whenever the keyboard is open i get a keyboard notification in statusbar which is to select input method i have already done so but still getting it annoying much running stock LF2 and not rooted using swiftkey3
That notification is to change keyboard.
You cannot get rid of it without rooting. The only ROM I even know of which can disable it is CM9...
:-(

Actually, i got rid of it! but with a "side-effect"
you go to applications menu
and you Disable applications that listen to you (like google voice search)
and then it dissapears
but the problem is, if you use voice assistants this gets in your way

He just said disable voice search. Find voice search under settings>apps and disable it. It will just come back if you ever install another keyboard, and you can't use voice.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
If you mean voice command have already disabled it and there isn't any option to turn voice search on or off.

I got this app Light Flow, and i find it very useful, but i got an annoying issue when i'm opening the folder, it play sound like "Folder is opend" "Folder is close" ...
Any suggestion, or any other application?
U had that problem too, you can't turn that off, the developers have to sort that out, that is if they want to. I liked that app but the vioces really pissed me off

So, is there any application that do the same function?

If you're using TouchWiz you can't remove that. but use other launcher that will disappear.
After i uninstalled the app, i don't have sounds any more... but i want the other app, that can do the same thing

I found the solution:
For those who wants to try it do the following with your Samsung S3: - Go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Talkback "ON" - Select "Settings" from the bottom of the page - Uncheck all Talkback options - Switch Talkback "Off" again - Go back to Settings -> Application manager -> All - Disable Google TTS (text to speech) - Disable Samsung TTS (text to speech)

You're freaking awesome, I don't know why I and others haven't thought about that earlier!

Is their such a thing as Invisible Mode in whatsapp? And can it be done per contact ?
By Invisible mode I mean that no one can see if I'm online and can't see the last time I was online.
**Hope this is the right place for this question
No, there isn't.
Ok, maybe their is an option to prevent from people to send me messages when the only sign for that will be the second green tick?
I can think of using droid wall to block internet traffic for that app if you are rooted
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Xparent SkyBlue Tapatalk 2
I don't want to block the app just specific people traffic...
Does anyone know how to turn off the annoying "page is loading" "page is loaded" sounds in the browser?
No one else has this problem? If your not hearing it. Turn your media volume up as you browse the web in "internet" (not chrome).
I'm guessing you have lightflow installed? It is a known issue. I just use chrome, no issues there. Other options include turning lightflow off.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using xda app-developers app
I have the same issue. It does it in the corporate email app when you check/uncheck mail too. Very annoying. It has to do with lightflow's accessibility options AFAIK.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
Or use light manager instead of lightflow

I was having this problem after installing a dash clock extension. i had to disable talkback. There seems to be a bug where if you attempt to enable the anydash extension, it also enables talkback.
Hi,
My Google Calender doesn't give any push notification or POPUP. The only reminder or notification I'll get is from Google mail.... But I want from the Google calender.
Do you guys have it also?
How to solve this?

Working fine for me. Try going to the Calendar App Permissions and see whether Calendar is enabled or not. Or maybe you forced stop it by any chance?

When I first got the phone there was no notifications at all messages, Gmail, calendar, weather. I changed the theme a few times with deep black theme from here, and other's, now I am getting all the notifications. I'm not sure if messing with the theme fixed it or it just started working.

I get an on screen notification at the set reminder time, then it stays in the notification shade until cleared. Nothing used to do this at first it was rather annoying with SMS if you were in an app because I wouldn't even get the notification sound the only way I knew I had any notifications from anything was only if I went to the homescreen and saw icon badges.
Now everything pops up at the top for a few seconds with the sound and stays in the shade.
The only two things I've done is played with the theme and fonts, I'm not using the default font or official theme's from the theme store.

Once you download move or copy the hwt file to huawei/themes folder. Then go to the theme store and apply from my themes.
For fonts I downloaded huawei font manager from playstore and used one from there. The only issue with playing with fonts is sometimes a themed app like huawei music player occasionally loses its background colour reverting back to stock. Weird.
If this doesn't work, I'll dig through my calendar settings see if you have anything different than mine.

Don't have either of those, just wondering if you have these links in open defaults. Shouldn't have anything to do with notifications.
Have you tried this?
Turn off notifications for another calendar app
Open the Google Calendar app .
In the top left, tap Menu .
At the bottom, tap Settings .
Select one of your calendars, like Events.
Under "Default notifications," tap your current notification.
Choose a time period for device notifications, or tap No notification.
If you go into Settings/Apps - 3 dots 'show system processes' Find Android System & Notification Management, there's tonnes of notifications in there. One in mine is Heads Up notifications.
See if any of these can help.

I switched to Samsung S10 plus, so I don't know what you can do now.
Too many issues with the mate 20, uncertainties over android updates etc.
Best thing I did Samsung S10 plus is way better. Notifications are perfect and multi window pop up is fantastic. Messages, Calendar, Emails all come in bubbles and can open in popup windows. Can be reduced to bubbles on screen. See screenshots.
