System Process is NOT RESPONDING - Micromax A116

Guys,
I have Manually upgraded my OS from 4.1.2 to 4.2.1. From the day I have upgraded it, I am getting a peculiar error msg "System Process is NOT RESPONDING - "Wait or OK"
After this msg for some days, my Phone stop showing anything on the screen & then again I have to do the RE-Process of Upgradation.
Has anyone got this problem, if Yes then what is the solution for the same???
URGENT Help Needed.....
Cheers

First of all, you have posted in the wrong section.
Regarding the issue, Did you make a fresh install? If not, I suggest you make a fresh install.
1) Wipe Data/Factory reset
2) Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache
3) Mounts & Storage > Format System... then install. It should be fine.

Replying them is not going to work. Even moderators dont read all threads for this kind of intimation. You need to PRESS that Triangle ICON to "Report Post" and send PM, which directly goes to concerned moderator and he replies you back quickly too and moves the thread. I just did report this.

Confusing post but a guess says you are looking for the extended power menu .
First question is have you actually read the instructions and whats in the rom post .
Guess not and that's why their is a minimum post in dev section .
So read them and download the mod as per instructions .
Extended Power Menu - available in Omega Files
If you have actually downloaded and installed and its not working do it again .

like i have understood he has problem with power button.
OT try to flash any firmware via odin and check if power button is working.
If you cant go to download mode maybe try with mobile odin or with usb jig
do what the developer says ::indie::
* Confusing post but a guess says you are looking for the extended power menu
- I Don't get a menu at all when pressing and holding power button..
* First question is have you actually read the instructions and whats in the rom post
- Of course i've read through the instructions, i read all uppdates and posts daily.
* Guess not and that's why their is a minimum post in dev section
- See last question
* So read them and download the mod as per instructions
- I've been on Omega since release 5.2, and i dont need instructions of how to download and install a rom, else i would have asked for that

Wiped cash + dalvik + flashed theme = no difference
Wiped cash + dalvik + flashed the other theme = Now it works :victory:

Kinda strange, might try to replicate the problem later..
Thx for the hints! :good: :good:

Judged by your initial lack of detail post the facts missing that you had downloaded xxx etc via Omega what other sort of reply do you really expect but the very basics .Plus that rom is more than any rom getting a vast number of users who fail to read the instructions .

[Q] (Help needed)

Hi Gurus,
As I am not allowed to post in the original thread, thus I am asking my question here.
this is the actual thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1742493&page=8
I am using stock Samsung ICS firmware (DXLP9) beforehand, rooted using CF root. Yesterday I tried this rom and encountered some issues.
1) After flashing this ROM, i didn't do a wipe (i guess there is no need to as per the title)
2) I notice only applications installed on phone memory will appears on the desktop, I mean on the "Downloaded App" tab itself. Apps installed on SD card will not be shown. Why is this so? Did I miss out something?
3) the Music app will FC when selecting the "End" options to close this program
I have reverted back to my original settings.
Could someone help me? thanks
Even a noob who flashed multiple times would know, it is crying for a wipe.
Haha yes do a factory reset and try again.

i am really a noob cos I flashed only once. you know, it can be very confusing and 'life threatening' for noob like me as some ROM requires flashing of kernel while some don't need, I have been reading till i give up. then there is this bootloader thing. Frankly speaking i also don't know what's the version of bootloader my set is using.
So for all ROMs I installed, I will do a wipe (factory reset, wipe davik cache etc). Is that correct?
thanks
YES

Xperia Pureness - Locked Bootloader (not working, currently)

Hi ThilinaC!
I wrote you a PM because I can't write a post in the developers forum yet (newbie). But your inbox is already full :crying:
So I decided to make a new thread since it seems I cannot contact you in other way.
I'd like to tell you that your ROM does not work on Xperia Neo with locked bootloader. I wanted to tell you this because you claim in your thread that, in theory, it should. Well, it doens't. It just gets stacked in the "SONY" logo forever. It's not possible to enter CWM anymore after flashing the ROM zip.
I made the process twice: 'CMW -> factory reset -> wipe partition -> wipe Dalvik -> install ROM zip'. I tried re-installing the official GLOBAL ICS ROM, rooting my phone and repeat the process with no success ('SONY' logo again).
My phone is a Xperia Neo (MT15).
I apologize if someone posted about this already, but the thread is quite long already and I couldn't read it all.
Best regards!

Its already told in Thilina's thread itself by someone buddy, i understand why his pm box is full, but why not reading few pages back in Thilina's thread? Just take your time with that or do you have some hurry and why you dont ask it in his thread?
The rom is for unlocked bootloader because peeps must flash another kernel.
But the next time ask it in his thread instead starting a new one
Thanks

I saw someone having this problem in the firsts posts. I kept reading and they end up discussing about something else.
So, it's not clear that it doesn't work for a locked bootloader. Specially when ThilinaC says that it should work on locked bootloaders.
XDA forums do not permit me to write posts/threads on the devs section (it says I haven't posted enough yet). That's why I cannot reply in the main thread.
I think that must be clarified (corrected) in the thread by ThilinaC himself and I didn't come with a better way of saying it since PM him is not possible.
Also, I do not consider reading a whole 22 pages thread fair to end up re-flashing your phone because the author has not tested the ROM properly, nor anybody reported the issue in a proper way as of today. So, I'm not blaming anybody. Just want to report the "bug" so that it can be corrected and save people's time .

