Disable Google Play Services - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Who can tell wich services can I disable on Google Play Services app or plugin or whatever it is with app called Disable Service(available on play market)
It's running in background and hogging ram... I want to uncheck only those options wich won t ruin something or will disable Google Play Store
or can I uncheck all? There is about 60 services.
or maybe I can uninstall whole Google Play Services app? Will It cause any bugs?
As far as I know it's possible.
I already dealt with Annoying Google Maps that BIT*H is done and won t run in background at least till it will be needed.
Thanks

Anyone?

I don t know wich services are causing this but here's what unchecked:
first 11 services starting from mdmdispatcherservice and ending with gamessyncservicenotification
and PlusService , PlayMateService
whats up with the trial? I downloaded mine from playmarket it seems to be ok
p.s. googleplayservices will turn on and run in the background as soon as u run Youtube app or playmarket but it won t turn it self over and over once u force stop it
edit: actually now I think u have to uncheck services wich are highlighted blue... those are the running services

Sweet app, this Disable Service! Thanks for the tip. I have frozen Google Play Services completely using App Quarantine, and no adverse effects for me - quite the opposite actually since the phone behaves better in all ways (memory-constrained 512 Mb Xperia Ray might be why). But if I run into any troubles, I'll go the Disable Service way instead.

-Scarface- Have you any further encounters with unchecking services since you post in August?

Use greenify, much better and safe.
Don't forget to convert google services to user app first with titanium so you can chose to hibernate in greenify.

Well I tried Greenify:
I uninstalled Disable-Service and installed Greenify, used Titanium to convert Google Services to user app, but I found that Greenify kept reporting it had failed to hibernate Google Play services. So I’ve re installed Disable-Service, which works for me.

Did you have installed Xposed Insaller and you have enabled Greenify from it?
An other question: I have disabled these services, there are other useless services?

Sorry that was over a year ago, I cant remember now.
However I never succeeded in stopping Google play services and its wake-locks using 2% of my battery.

Uninstall Google Play Store

Hi guys,
I was wondering if it is possible to uninstall the Google Play Store via Titanium Backup without having FCs and trouble after.
Honestly I use very few apps (this device doesn't allow to have many) and I would like to increase the RAM availability by stopping Google Play services. In addition, one can download the apps using the browser, so it really seems like a RAM and battery wastage.
I already tried to disable the Google Play store with Autostarts but it seems like the new version of the Google Play cannot be disabled completely. I also tried to uninstall the Google Play updates but it updates automatically again. So I was thinking to remove it completely.
Anyone has suggestions/has already tried?
Thanks in advance to everybody
Yes you can but wont increase ram much.
What rom are you on.
ALWAYS BACKUP STYSTEM APPS.

Disable Google Services Completely

Hello All
This isn't my creation. I've found this little yet useful app for everyone. It can disable any system or non-system services fully.
Means, it won't eat battery and ram. Enjoy!
Disable Services
Thanks man! I hope this really works!

This really works man. Just disable the services which are always running. Keep the other services intact. You can check those services running in the apps running tab. After disabling those go check the running apps tab, you'll rejoice
Why would you like to diable google services? If you do this Play Store and updates wont work properly.

If you want to use google services then this thread isn't for you guys. I don't use location service all the time so I want it to sleep when i'm not needing it. But it doesn't sleep at all no matter what you disable. This is the solution.

Delete/Remove/Uninstall/Disable Google Play Services

Hello friends
I've been searching for 2 hours and found no solution! I need to delete Google Play Service completely from my phone or totally disable it! Even when I disable it, using phone "disable feature" Google play service and all it's apps are still eating my battery 45% (Running). The only way to kill it it's root my phone? I can't find way to contact Google or Android there is no email on the internet! Many people want to delete Google Play Services I've seen a lot of threads but found no solution! I don't need Google Play Services at all. Thx.

hy people,
I had the same problem with my note8. gt-n5110.. But, I did a workaround with the apk.
1- delete - wipe the user data after instal RR 7.1.2
2- using the website of apkpure I installed the firefox, this browse have no problem to install.
3- using firefox I used the site of APK DOWNLOADER.
4- APKDownloadr needs the app link from GooglePlayStore. Them, you go to the app in the googleplay and catch the link off this app.
5- insert the link in the apkdownloader prompt, Generate Download Link, then download apk.
That way, it´s not necessary the to use the Google Play Store.
But, I'm instead the GPS problem, this no works in my device. If somebody have a solution or workaround it´s so good for us. thanks

Google Play Services 5.x DeepSleep "FIX"

The new Google Play Services 5.x keeps our device awake which results in battery drain.
Install Autorun Manager from Google Play Store and deactivate all SystemUpdateService$Receivers in Google Play Services.
Haven't DeepSleep problems for a week now. Read somewhere else that Google Play Services checks permanently for current Android version in Custom Roms.

A new CM version from johnnysylt should fix this problem
Before I deactivate all SystemUpdateService$Receivers in Google Play Services, may I know if it can be reversed?

Thank you Bender80.
This can also be done in Rom Toolbox- JRummy app, in Auto Start manager. Long press on Google Play Services, hit Advanced, and knock off those permissions.
Thanks for the heads up
Are there any other permissions you would suggest stopping?

New CM build contains a fix for that problem. I think it works. Other user mentioned in CM thread that battery drain is gone caused by Play Services. Don't know if it's fixed in other Custom Roms.
I usually don't revoke any permissions. Sometimes they have too many affects on other apps. Afterwards you can't remember what you have changed, if something doesn't work as normal. But this battery drain was a pain in the ***.

Doing that + greenifying Google Play services should solve your problem (at least it did for me). I haven't noticed any problems with my apps either, although I don't really use any of the Google ones except for the Play Store.

Try taking away all of Google Play services' permissions in app ops. Also, in disable service disable:
All of Google Backup Transports
All of Google Calendar Sync
All of Google Contacts Sync
All of Google Play Movies
Google Play Store - Content Sync Service (if this kills the play store then reenable it)
If that doesn't work then try uninstalling Play Services and reinstalling an older version without wi-fi on. After that, disable the services related to updating it.
