Hi there all,
Thanks in advance for looking,
Please forgive me I am a complete novice when it comes to Android phone
I have a chinese dual sim with android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, as main stream manufactures dont make Android dual sim phones.
I have routed the phone useing superoneclick.
I have been loking for a way to do a total back up of the phone to preseve it.
I have downloaded titanium back up pro and clock recovery mod as well as droid X recovery.
My problem started when I used the "fix permissions" option in droid X which proceeded to over write my system resulting a expensive brick.
now my phone won't start. It keeps booting up in a loop and I cannot get to the recovery to wipe the memory and start again.
Its locked in a loop trying to boot up.
I have read on the forum that it is possible to re-flash through the sd slot on the phone.
1) Is this possible with my mobile?
2) If so what software do I use ?
3) A good simple guide in the process would be a must as I am complete novice.
4) Please bear in mind that this is not a mainstream phone.
this may help you
Hi chunky2
B63M is a good dual sim Android phone.
There is an italian team working on B63M on technoforum dot it.
They have developed some good roms, use google translate and flash a new rom.
You have to update the BOOT Recovery (it is very easy, just follow the info on the site) then go in recovery mode and flash the new rom you have downloaded, all ones are better then the original one.
Good luck
I've bourght a tablet online:
off ebay, can't post link as this is first post
And because it was slow i did try to install a custom Rom. this didn't work, and I didn't backup my exsisting (dooh).
So now I've flashed FaaaastJB v2 and v2.5 both have the same problem, they either hang on the first/second or android logo, or they boot up, but I can't detect any USB, ofc no screen and stuff as this is not installed.
So what can I do now, I really need help with this, have tried multiple diffrent Roms, and the only one that worked was the faaastJB's, but they have these problems..
Hope some of you can answer my questions
Hi All,
I've been scouring the internet and found a few ROMs that partially work with the Hipstreet Pilot I'm trying to revive. The first one I found on needroms is supposedly stock, however the screen is white on boot.
I've tried multiple others using the same MT8163 chipset and some boot, some don't, but most either end up with a broken touch screen or the accelerometer is the wrong way up.
Does anybody have one that could take a backup using spflash or does anyone have a ROM that they know might work?
Thanks!
