He will have to flash the firmware again.
To turn the phone off he need to press volume up + power button untill he feel 3 vibrations(about 10-15 seconds).
Now the phone turned off and he can flash again.
Which flashtool did he use? current version is 0.9.11.0.
Did he install all drivers (phone, flash mode, and fatboot mode). with the installer than come with it located in drivers folder in flashtool folder.
Post the log of flashtool if it fails again.

I'm having problems installing this ROM as well. When I flash the zip package I can't flash the kernel nor anything else. Thus, I get stuck on SE's logo too.
As said above, you can repair your device using PC Companion. Click on Update and then select Repair.

if you get the SE screen then it boots....
what you need to do is use pccompanion to repair your phone.
download it and follow the instructions
unless you have unlocked the bootloader you are NOT screwed..calm down and repair
I tried that. PC Companion won't even recognize that there is a phone connected.
Yea, when I clicked repair, I got as far as unplugging everything and holding the back key while plugging in again. After that is said that there was no software available yet. When I tried again, it wouldn't work at all...

So now i have another Problem. I flashed back to the stock firmware. Then I loaded the app Root checker: it says no, your phone isn´t rooted. So i was happy and thought now i can update my phone... But it don´t work.
Thanks for help
For install official updates, need locked bootloader with stock firmware and kernel!
Relock your bootloader by flashing this : http://doomlord.sylvester20007.com/xperia_s/Xperia-S_Relock_bootloader.ftf in flashtool.

[Q] Need help getting my Sony Xperia U to boot...

Well Hi,
I've been trying to flash a rom on my phone yesterday, and I've unlocked the bootloader and installed CWM Touch v5.5.0.4, I then tried to flash TheBrainsRom v10 but my xperia was stuck in bootloop, it opened the sony splash screen, then a nexus splash screen then a sony splash screen and etc. So now, I tried solving the problem by flashing this kernel on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2028139 "Other method to root just flash this kernel (B54) via fastboot and you are rooted : here" And that didn't work out too well, i'm now stuck in a bootloop at the sony splash screen. But strangely enough, I can still access the cwm recovery.
As for my phone it's a sony xperia U (ST25i) 6.1.1.b.1.10
Thanks for reading this, and please help me if you can :S

Yes, I did. :L
EDIT: I just saw that the recovery I'm using isn't for my firmware version... Should I flash an older version, even if this one works fine?
I did another full wipe, and reflashed the rom. But it's now stuck in the other bootloop the one that shows the sony splash screen, then the nexus splash screen.
By any chance, while installing ROM, did you wipe System ? I think thats the likeliest thing.
And dude, try flashing stock FTF with Flashtool It might help
Yeah flashing ftf solves everything
Sent from my ST25i using Tapatalk 2
Ok, I will do that, but how? And no, I didn't wipe System. Thanks for your help guys And if anyone can explain to me how to flash the stock ftf, please do.
Follow these steps
1) Start Flashtool
2) Click the Lightning icon then select your FTF
3) Exclude baseband if your device is STxxi and the firmware is for STxxa or viceversa
4) Press ok and start Flash. Then, after a minute or so, Flashtool will ask you to connect the device.
5) Turn off the phone. Connect the usb cable to the PC (not connected to Phone yet)
6) Holding down the "Volume Down" key, you connect the cable to your phone.
7) Give it a few seconds and a Green Light shows up. Then, flashing starts on Flashtool
8) Once flashtool starts flashing, you can stop holding down the Volume Key
9) Wait for the process to finish then unplug the phone and turn it on
That ought to solve your problems. The stock FTF can be found in Dev section of your phone. I'd recommend C.1.0 version as its newer

Well, you could download the update using SEUS and then make a ftf from it.
That is b.1.10 not C.
As far as I know c.1 is specific firmware made specially for T-Mobile Croatia and the only c.1 on this forum for now.

Hey bro,
Installing C.1.0 is quite fine on any device T-Mobile branding is minimal and can be easily removed Its the fastest of the 3 stock f/w in my opinion and least buggy I recommend you go with that one
Cheers

Did you try repairing it via PC companion or flashtool...
Flash a stock firmware.ftf
It should work
Since you don't have root... You can't just do a factory reset by CWM

[HELP]Bricked A116!!!

Guys plz help me out....
i flashed this ROM on my friends A116 HWv01 SWv16
It was running smoothly until after 1-2 days it hanged and stuck at bootloop, unable to enter recovery ( Mediatek logo came but then it switches off).
I flashed stock ROM but it gave error and was stuck at 41% in green bar.
I tried to reflash it but it gave same error 3149 and this time stuck at 34%.
If i try to boot, it shows canvas logo.
I retried to flash last time but since then it is giving me "BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032) [EMI] Enable DRAM fail" error.
Preloader is intact as it detects A116.
I have succesfully flashed through sp tools before.
I have two stock ROMs both giving same error.

That could work... First flash the stock recovery.... And then flash philz... If that doesn't work am afraid you're gonna have to go to service centre... But beware they are gonna loot you... One of my friends was asked to pay 1000 for ruining the phone..

Same problem guys!!!
Hey guys
I got into a wierd problem today!
I am using MIUI ROM but flashed Discovery few days back so Boot logo is still of Mediatek(discovery rom)
It was perfectly working since installation!
But today - I pressed unlock button! Slided the screen unlock down , but screen didnt unlock , it got stuck there!
I pressed unlock button again and screen went off, Now i pressed unlock again to turn it on!
This time nothing came on screen , only hardware buttons light came up! and from this point on unlock button had no effect!
As last resort i pulled the battery! BUT now it gets stuck at boot logo(not bootanimation) . I cant open recovery or fastboot by volume buttons . It stays at bootlogo for around 30 seconds before restarting to again get stuck in boot logo!
If i connect phone without battery! MT65xx preloader gets installed on laptop but i cant do anything because it keeps getting restarted there also!
I am out of troubleshooting Ideas ! please suggest!

Flash stock ROM using sptools..... here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2312557
Just replace recovery.img with your own recovery of choice (rename it to recovery.img).
Flash it using sp tools..... i get BROM error but recovery gets flashed which will help you restore your nandroid backup.
