SONY XPERIA Tablet S - Factory / Hard reset
There are two ways to perform Factory Reset:
Metod 1:
Open "Settings", tap "Backup & reset", "Factory data reset"
The tablet will restart automatically.
Metod 2:
Power of the tablet. Pres and hold the Power On key and the Volume Up key at the same time.
When you see the Sony logo release the Power On button but continue to press the Volume Up button.
Now you are in the Android recovery menu.
Use Volume keys to scroll and the Power On key to select.
From the options select:
"Reset to Factory Settings" and "Yes - erase all user data".
The tablet will restart alone.

[Q] My phone went crazy...

So, I flashed the newest update, and everything seemed to go fine. I reactivated it, used it a few times, had some issues with the radio. I updated the profile as was recommended, and things were good. I upgraded the radio again, and now all my phone does is loop at start. I am trying to reflash the update, will this work, or do I need to do something else?
*EDIT*
Update, the reflash failed, though I am not surprised. I received the error that the phone failed to re-enumerate, or something along those lines, anyone have any ideas? Should I take it to sprint and have them fix it?

You will need to go into recovery, power off phone, hold volume down button while pressing power, you should see fastboot, press volume down a few times until you see android recovery, press volume up button, will enter android recovery, will see the little android guy on your screen, now press both volume keys together, now volume up and down will scroll through the menu and power will select, select wipe data/factory reset, also wipe cache partition, then select reboot

You will not lose root or brick your phone, this will restore your phone to original settings, like the first time you switched it on.
The same can be achieved by going into settings > Privacy > Factory Data Reset
The other method was because he couldn't even get into his phone!

Hi,
I saw your post, but it was about 2 years ago. I just bought a Sony Xperia Z tablet, but it is stuck in demo mode, what can I please do to restore it factory settings. Does this same process you highlighted applies? Thank you

The post you are referring to is about the Sony Tablet S. Please read the Sony Xperia Tablet Z forum, then post your XTZ problem/questions there and I or someone else will try to provide you with a solution.

Vol Down(-) Button+Home+Power Don't make hard reset on 20C Rooted phone

I want to share something with you for our knowledge!
I'm on P760 Europe 20C Rooted phone
When i forced to be make a hard reset on my phone, the well known combination
(Vol Down(-) Button + Home Button + Power Button) does not work, it goes me on
CWM recovery touch as well Vol Up(+) Button + Home Button + Power Button.
I have tried this method again in the past (as mentioned on a lot of posts) when i was on Europe 20B without
any problems...anyway i solve the problem making a full wipe under CMW.
The reflection here is..if i was not on a rooted kdz rom and be forced to make hard reset what will be the result?
Just choose wipe all user data or factory reset in cwm. It is the hard reset
