Hi,
I am a total newbie..
I had just flashed my Micromax Canvas HD from 4.1.2 to 4.2.1 using SP Flash Tool a few days back
I am facing some problems with my phone and want to revert back to its original state. So can I do that using the SP Flash Tool and the same process?
It has same procedure like 4.2 update just download 4.1stock ROM then flash it via sptools like u do before try it.

Well my chd is within warranty and I wanna give it to them so that they fix my camera flash problem. Since I have flashed stock 4.2 ROM is it OK to flash stock 4.1 using sp flash tools?? Is there a binary/flash counter on Chd which counts the no. of times I have flashed a ROM? Do I have to use triangle away? Will they get to know the ROM flashes and reject? Please do answer. Thank you in advance

As far as I know, SVC guys are not so smart enough to doubt if you re-flash the stock ROM using SP Flash tools.
Also, I had used the stock recovery once after reflashing stock ROM and there was no alert triangle icon. So, no need to worry about that.
Just clean your SD card and Internal SD card after reflashing stock ROM to be sure, so that any additional folders created using any Root app or custom recovery (specially such as Titanium Backup, Clockword, TWRP) are not present.
Thank you for your reply. So there will be no problem in flashing stock 4.1 after firmware upgrade to 4.2. OK will try to trick those guys

To Flash that ROM or any other Custom ROM you need to have Custom Recovery. you can use CWM or TWRP.
here's a link to CWM thread--> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167621
follow instructions in that thread to get CWM.
Then goto Custom ROM's thread and follow the instructions there to flash the ROM!!!!!!
hey.... Can any say how to revert back to stock jellybean 4.1.1 :/
I have updated to JB yesterday and got a problem with custom Roms....so please ... say me how to go to stock again

If you want stock Jb but want to keep root then flash the Jb stock Rom from the Development section and do a wipe

Hello guys i'm just facing a problem with my s3 .. i have been using custom rom 4.4.4 for a long while but today i wanted to back to the stock rom (4.1.2) using odin .. after installing the rom it doesn't boot anymore i waited more than a hour and nothing happened.. i also reinstalled the rom again and i also followed the steps one by one , please help me thanks all
Factory reset in recovery.
4.1 may cause your efs to be unreadable, flash 4.3 stock instead.
1. Does Odin confirmed that the flash succeeded?
2. If yes: boot into stockrecovery and do factory-reset.
Worked .. thank you both very much i really appreciate that
