Hi! Im new here and i need some help, (im using mobile) I got an Intex Pulse Tablet and works better but now the charger is not working so i managed to buy a new one, A cheap 5v Pin charger, it works normal until it doesnt work, i need the charger cable to pull, push twist just to charge it. (Sorry for Bad English) then i buy a new one, same product, until it charges slowly like 1% per every 20mins. I find it very hard and shutdown by itself everytime i plug my net stick,
So i replaced my charger into a usb port, but the problem now is its Very Bad Ghost Touch/Multi Touch even though i touch the outside part of the tablet (not the screen) and like Touch Everything even i pinch the camera lens. I Already experience this but not that much. ANYONE CAN HELP ME?

I broke one lapdock (water damage) then bought another which appears to be broken .
New lapdock doesn't,
charge phone
no sound
and no keyboard or touchpad
i opened new and old lapdock, put the new circuit into old to see what would happen, battery charged up and it started working, so fault in circuit to do with the battery. Anyway i then try tried phone and same three probs.
Put new circuit back into new lapdock and then tried old lapdock with old circuit and phone charges and i get sound out but NO KEYBOARD OR TOUCHPAD.
This has me thinking, is there something up with my phone?
I have the HD dock which charges the phone no prob.
Could this be a software prob or is the new lapdock faulty (apparently just the usb port)
thanks

Anybody near leicester want to try and see if it works?
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone had any insights in to this problem I have been having.
Briefly, I have the 4g lte verion on EE's new network. I purchased the official MHL/HDMI adapter which works fine and the video is outputed to my sammy 50inch tv fine. The issue I have is the battery drains while doing so. I belive this may to due to the phone outputting more than it is drawing from the power source. Any thoughts ?
I spoke with Samsung tech and they said a number of people have started to report this issue and they are currently testing/investigating. If this is indeed the case seems a pointless acessory as a long video would possibly drain the whole battery, Im yet to test the full drain time.
Secondly, with a 3rd party docking cradle with spare battery slot which purchased from amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/eLifeStore®-Samsung-Desktop-Charger-Docking/dp/B008PPRGFY) also does not charge phone properly. Even with the orignial charger in the ac port (or usb port) . The phone reports as charging but stays the same or decreases. Charged directly from the socket it is fine. Strange!
Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ian
It's common. Mine did that too! I switched to my old S2 charger, problem solved
Thanks Ill try that out, any idea why that works ?

No idea man? A design fault maybe? All I know is that my phone took for f#*%ing ever to charge with the USB type wall charger. I pulled it out of the socket and plugged my other other one in that was sitting right next to it and it started charging? Checked a few minutes later and it had climbed considerably so I pulled the USB cable out of the new plug and kicked it under the bed where it now lays resting not to be used again LOL.
USB plug/cord works perfectly fine? So I use it on the computer. My laptop even charges the phone via the USB cable faster than the socket plug (which is usually the opposite - as I am sure we are all aware). So yeah I would say poor design or defective wall plug or both or something? Wasn't going to send my phone back because of it. 2second decision problem solved Samsung phone is great!
Im having exactly the same problem.
I have an s3 on orange and have the same mhl adapter conected to my tv.
I have tried the charger from my s3 which does says its charging when I connect my phone but only for about a minute so I also tried using the charger from my s2 and that just does exactly the same.
An easier way is to buy the official allshare dongle for your hdtv then you can stream anything from your phones screen direct to your tv and can have the phone on charge via pc or wall socket at the same time,
Hope this helps
i suggest you throw away your original charger (slow charge) and its usb cable (loose - actually caused the extsd to become damaged to the point i had to repartition) and buy yourself a cheap usb cable for data (£2) and a 3rd party charger (pref not a usb adapter one - £5) and all should be fine!
I still experienced a small battery drain while using the mhl adapter, however, i froze a few apps with titianuim (ones i know run all the time like utter and tasker, paragon ntfs, easy ums, directory bind etc), and put it on min brightness - works like a charm. I know its a effort freezing apps but does the trick with my phone... Since finding that out i actually keep paragon & easy ums frozen till i need them...
just a few thoughts for you....
First of all, it's about a Galaxy SIII from a friend and second, my native language is german, so please be patient with my explanation
His SIII won't charge anymore. In the beginning, he charged it with the normal cable/connector and it needed up to 10 hours to be fully loaded.
I told him he should buy another cable, he did that and it worked out well.
But now, his SIII won't really charge anymore. To be charged, he needed to get a special kind of degree between the cable and the phone etc.
He gave it to me and i used the original cable and an really cheap 0,15mA Connector (From PowerSupply to USB). It charged, but only with such cheap loaders, not with the original ones. This happens even if we change the battery.
Could it be that the USB Port from his phone is broken and wants to have to much power from the charger? So, the original ones detect that and say "no" while the cheap ones just don't care?
What should we do with it? My dad and i could replace the microUSB-Port, but is there any other way to get rid of this?
Thanks mates!
Hello,
I have problem with power connector on the tablet. When charger is plugged in it moves left and right slightly, making rec power light disappear, screen flickering and even continuous tablet restarts.
There are two possibilities:
1. Charger cable is problematic
2. Charging port is problematic (it has 0.8 Nokia like round charger plug).
I do not have spare charger to test, but from what I see, more probable is that charging port is problematic.
So here are questions:
a) Where can i buy such port on e-bay to solder it in place of old one (someone who knows please answer me)
b) Since battery i very weak, can it be ordered somewhere on e-bay or similar site?
c) Is there a way to make tablet work directly plugged in (charger directly connected to mainboard)
d) Your suggestion (other than throwing tablet away, because I know that one on my own)
Thank you in advance.
Hi All,
I recently purchased a Magnetic Charging cable for my Xperia ZU, but the moment I connect it through either Laptop or original sony charger, the phone re-boots. It does charge the phone, but at some particular orientation of magnetic side connection, phone resets.
Anyone else having same issue ? Any solution ?
Thanks

I've read it somewhere that charging the phone the upside down could brick the phone.. reset was the symptom. I have sony magnetic charger and it will not allow me to plug in the other side around. The most i get is the touch screen is not that sensitive after plugging the charger and it will refresh my current running app/game. Been using it ever since i got my device and so far no problem.

Thanks @wtfhax for your reply.
I think it was reverse connection which made phone reset. As I read in the links sent by you, magnetic charging cable is not a good solution then, since it can damage battery. I'll avoid charging with this cable now onwards and will stick with USB charging.
But, I think, this is a bad design from Sony. There should have been a protection in-built for reverse connection as well.
Coz the charging port are never meant for non genuine magnetic cable...
Just be careful if u still wanna use it by marking TOP on it...
Reverse polarity might cause the circuit to malfunction...

hello
its supposed to do that m8 connect the magnetic chargers the wrong way round the the phone instantly resboots
to add..
Faced the same issue myself.
To add to this, ever since I have used the magnetic charging cable, my screen flickers - dims at times, phone doesnt respond and wat not. Thinking to reset factory or root it out.
Guys, would CYnaogenmod help?

Those problems occur during charging??
I have 1 magnetic charging cable that were bad and it tends to charge n no charge...
Better to use high quality or genuine 1 instead...
My magnetic charging cable pulled the whole port off the side of the phone.
My Sony battery case did the same.
I like the ultra but it is not built to last.

there is if you look at the contacts on your phone you'll see the contact on the right is more oval and the cheapo charger cables don't have the facility to detect the difference.
