Hello guys,
I recently bought a Chinese Lenovo K900 and it doesn't have Google apps. I manually installed it, but I can't add a google account. I REALLY like to use youtube, as I need my account, but this is getting me stressed out. I don't want to root, as I flashed it according to nikhitanwar's guide

And my wifi, camera, and alot of other things messed up. I DO NOT want to root or flash a custom ROM, but I need to get this installed. I need to safest way to do this, and I'm willing to follow any tutorial as long as it's understandable. Please help.

Hi guys!
Yesterday I have got my ZTE V987...it is really functioning very well but what it annoying for me are those chineze applications...the biggest problem is that I can not start Play Store even I have no problems during the installation...
How can I root my device? What ROM to use (is there any that is stable and includes standard google apps)?
Sorry if this question is too simple for you, I am real beginner and in Montenegro I can not find any good service to do this operation for me...
If it is not to complicated for you, please, describe the whole process to me, what software to use, where to download...etc...just for me to be safe that I will not ruin the phone...also, it will be useful for other newcomers like me for sure

Hi all,
I have bought a ZTE A880 phone. unfortunately, google play is not installed, and when i try to install it, google play store instantly closes.
I have tried almost all rooting tools on the net, but none succesfull.
Do you guys know if there is an english/european ROM for this phone? My hope is that maybe google isnt blocked, if there is such a version.

I've tried of many manner install Google Play and other Google APPs, but i didn't find any accurate instruction that can guide me safely.

Have any of you guys found a reliable way to do this yet? Most of the links or guides I've seen on this so far seem a little be hand wavey in one way or another.
Also, you used kingo root to root it? It wouldn't work when I downloaded the apk, did you have to download it to your desktop?

Did you get it to work with google play? WHat ROM did you use, I'm unsure if I should use the GR3 (model TAG-L--) or the TIT-AL00 ROM.

I'm guessing the guys in this thread have either sorted the problem or no longer need the solution. However, if anyone else is in the same position, I'm just updating to let you know that I (with a lot of help from a friend) have got google play services installed and working on my phone. We used a combination of this thread which is the same process, but the device here is slightly different (TIT, not TAG) and therefore the CWM recovery file never worked on my phone. So using this thread, we were able to find the download TWRP instead (it links to another thread where you can download TWRP).
The entire process if fairly simple.
The hardest part for me was getting the bootloader code. I needed to contact Huawei consumer services (one of the European offices) and explain I needed the code. They told me I needed to contact the Chinese consumer services as that's where I bought the phone, they spoken very little English so it went nowhere fast. I contacted the same European office again and explained I cannot get the code via typing my info into the unlocker webpage, nor through the Chinese office. So they managed to get back to me after a day or so with the code (I needed to send a screenshot of the unlocker page failing to give me the code, along with the other phone info the unlocker page asks for).
Once you have that, just follow the guide for the TIT-AL00 (but with the TWRP recovery linked above). You don't need to root the device if you just want GAPPs. I have the device working with all the google apps etc, and didn't need root access.

I used to read your threads whenever I need any help regarding root or jailbreak phones. Now I got a tablet from Indonesia, which seems to be Samsung but I think it's Chinese because it don't have Google services such as playstore etc, now I want to install GAPPS in it(i have tried to install apk of gapps but it didn't worked), as it is so much difficult to install apks for my nephew who use this tablet. I would like to have complete procedure to unlock it, root it , install recovery and custom rom if it is needed. I'm going to share some pictures of this tablet which might help to identify it.

Is there ANY way to get google assistant & google now on a JSN-AL00A (Chinese rom)?
I don't have a problem with rooting, or paying to get my bootloader code, just wanna know if there is any way to
A) Get rid of a couple of chinese huawei apps (like app gallery)
B) Get Assistant and the Google Now feed

I don't about rooting, but if you want google apps (assistant..etc) then try GMSinstaller.apk

I followed a Youtube guide for installing some google apps, search for honor 8x and Volokin project
For uninstalling apps you don't even need root, I used ADB.
note that I am not skilled in using this, I just tried a bit and it worked out. If you need more help, maybe a more skilled user has more details
