In order to have a MiniCM7 you need first to flash the kernel. and before flashing the kernel you have to be rooted and unlocked bootloader.

Do I need to flash the kernel cm6?

If it is safe to unlock the bootloader on your phone. If it isn't you end up with a brick instead of a phone.
Look under your batttery u will find like a 10w29 or 11wxx tell me it

Cm uses fxp kernel .. Most of other kernels are not compatible ... Fxp kernel is included in cm9 zip as boot.img
Sent from my WT19i using xda app-developers app
You can officially download cm9 from the cm site...
The kernel is present in the zip folder with the custom ROM itself... as "boot.img"
Then flash kernel via flashtool and then install Custom ROM via CWM recovery
Sent from xperia mini st15i running CM9
as everyone says CM9 Kernel comes within the rom zip download boot.img :highfive:
Thanks guys

That is a improve speed for jb. You no need to flash again because it was updated inside ROM.
Superman™
Is it already installed in CMX10 v5.1 rom
