HI,
I rooted the device, saved the DRM Key. Unlocked the Bootloader with the Sony Method and installed boot.img with the bootloader.
I put the Cyanogemod.zip (CM10.2) before rooting, after rooting my device formated the internal card. I didn't recognize.
Now i am stuck in CWM without a CM.zip to install.
Sideloader do not work, because my PC didn't find the drivers.
Mount external sd card do not work, too.
HELP!!!!

Quick question everyone. How do I, and how should I format sd card for flashing GB rom from kaos froyo?
seems that most people have had good luck booting to recovery, mounting usb in recovery, formatting sd from computer, disconnect usb from recovery, then flash whatever rom you want.
I used the format option in recovery and formatted mine that way then connected to my pc and mounted usb to copy the rom and gapps to my sd card and flashed while still in recovery.

I did this exact same thing.
Thanks guys!
I'd like to note that I have all sorts of junk on my SD card, and haven't had a problem with any GB ROM yet.
BUT...I use Clockwork Mod through ROM Manager, which when wiping data, wipes the .android-secure folder, which is most likely anyone's trouble if they "merely" use Amon RA's wipe data option, which does not wipe .android-secure.
when i boot to recovery in the phone it tells me to reformat the sd card from adb. how do i do that?

Afraid an ADB expert will have to answer that, I've never had that problem.
After successfully using Pete's Tools to Root my Atrix 4g I unlocked the Boot-loader and all is working well. However, I am trying to mount my SD card in recovery mode but it keeps throwing me a error saying it can't mount the card. I am trying to do a backup in recovery mode but can't seem to find out how to get it to mount the SD card so I can flash roms etc. Any help would be great!
Edit- Yes, the PC does recognize the device when connected.
hi,
I made the same mistake - fomat my internal sd card to ntfs.
I have cm-9-20120618-NIGHTLY-galaxys2.zip install on my galaxy s2.
i tried to reformat to fat32 through pc and recovery mode in both case
the internal sd card not mount.
I read in Atrix 4G forum that Fastboot erase sdcard.
I dont know if bootloader is install and how to boot device into bootloader.
can anyone please guide my how to "Fastboot erase sdcard "?
or any other solution we be welcome..

I saw it already, but it didnt understand:
"Boot device into bootloader"
how can i do it?
what i have to install in order to do it?
I had the same problem with my i777. I found a quick and painless way:
- backup everything you want to keep
- flash a fresh stock rom using Odin
- voila
Thank you
You're a genius!
No one knew the answer but you!!
Many thanks!!
Hi guys,
My SD card got corrupted before flashing a rom, so I'm a bit stuck (I can access the CWM menu, the kernel is fine).
So I formatted the card to FAT32 (tried other formats) but when I try and flash an update.zip from it I get
E:Can't mount /sdcard/
So I'm thinking, are there some files missing from the SD card that CWM/android need to interact with it? I can imagine these files were wiped when I did a format. Like superuser files or something? You know also, those hidden files beginning with '.'
I've tried all the usual methods like formatting using SDFormatter and stuff - still, CWM can't see it (my computer can if USB is mounted). Am I right in thinking I need some kind of system files on the SD card?
Any help?
Thanks in advance
the best would be paid copy a rom sd card and flash, or flash a rom stock also either ics or gb and see if there cel recognize SD can not think of anything else. :highfive:
Ok, I guess I'll try that if there's nothing else. If I flash an official .ftf with Flashtool will I need to do anything to my bootloader (currently unlocked)?
Edit: I've been reading around and it seems almost certain that my sd card just needs some vital files on it for CWM and android...
Try by simply reflashing any kernel with cwm if your sd card is readable from pc it is not corrupted, it's more likely somethign wrong with cwm, you should be able to fix reflashing kernel which shouldn't be much of a prob since you have unlocked bl

Hey nice idea, but I tried that earlier and multiple kernels give the same error - it can't be CWM, it must be the SD card (or what's not on the SD card).
Edit: I've tried chkdsk and formatting to a variety of systems using a variety of partition managers, nothings works, my phone just can't mount the SD.

First backup your nandroid backup (if you have one) in a secure place (not the sdcard)
Put your sd card on some other android phone with cwm and format it from the cwm mount/storage option.
if you don't have a nandroid backup skip the next two steps.
mount the sdcard in your computer and create two folders in the sdcard (a folder inside a folder) name the parent folder as "clockworkmod" and child as "backup" .
Put your nandroid backup in /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/
Now put the Rom zip file you want to flash in the root of the sd card
Power down your phone.
Put the memory card in your phone
Boot into cwm and try to flash the rom.
If the second step fails with "error mounting sd card" try with another memory card or with another phone.

Hi, I was installing a ROM and I formated /system and rebooted but the ROM didn't work it repeatedly said process android sopped or something like that, so I rebooted to CWM recovery and was going to restore from my external SD card but there wasn't an option for that there was an option to restore from internal SD card but it said no files found so now i'm in cwm recovery and when I try to reboot the samsung logo appears and disapears constantly and nothing happens. The CWM recovery version is 6.0.4.4. I have the restore file on my PC. Is there any way I can send it to internal SD card? I can't access it even on my computer because the phone isn't fully booted. Please help me
