first off, a few facts...
i have android sdk
i have the samsung vibrant drivers installed
i have odin
AND
i have the new JI2 build flashed
well, i installed the new kernel (not realizing that it isnt for the new firmware), and i got stuck on the Vibrant screen.
now i cant get into recovery to use a nandroid backup AND i cant get into download mode.
ive tried using sdk while at the Vibrant screen but i keep getting a "Device not found" error
(taking into consideration that im hardware locked) does anyone know any possible way to either get into download mode or recovery?
this is my second vibrant with the 1st's internal screen cracking >.<
Hello.
I bought a motorola Atrix few weeks ago. Guy who sold me a phone unlocked a bootloader, Rooted a phone ...he done all stuff including putting in a Dark Side PreFinal CROM.
I updated phone to Nottachtrix4G build from AT&T 4.5.141 release.
I had version 2.2.Everything was worked fine but phone seems to be hanging and i noticed version 2.5 with that bad installer and i couldn`t install ROM because of it.
Then i wanted to put in a Neutrino ROM V2.5. I putted a ROM file on my 32GB SD card and running through Android Reovery i geted working Neutrino but it woulds get any addons properly installed so i decided to put same ROM on Internal Memory and then Bang.
Its seems to that whole process in Android Recovery went OK but when now i getting a restart loops when i switching on a phone. It gets past the Red M and reboot.
When im trying to go into Android Recovery then i got black screen. I can`t charge a phone due to Loop Restarts. Any help ?.
I heard that i can use SBF File to recover a phone but im afraid to get it HARD Bricked if its rooted and unlocked.
Hi, my father has a Telechips 8902 based tablet (It's absolutely horrible!)
I decided I would put CM7 on it for him using the build at http://androtab.info/telechips/firmwares ..
I flashed it through Fastboot, however CM won't boot at all.. Just stays at the Android boot animation,
I've already tried formatting the data partition to no avail..
I've ran and uploaded logcat to http://pastebin.com/q4fdWfT7 and continues at http://pastebin.com/3xcia9Qs
Could someone who knows what they're doing have a look and see if they know whats wrong?
I'll be eternally grateful
Thanks
Is there any way at this time to dual boot between roms. I know there is a way to dual boot the android ubuntu but i just want to swap between roms. I attempted to search the forums but did not locate anything reguarding dual booting. Thanks.
Hello ! I'm new here and apparently I can't find the right section for my thread, I hope this is the right one, if not I'm very sorry.
I have a Jiayu G3 that won't boot in Android and apparently not in CWM either. I kinda did a lot of "upgrades" so please bare with me , here it goes (I just wanted to upgrade it to Jelly Bean).
I originally had 4.0.3 (stock/unrooted) then I rooted it using Binr4y's root method. Then I "installed Jelly Bean" from this video and then it started a boot loop then went on and on so I tried another rom and found this one RAW MOD B3, this one didn't worked either still looped on and on, so I tried finding a fix and came up with this Lewa Recovery 2.0 for JIAYU G3 so I flashed Lewa Recovery image with CWM and now to my surprise I can't even boot to CWM anymore.
I also installed before the Lewa Recovery Flash, White Google Logo.
So now my situation is kinda like this:
- I should have RAW MOD B3.
- I can't boot into Android it loops on and on at the logo.
- I can't boot into CWM either it also loops on and on.
- I don't really know how to boot into TWRP or Lewa.
Any help small as it is, is very much appreciated. Thank you for taking your time and reading about my problem and once again sorry if I have posted in the wrong section.
Solved
I fixed my phone, I went to some people who repair android phones it cost me 20$ (not much), they said that the USB method wasn't working so they tried with a device called BOX from Samsung who apparently rewrites the rom. It works as in the first day, also I don't see any screws being used to I think they didn't need to acces the mainboard, but I could be wrong.
