Guys my a110 currently running on jelly bean 4.1.1.. How can i root it and any other custom roms to increase performance.. Lastly can i install jellybean 4.2.2.

Jellybean 4.2.2 is not officially available. A very Pre-Alpha version is available which is not recommended for newbies.

Finally after several emails to micromax i got 4.2 update for my a116 near my locality (initially they asked me to travel 100kms from my home) at a service centre.
After getting my glossy a116 updated to 4.2 i want to root the phone. But as its micromax and very little amount of earthlings are proud owners of such a cheap phone so i couldnt get much developers or rooting info about the phone though xda has some rooting tutorial but all those are for 4.1.
Any idea any1 as how to root A116 having 4.2 stock rom?
Or just the A116 4.1 rooting tutorial will work?
and anyone rooted their A116 4.2 phone? or any problem in rooting A116 4.1?

can anybody tell me how to start daydream in micromax canvas 2 plus . it has jellybean 4.2.
please help i can't find any option to start the daydream service in display settings.

we've seen many canvas 2 roms working for this device through patches , but it would b really helpful if they make a rom for this devie only for the camera doesn't work on canvas 2 roms.

I am new here, I don't know this is the right place to ask but..,..
I have micromax a114 device.....
And I want to flash micromax a116 stock rom to micromax a114 using sp flash tool......
I see many similarities between both these model a114 and a116 respectively.......
My question is. Does it will brick my device????
If yes! Than why it will brick????
If no! Than should I flash it????

no brother u cannot flash a116's stock simply.....your device has Mediatek MTK6582M.
n we have MTK6589 so either u cross port or u use mtk6582M based ROMs btw micromax has released android 5.0 for this same chipset phone...better to use those
