Exchange for HTC One on Verizon - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Question for the masses.
I switched carriers to Verizon 1 month ago and purchased the S 4 on a two year contract. I'm not very impressed with this phone and would like to switch to the HTC One. Has anyone come up with a good way to do this sure selling privately and buying a new one cost?

This is not the right forum for that, go to the market or swappa

If your GS4 is an MDK version and in near mint condition I'll gladly use my upgrade to buy an HTC One for you.

What about phone exchange program?

ive been waiting for a cell phone company to institute a phone exchange program for the people who like to change phones to the latest releases. i figure it would include basically a deductible, which the $ amount would determined on your phones current worth or possible a flat amount such as $150 and your vibrant for the vibrant 4g or something to that affect.
anyone heard anything about cellphone companys talking about this at all? id love it because i certainly can't afford a $600 phone every 6 months. And the costs don't seem to really be getting cheaper for the latest phones.
I know you go to tmobile and you could exchange to a newer phone by giving yours and some money too..

I think best buy is starting a buy back program designed for that reason of new tech coming out so quick.

No you can't. There is no exchange option. You can get discounts on a tiered basis. So its a prorated discount depending on how long its been since your last upgrade.

About to add another line. What's the best deal?

I've seen people on here get this phone for as little as 1 cent. I just found it for 99 at radioshack. Anything better than this as I'm about to pull the trigger?

Check out the AT&T site. I just picked up a refurbished unit for a penny and I was upgrading a line on my family plan so if you are adding a line I don't see why you wouldn't also qualify.

I, too, just added a refurb for my better half.
ATT actually DID charge my credit card $0.01.
Thank you!

Employee where? I work at BB and I got mine on Monday.

Sprint employees normally can't buy new phones right away.
OP - you can have mine. I'm on the DWL, but I still haven't heard from my store. I already got one at Wal-mart last Tuesday.

I work for a company that has a Sprint account and I ordered my EVO LTE the day it was released.
I have SERO-P, and ordered mine the first day they were available after the pre-order. Not sure if that's relevant or not...
My wife used to work for sprint. Employess have to wait a few months so regular customers have first dibs. It is unknown exactly when the Evo LTE will launch for employee accounts. My wife and I are on SERO-P, which is not an employee account, thus i was able to get the phone on last Saturday's official launch...

Best place to sell rezound

Title says it all. I have a basically new certified preowned htc rezound used for 4 days while waiting on my gs3. Where would be the best place to sell. I am keeping the earbuds but have 3 tpu cases, oem extended battery and oem standard battery, both backs, original box and unopened charger. What would be a fair price, device is flawless.

Right now they are going from anywhere between $160 and $250. I got mine for $220 in July with an extended battery and an otterbox in perfect condition.
I've always had good luck on Craigslist.

I'd advise using Swappa. I've done all of my buying and selling from there and have never had any problems.
Thanks a bunch. Gonna list it on swappa in the next few days

Second Swappa. Bought and sold there with no issues.

I've also been considering this and thanks to shrike I will be using swappa. I'm going to try for a local sale for a day or two and then will go with swappa as long as I can get a decent price for it.
Only reason I haven't listed it is because I've been on vacation. But however I sell mine, if I get enquiries from someone that I don't sell mine to or after selling mine I will send you a PM and if you like I'll send them your way.

I just sold my wifes Rezound on Swappa. Nice and easy transaction.
Just bought a Gnex on Swappa and it was a very easy transaction.

My brother traded in my old hero for the promo. Still waiting on HTC to send the refund tho. Got the 'your HTC Trade Up refund for your old phone is on its way! You should receive it within 30 days' email over three weeks ago. Kinda hoping I get it any day now.

Looks like sprint is launching their own one year trade in program, like t-mo you pay installments for device.

Problem is that you end up paying for more than one phone and only get to keep one... Sorry I'll wait the six months. My upgrade is active every 18 months.

20 unless you have a special plan

Saw this too. Nothing on the market at least via Sprint makes it worth my dime. Figure if you're going to pay that much for an upgrade, you want the best. Considering ditching HTC with a few of you unless they can get their act together. I like the company, but I desperately hope that they (being HTC, not Sprint) don't go bankrupt.
I got my EVO in December for a dollar, so I suppose I can wait for a new phone until August 2014.

Hmmm, maybe I misread it. It looked to me like you only have to hand over current device if you starting into one up from a position of not being currently eligible for upgrade, early adopter cost, essentially.
