Best thing to do now is reflash your phone with flashtool. If same problems will be after reflashing it means that can be hardware problems maybie.

And you will need to put your phone into flashmode. To do so turn off your phone then when holding volume key down connect usb to phone. Then computer should detect it and you will be able to flash

It's been quite a while, but I didn't care so far. My notification tone stops working say after 2 hours after the reboot of my phone [works as soon as the phone is rebooted - for 2 hours!]. I tried setting a notification tone that's in the SD card, still it doesn't work. I have munjeni's custom ROM and as far as I remember, it never worked for more than two hours in my phone even before the ROM update. Is this is fixable?
Device: Xperia Go ST27i, Bootloader Unlocked, Rooted.
Thanks,
B.

That's the problem. I can't get the .154 FTF from anywhere. I have another thread in this forum asking for one!
I experienced this problem just this month. on the 3rd and 4th time this happened, I somehow found out how the problem starts and how to solve it.
Usually, when I play music using my headphones, and at the same time I receive some text messages, the notification sounds and even the music cannot be heard(but audible through headphones).
I tried this unusual method, on the first time this problem occurred. Actually, I did it out of nowhere. On the second time, I did it accidentally again, but only after 2 hours when the problem occured. But in the 3rd and 4th time, I prepared for it. Here's how it works:
First, remove the back cover of your xperia go, exposing the speakers.
Then, gently tap the exposed speakers few times, 2-3 will do. tap the exposed speakers directly.
Put back the cover again. Put your phone on Normal mode (if it is on silent or vibrate mode), and check your notification sounds, e.g. lock sounds, music, message tone.
P.S. If ever this one worked on your xperia go, please post it on other forums and tell it to other people that are experiencing this problem.
Also, I only know how this happens and how to solve it. but I don't WHY this happens. Gotta notify Sony. thanks!

No it doesnot require unlocked bootloader.
First select the .ftf you want to flash in flashtool. It will start preparing the files. After 10-15 sec,it will ask you to connect your phone in flashmode.
How to enter flashmode:
Power off your phone.
Connect your phone to PC with volume down button pressed.
It will enter into flashmode.

With unlocked bootloader, you can flash custom kernels. These make your phone fast and smooth and can increase battery life.
You can always root your phone with unlocked bootllader.
And the BIGGEST pros of unlocked bootloader is you can flash "Jelly Bean" which is almost fully functional and stable for daily use.

Hi guys.
My ST18i is not going to Flashmode.
I recently had the problem that my Ray wasn't detecting USB but then I gave it to Service and they flashed stock GB.
I can get to fastboot only by adb and not by buttons. Flashmode has no adb command so I can't get in.
Bootloader is unlocked. My volume keys are not faulty since they work in Android.
Since I am already posting here. I have to tell you after getting my phone from service, front camera is entirely black and cannot take photos.
Please help!