So, maybe you can change the section 'Q&A' and clarify that it does not work with locked bootloaders.

There is a 'FAQ' section in the second post where he states that, in theory, it will work on locked bootloaders.
I don't see it as clear as you do, honestly. Maybe I'm missing sth...
This ROM is functioning with Locked Bootloader, you need do this: CMW > wipe factory reset > wipe cache > wipe dalvik cache > format cache > format data > format system > install ROM. So does not stop at Sony logo :good:

Anyways, I'm happy with my actual system so I'm not even going to try atm.
I must say that ThilinaC states that, at least for the new version (Build 7.00), it ONLY works for unlocked bootloaders.
Subscribe the topic to get informed about ROM. I'm waiting for this. I also wanted it on locked bootloader. I checked thread & damn.... it's just for unlocked bootloaders..... :'(
Edit: Got it working... Check the thread..

if you are talking about pureness rom then you are completely wrong
it supports both locked and unlocked boot loader
I resotred v7 from a Fresh cwm backup , work really good(LOCKED BL HERE).Then i tried to install zip of V8 then i got bootloop (i didn`t do a full wipe ... so i dont know, next time i will do a full wipe too)
on my xperia neo v (lock) at first time, lock sony logo... i m flash again 4.0.3, root and cwn and after in recovey i format system cache data and install again pureness... and load rom successfully. Smooth and faster rom...
I tried your ROM again ThilinaC and it works perfectly with locked bootloader. Just need to follow carefully the steps you've written in the first posts.
Thank you!
Btw, how can I change the title of this thread?
Pureness build 8 works great on my Xperia neo V with locked bootloader... but the only problem is this when I use 3G for 10-15 minutes my phones tem goes to 48-50 degrees, & also battery is drains so fast....
Hi guys!
I've been using build 8 on Neo with a locked bootloader and everything is fine. Well, maybe the battery drains a little faster, but everything else os OK.
Now build 10 is out and I am asking something, maybe you can help. For doing all the process of flashing the ROM, I used the CWM installed by X-Parts app on the store.
Now with Pureness I can't install It. How can I do de wipe/everything process to flash the build 10? It's recommended to redo aaaaaall the wipes of the original post?
1.Factory reset in cwm
2.wipe cache partition
3.wipe dalvik cache
4.Format /system (in mounts and storage)
5.Format /cache
6.Format /Data
Thanks in advance, so I can't post in the developers thread yet.
PD: When I updated the Xperia Neo to the official ICS and later to Xperia Pureness I found Camera360 crashes when closing the menu of the app/the galley of photos of the app. It's normal?
You need to do a full wipe , for no FC's in pureness.

And anyone knows a method to do a full wipe + flash the ROM without the CWM that gives the X-Parts app? Pureness isn't compatible with that method.

I can't flash any rom after flash I9300XXUFME7 (4.2.2)

Hello, there is the problem, I found this rom to flash in recovery, it works ok, but when I tried to change and flash another differents roms is some times I could not.
right now I tried to flash [4.1.2] I9300XXEMG6 and got the same problem, bootloop at samsung logo
before I tried the 4.2.2 version I had not problem changing rom, wipe dalvik as always and it worked fine, but not now
I read about the efs folder change and I think that may it cause the problem, but, XEMG6 have the same efs folder, or 4.2.2 version would not return to work after tried XEMG6, but, the mentioned dont work
how can be the problem?
thanks you

I think that it can be the solution, but Im not sure, before I tried this version I had never this problem, only wipe dalvik and it works fine, which makes me think that there is a posibility that it will not run
I dont like at all the idea of total wipe
there is nothing unusual, no? it should work making a wipe, no?
maybe I should try

your thread should have been pinned in this forum
because many people don't read general section.. they directly come to Q&A section whenever they have a problem . however i guess moderation policy don't allow it

I first asked for it to be put in general > sticky roll-up as I knew this was where it would ultimately end up. Mod 1 put it as a sticky in general first. Mod 2 moved it to top of Q&A and Mod 3 moved it to Sticky roll-up....
Or something like that
I actually campaigned to get general and Q&A merged, and many RC's were with me, although not enough.
you have to do a full wipe. i had the same problem when i tried to go back. i also got stuck on bootloop. after full wipe was my problem solved

thank you for the info schaduw1984
i have right now lot of issues
after wrote here, I left home and I noticed that I dont have network connection, flash again same rom but dont resolved anything, cant make even emergency calls, but if I go to networks and connections and I search for networks there appear, but, not connect, when try to call message appear that is not registered in network. (maybe because the efs folder changed?)
go to titanium backup for make the backups and saw that dont recognise the paid license (bought, and never happened this), restart phone, and finaly uninstall TB and when I tryed to reinstall its not possible, appear message that need space (have 2 gb free yet) tried with other apps and there is not any problem
none of this is allied
I will try search a flasheable TB from recovery and try this way to make backups, for make the full wipe
done, after few tries i got
factory reset worked
thanks to all
