I have a rooted Sony Tablet S on 4.0.3 R5A and tried to use this Flasher to update my device to Jelly Bean 4.1.1 but after doing everything that the Flasher told me to and rebooted my device nothing happened.
My Tablet is still on 4.0.3 R5A
What did I do wrong?

You tried to install an OS that is not compatible with the Sony Tablet S. Sony's Jelly Bean 4.1.1 (and 4.1.1r2) is for the Xperia Tablet S only. Sony has not released Jelly Bean for the Sony Tablet S, and probably never will. 4.0.3r5a is the latest and perhaps last release for the Sony Tablet S.

There are no custom ROMs currently available for the Sony Tablet S, Sony Tablet P, or Xperia Tablet S.

That's sad. I think Sony consider Tablet S as a failure. After they released Xperia they completely abandoned Tablet P and S

I believe the Sony VAIO group jumped into water leagues over their heads when they released the original Sony tablets. It is obvious that when it comes to Android-based products, they simply do not have the necessary talents. If the Sony Mobile group had instead released the STS, STP, and XTS, the tablets would not have so quickly seen end-of-life and piss-poor development and support. If there is any future for the STS, STP, and XTS, it is in the hands of the consumers, into which Sony VAIO should place a method to unlock the tablets' bootloader. I am, of course, not holding my breath for that to happen.
Hi,
Because I have a question about S.onyTablet.S v3.0 [FLASHER], i'll just use this thread.
I have a Sony Tablet S with stock ICS 4.0.3 R5a and I was thinking to use S.onyTablet.S v6.5 [ALLinONE] to root and thought that with S.onyTablet.S v3.0 [FLASHER] it would get upgraded to JB 4.1.1.
What really does the S.onyTablet.S v3.0 [FLASHER] on Sony Tablet S if it is rooted with S.onyTablet.S v6.5 [ALLinONE]?
Thanks.

If you have successfully used Condi's ALLinONE and gained root access on your Sony Tablet S running 4.0.3r5a, you have no need to use Condi's FLASHER. There is nothing more FLASHER can give you than what ALLinONE has already given you, 4.0.3r5a with root access. As for updating your Sony Tablet S to 4.1.1, that is a no-go. 4.1.1 is for the Xperia Tablet S only. However, Condi's ALLinONE v6.5 can install some of the apps from 4.1.1 to your Sony Tablet S.

Thanks for the reply. The confusion is because I found a lot of web pages that claim that with the flasher my Tablet S would have JB, but maybe they are talking about Tablet Xperia S.

Your best option is to closely read and implement the update procedures described in THIS THREAD.

Hi all,
So I recently updated to the all new Android Lollipop on my Xperia Z Ultra, however I lost my root permissions in the process. Has there been any release for a root process for 5.01 so far?
Cheers.
I've a Xperia C5 Ultra rooted using kingroot. I'm waiting for Android 6.0 update, but i'd like to know if I unroot (uninstalling kingroot) before the update it will be okay? Greats from Colombia.
