I read the tutorials about the flashtool. They allways say got to the flashtoolhomepage and download the latest Version for your device.
When i go to the side http://androxyde.github.io/index.html?1376035560000 i just can't find a Version for the Xperia P.
So either I'm on the wrong side or section or i have to use a Version for another device.
So please, can someone point me to which Version is correct for me? Thanks a lot.

@eismaus
Maybe they just gave up on updating latest versions, you can find one, or make one yourself from PCC files.
I found my error. I was serching on the firmewarepage and thought they made diffrent versions for the diffrent devices.
@Tecnicfta Thanks for the link. That would habe been the next step.
Try this latest version for Window OS : http://thepiratebay.sx/torrent/8561454/flashtool-0.9.11.0-windows.exe

Hi,
Here is a Flashtool bundle that will relock the bootloader.
It will install the stock 2.6.29-00054-g5f01537 kernel and then relock the bootloader.
EDIT :
Now this ftf is part of flashtool install. Get the latest release here
Regards,
Androxyde
Working great!
Hi Androxyde
i´ve run ftf file and on kernel info appear:
HTML:
2.6.29-00054-g5f01537
[email protected] # 1
Sun Jun 19 22:24:46 2011
so stock kernel was properly installed yet one doubt:
Shouldn´t i be able to see plugins on flashtool so that i can unlock again?
On previous version i was able to see this image but on last one can´t even see anything
EDIT: could be because of "androidversions=2.1,2.2,2.3"? witch mean if we have a 2.3.7 this won´t recognize?

It's because of the Android version you have. I search for a string starting with 2.1 / 2.2 / 2.3 pattern in the result of android version.
You can go to custom\features\UnlockBL\features.properties (or devices\X10\features\UnlockBL cause in older versions it was in the devices folder) and edit the androidversions property to add BlackEdition for example :
androidversions=2.1,2.2,2.3,BlackEdition
then it should work

Looks like I'm getting wifi errors when doing this. It just shows an error message when trying toggle wifi. I was running Dooms unlocked kernel 5a.
Edit: Installed the ThKernel (Stock) from Appman (on the TEAM Rom) and wifi has been restored.

Despite the fact you had resolve your issue this will be valid for others.
How can you expect wifi to work without proper wifi modules?!
If this is stock kernel obviously you have to install correspondent Wi-Fi modules. Isn't that what everyone does after install any available kernel?!

That is what I ended up deducing. I was quick with my itchy posting finger and posted my comment before I did my own quick test. I left my comment the way it was just in case someone had the same issue as me. It was not obvious to me at first but I figured it out rather quickly. And no, not everyone installs wifi modules after flashing a kernel. I didn't so I'm not included in your "everyone" category.

"everyone" was a figure of style (not sure if this exist in English ) either way i should have putted 99%
i know not everyone (FXP, my own rom were an example of it).
final thought. my point´s still valid
@Mods
i think this should be sticky. may be 2 important to get lost in a couple of weeks

In case of bad unlock with loss of network services, you can revert back to original.
My reasoning is that I am selling my phone and the person buying it wants to sim unlock his phone. As such revert.
Edit: Thanks Androxyde, will be sending a donation ASAP.

wrong thread, it should be asked in the flashtool thread, this one for bootloader relock
To your questions: The plugin only appears if you have the correct andriod and kernel version. the android version is correct, but the kernel version is not stock one, that's why the plugin stays hidden.

Hello, folks.
At first, sorry for my bad English.
I have an Xperia Neo V (MT11a), and I figured out that changing the build.prop file to make my phone "pretend" to be a MT11i would make my phone able to play some HD games. And yeah, it works. But I am having some issues on some games (specially Modern Combat 3) that I suspect that should end by upgrading my firmware.
So, as I am seeing now by reading the forum threads, it seems that my firmware version is quite old (4.0.1.A.0.283, running Android 2.3.4).
I really searched the forum about how to upgrade my firmware, but all threads I faced stated that having the 4.0.2.A.0.42 is a primary requirement; I didn't find a thread about upgrading from 4.0.1.A.0.283 to a newer one.
So, how can I upgrade my firmware? Because, here in Brazil, PC Companion always reports that my phone is up to date (but we know that it is not!).
Waiting for an answer, and thanks in advance.
Sir search for sony ericsson update service application for your pc..
(can't post URL cause i'm using only my phone)
Use it if pc companion are not working..
If i helped tou!! Pls press thanks button..)))

Why don't you install pc companion, connect phone to pc and press check for updates
@OP: ether go to wotan server which I advise since it's simple for new guys. or you can flash .ftf file with flashtool
ftf file: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445974
flashtool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351317

Then you gotta use flashtool, read flash tool guide on the link down
[FLASHTOOL GUIDE] HOW TO for n00bies - G-FACE GUIDE
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=10879507#post10879507
Then use the link down to download 0.42 ftf file and flash with flashtool, backup everything like contacts, apps, sms etc... before flashing as you will loose everything in the phone and after the flash it will be like brand new from the factory.
Link for 4.0.2.A.0.42 fw

I agree, it's the same situation in Croatia, the updates come a bit later so you will have to flash it manually. I tried both and got no updates for .62 i think.
Actually...the newbies(i wont use noobies...it sounds kinda offensive) are a bit scared to tinker upon their new phones...they do search...but rely upon the seniors for assurance...but it is a boring task to answer again and again same type of queries.
Sent from my MT11i using XDA
I had the same problem with my MT15i but one day crossed my fingers and used Wotan. If you are afraid about command lines and other stuff like I was before I suggest you try wotan, it's very intuitive and simple.
I cant update my phone through PC Companion as my phone is rooted and it gives an error.
So, somebody please upload the firmware.
Thanks in advance
BTW The new firmware version is 6.1.B.0.544
And if somebody does not upload the ftf file. I will try to do if catch hold of it. Read a xda post on how to make one.
METHOD TO GET ICS 100% CONFIRMED WORKING:
For those who want ICS, just download the .ftf file from quanghut123's original thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1790276
Flash that and when its finished go to settings, check for software update -> DONE !
alternate method, flash the .564 ftf firmware & update to ICS via Sony PC Companion, confirmed 100% working here =)

Get Flashtool if you don't have it yet.
Get 2.1 Stock Rom (If your particular country or language isn't there, choose UK or Nordic)
Put the .ftf file in the flashtool\firmwares folder and flash it to your phone.
Good luck

I choose UK and I open the link but there is too many download button
I click all the download button but still get nothing.
Do u have the file? can u upload it?
EDIT : I read the last post of the 2.1 Stock Rom thread and someone says "his file does not exist, the access to the following file is limited or it has been removed due to infringement of copyright."

Im looking fir an older version of Sony Flashtool, older than 0.9.13.0 to work on a Mac or a Windows. For some reason the current one wont work for me. Anyone know of any links to an older version?
I would avoid older versions as it may end in a brick.
What errors is flashtool giving?

The current one for me also doesn't work properly, keeps giving me header error when flashing. I found out this is because of driver problem. With the 9.11 version the driver is SEMC Device, with 9.13 the driver was S1 Device.
You can google for the 0.9.11 flashtool androxyde and get it from that direct download links google gives you, thats what i did.
