eclipse is because I've tried it and loved it, however, the clock with the owner information for the lock screen doesn't work (at least for me, the owner info doesn't show up) and I really want the owner info there. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
By its v very definition, those features are not part of AOSP roms. They ate proprietary to Samsung's TouchWiz overlay.

Is it possible, through Xposed or something similar (not requiring a new ROM) to get the HTC Sense 5x QuickSettings toggles on an AOSP ROM?
It's the one thing from Sense that keeps dragging me back on my HTC One. The click to toggle/hit the 3-dots to configure makes so much more sense to me than Google's seemingly haphazard way of doing it.
Does anyone know if such a mod exists or of anyone who would see this as an opportunity to make one?
I was wondering if someone could make a AOSP Rom and add the Sense UI to it with the Ported sense apps from Xpirit but possibly with the Sense settings and not the AOSP looking ones? If it's possible I mean, if I knew how to build AOSP roms and how to mod them to be flashed I would personally take the task on but allas I do not...
