She's using a Samsung Galaxy mini 2 (GT-S6500) and I successfully rooted it and tried to flash another firmware.
But then, it failed so I decided to unroot it but, as soon as I get to recovery mode (CWM recovery v5.0.2.8), there I go stuck.
Been trying to find a solution for almost 7 hours straight now but I can't find one. Tried exit recovery files too but didn't work out. It's just turning me back to the recovery mode and it's so annoying. I'm stuck in cwm recovery v5.0.2.8 and can't get on download mode. What should i do? Need an expert. My sister is phone-less right now. >:
Bump-
Try flashing recovery 5.0.2.7

If you still go into clockwork recovery you can flash a nandroid backup than everything will be as previously.
Have you made a backup of your stock firmware before flashing a new one?

I have an s2.I want to avoid making a nandroid backup. So, if the flashing of a custom rom fails or after, flashing, the phone gets stuck at the boot logo, can i just flash the stock rom directly via odin? Will it harm the phone? Can the phone even go to download mode if its stuck at the boot logo ?

hello,
you could have asked this question in your previous thread instead of creating a new one.
To answer your questions:
1. Yes
# If you follow the flashing instructions in the OP, your phone should not stuck at the boot logo.
First try to perform a factory data reset and reboot again before flashing via Odin
2. No
3. The phone should be able to enter download mode.

I rooted my fone a week ago with TWRP as my recovery mode.. Then I rerooted my fone to replace the TWRP recov with clockworkmod recov.. now I was going through my storage and found out that there is a folder of the old TWRP which takes 1.+Gb.. I was kinda thinking of deleting it.. would it be alright if I just delete it straight or would it affect my current mod if it got deleted..
Currently on cm9.1
Any help would be very much appreciated.. cheers

It has the TWRP backups.
Don't think I would really need my backup in that one as I've backed my system up using the clockworkmod before flashing cm9

ALCATEL (and MTK Devices in general) usually have locked boot loaders making it impossible to enter fast boot or recovery without OS level access. Have fun with your new paperweight (jk)
