As far as I understand his first problem , SMS and Ringtones sounds don't work . even though the volume is at 100. And rest of the sounds work fine.
Secondly since kies installation his pc doesnt recognize the phone , even re installation of kies did not help.
Well for first question it may be due to glitches with ROM or faulty installation or maybe some weird app with weird settings enabled.
And for second kies problem , this again pretty random. I guess you should try and install a different ROM or the stock ROM as suggested above
sent from the state where marijuana is NOT illegal!
In the stock rom it still works fine, ringtone and sms but doesn't in slimbean.
In the cyanogenmod doesn't work the led but ringtone works
I'm back at stock this time and all works fine .

If you run a custom Rom, first kies won't work, two kies is useless, three it's useless, and for, it's useless.
Concerning your sound issue, general q & a is not the right place, see in slim bean thread.

And make sure your question has not been answered before...

but the image doesn't help much...except for the fact that you aren't having network signal
or you rather wanted to say the black screen is the problem?
provide more info about the rom you are flashing and the rom you are coming from

Hi guys. I have the Green screen camera bug, and I cannot find a solution, getting desperate now.
I'm running Android 4.1.2, stock German DBT rom, baseband I9300XXELL4, and problem occured after I uninstalled ExynosAbuse.apk, and disabled exploit before that.
The solution here doesn't seem to work. I mean, at least I think I did it right - I just moved lib to lib folder with rootexplorer and restarted device. But didn't know where the META-INF folder is located, so I didn't put it anywhere. No effect.
Anyway same thing happened to me as it did to user "Xelasarg"
Still doesn't work.
But I found out another funny thing: if I switch to "Low light" mode (hope that's what it's called in English, I'm on German locale), everything's fine. Switching back to default mode results in green screen again.

The green screen has to do with the exploit. Why don't you just try flashing the later firmwares on odin. LLA or LLC should do the trick. They fix the exynos bug so you shouldn't need exynosabuse

I'm on Xiaomi Mi A1 and I got this issue when calling the camera from any app like WhatsApp and indeed the trick with the flash works for me. If the flash fires, the photo is fine. If the flash is either disabled or on auto but does not fire, the green frame is shown. So I always keep the flash on and if I don't need the extra light I simply block it with my finger

Alucard i know you offered a lot in the ace community but don't spam it's not his fault for not being able to use the search... (/sarcasm)
Use search ffs... And safest way to flash kernel is via Odin. Here is the file for Odin
https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=68fa...#cid=68FAEF65039E2178&id=68FAEF65039E2178!286
use the E3 file and follow these steps.
1.Install Samsung Drivers From here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11633550
2. Install Odin
3. Open phone in download mode hold power+volumeup+volume down then press volume up to enter download mode
4. open odin insert kernel file in the pda section plug in phone and click start there is a youtube video somewhere i think search it
USE SEARCH......

When he even cant use search how in gods name he will be able to install a KERNEL?

Well if you installed LSJ... Then you Need LSJ root... For rooting your device
And if you are getting a yellow triangle after rooting then you need triangle away
If you want to install a custom rom then u need root box and GApps singed
By the way when there are much better official rom available why are u installing LSJ?

Hello
Just flashed xCORx Rom 3.5 for my S3 (its a modified 4.1.2 Stock ROM deodexed)
Now i have no Camera Sound, no Sound on Focus or Shutter or something else...
I used Root Explorer to see if the Soundfiles are still at the right place (system/media/audio/ui) but there all on the right place with the right permissions...
Now i ask if i can just flash the Original 4.1.2 Stock Camera with CWMR or does anybody know a resolution for me?
THX for your HELP!!!
