After upgrading to jelly bean 4.2
I m getting these lines on the back ground of the call log screen.
Any 1 know what's the problem???

its the only problem in 4.2.1
AFAIK or i heard that 4.1.2 had two versions and the people facing this problem its because of updating to 4.2 without updating perfect version of 4.1
That's why we r facing such screen issues.
May be this issues will be automatically fixed in 4.3 update.

Will the cavas hd get 4.3 upgrade?

yes it will b upgraded to 4.3....

I recently updated my Samsung Galaxy S2 to Jelly Bean with JRO03H AOSP ROM and I cant seem to find the wifi direct option, is this rom lacking this or am I missing something.

no the same is not still wrk'ng on JB based roms's for now, may be coming updates on JB will address the same, so u have to wait or rewert to ICS for the time being if its important for u

I only can say that it worked on RootBox, so in generall it's not a prob with 4.2 cam.
So I think it's just a bug or compatibly prob from samsung release. Over this the 4.2 apps aren't stable at all, too.
So u can choose for urself what u prefer now

the leaked stock JB is a test version and has lots of bugs, and also the stock framewrk doesn't support the 4.2 cam

Android 4.1 jb is available, flash it n enjoy..4.2 is a small upgrade over 4.1, just wait till it us ported by devs..won't be a long time for sure

Now is Android 4.2.1 available to download. It's so fast and smooth, try it.

I updated my CHD to 4.2.1 using SP Flash tool and had a display issue as seen in screenshot. There are illuminated dots on lines which are light colored. Post this I downgraded it back to 4.1 and there was no display issues at all.
I have tried installing various ROM's to see if the same issue persists
Stock 4.1 - No issue
Lewa OS - No Issue
Stock 4.2 - Display Issue
SAMHD v3 - Display Issue
I attached the image of same . Let me know if you have any insights or way to solve the display issue. Also what is the cause of this.
PS: I have read about screen flicker issues on upgrade to 4.2.Mine is not the Flicker issue
No such problem faced yet i m on 4.2.1 stock rom...

not the p[art of this issue...but have you rooted n experienced blackscreen bug after rooting......(i experienced it n unwantingly unrooted it...no issues from niw...but i want rooted device...)

I faced no issues when i rooted CHD
Have the same problem.
It isn't seen ij screenshot..
Bt its a problem
But i think so its problem coz when i flashed to 4.2.1 the TP upgrade didn't took place and dats the reason why we are facing problem.

I am still facing the blackscreen bug, i tried many roms like samHD, starkHD, jellyxperia, Stock updated rom from forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2426034 which is my current rom , still facing the issue...
any solution ...please...

It also happens in sgalaxy rom also.....
If u r using stock rom then try x-reality engine.... It removes that issue...

The colors in some apps seems totally saturated!

did you used any app for changing something at the screen , color , density etc...
cuz i never heard of this problem before

I don't think it's hardware problem it didn't appears until installing the rom and I saw someone suffers from this problem after using the same rom

i'm just surprised to hear that this problem happened to other men using v5.5 , in fact v5.5 isn't so stable , that's why i did my best to make v6 stable as rock
