Hi all,
I'm very new to this all, and read a lot of your threads.
But still, I haven't got a clue what is wrong.
Earlier this day I was in my recovery (TWRP), and now I can't acces it. (HBOOT - recovery). It just shuts down when I try to acces.
Also , my sd card isnt visible on the PC.
Pff, i'm getting crazy over here, seemed a good idea to root my phone, but bah, can't seem to work it out.
Please help me fellas, thanks a lot.
Peter.

Thanks a lot for the reply man, but can you give some more information?
I'm a noob, a total noob in this.
I only see 4 options:
HBOOT
REBOOT
REBOOT BOOTLOADER
POWER DOWN
Thanks man.
If you see those options you are in fastboot mode.
Now plug in to the computer and open command or terminal.
Make sure you have the adb and fastboot tools from android sdk.
In the cammand window type fastboot erase cache. Wait till it says it's done.
On the phone go to hboot and then recovery.

Thanks man, I did that, but still no succes.
It even shuts my phone down when I try to acces recovery mode.
When I acces my phone, I don't have service nor I can acces wifi (the airplane mode is always on, shutting himself down).
Would be great if I know how to get back to the old system.
Never trying this again hehe
Flash the recovery again and make sure it's the right one. Then try the steps again.

Did you try getting to recovery from the bootloader, if you can't try installing the recovery again by putting the PJ75IMG.ZIP on your sd card then try again and hopefully it works and you have a backup

You need to copy the boot.img of the rom you are flashing to your fastboot folder and then fastboot the boot.img
That happened to me a couple of days ago when I was going from mean rom to viper rom.

After you copied the boot.IMG from the rom folder you are flashing into the fastboot folder, you open cmd if you have windows, cd to your fasboot folder and typed that command to flash the boot.img

Sent from my HTC Desire HD using xda premium

You need to flash the boot.img inside the Rom.zip that you download. Put the whole .zip on your SD card, boot into bootloader, select fastboot, hook up the phone, point to the folder your fastboot files are located and you dropped the boot.img, open a cmd window, and type
cd c:\fastboot and enter, then
fastboot erase cache and enter
fastboot flash boot boot.img and enter
fastboot erase cache and enter
Unplug cable, select hboot/boot recovery, select, then inside recovery install zip from SD card, don't forget to select the wipe option in the aroma installer...
The whole process takes like 20 mins, including download of the ROM, copying the boot.img into the fastboot folder (make sure there is only one boot.img in there...the one you want/need), flashing the boot.img, flashing ROM in recovery and booting up (which takes like a few minutes)
Hope this helps

eh ill try again. I used it last time and all it does is load flash screen goes black screen then goes to a phone with an exclamation mark over it. Then reboots after a minute.
Whenever i try to flash zips over, i keep getting remote unknown 99 fail wtf
when i relock my phone to do it i get remote 42 custom id check fail
OK i have considered it was possibly cause my cid number doesn't match the ones on the thread. My cid is HTC_622
That's normal behaviour for the stock recovery, power + vol up should bring up the menu
or you could try 'fastboot erase data'
or 'fastboot format data'

Hello guys,
I just rooted and unlocked the phone to start trying to install a ROM. I tried to install "Sense.Revolution.R5" but it didn't go well .
I followed every step from the guide ending up installing the ROM from sdcard zip after wiping but it always ended on an error like assert failed: write_raw_image("tmp/boot.img and next line Error in sdcard/Sense.Revolution.R5.zip (Status 7). After that i tried to reboot the phone but it was always on black screen. I went into my bootloader and factory reset but it didn't work (black screen again).
I just want it to be like it was on factory (no ROMS, i'm already done ).
I'm using Clockworkmod v6.0.1.5
HBOOT-1.25.0002
Used AllinOneKit for unlocking and rooting.
Can anyone help me? I'm very noobish . Anything you want me to upload just ask for it!.

Oh okay...i downloaded it already ^^.
TWRP, downloaded (http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/140)
Filename: openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-protou.img
MD5sum: 0ceede5826e18640d6a81451793444ae
What do i have to do now? I mean where i have to put the md5 and img ? and backup of __304? :/
2. Extract the TWRP Nandroid Backup to your desktop and find the folder 2.22.707.6
I don't have that folder. I have 2013-06-23--01-37-10 but someone says it is fine with that "ell your TWRP is for JB
the 2.22.707.6 folder you are looking for is this folder: 2013-06-23--01-37-10 Just extract that inside TWRP/BACKUP/(your serial number)/" so it's ok there i guess.
1- "Copy this folder to your sdcard" 2-"After that go into recovery and restore it and reboot the device. You are back on stock"
I'm lost on those 2 steps. 1- i can't open my sdcard. 2- What do i have to do there :S
Which recovery.img do i have to download from here? -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2099513
EDIT: my folders (TWRP one is the TWRP/BACKUP/YOURSERIALNAME etc)
Ignore all from before, i finally got it
Now i'm on the phone but i have a problem...when i go to the phone memory i have 2,3 GB used and i didn't install or do anything since the mobile is without anything. What could it be? Oo
And another problem...there is an icon called SUPERSU which one i try to open but says "SUPERSU's su binary is not preset, this is a fatal error" i guess this is because i did all of this and it unrooted?
And to end...i don't know what happened but TWRP doesn't open now. I try to do the recovery etc but nothing happens in the bootloader oO
Yeah... By flashing stock ROM you unrooted your phone. To have root again, just flash latest SuperSU in recovery. To have recovery working again, just flash recovery image via fastboot and it should work again. Maybe you accidentally flashed stock recovery while returning back to stock...
