I know I have to flash my backed up EFS folder, but how do I do that ?

Restore you backed up EFS folder failed to backup then you require a service centre repair .

Ok I read it, I have no backup and it said to reflash a stock ROM, where do I find one ?

I can't flash any modems except for xxemg4. This is the only modem that works for me! Why is that? Did I change my imei sonehow? I dont have an efs backup.. I think..

No you didn't Samsung did. Get you're phone to a working state and bkup up you're efs with ktool. It's a must do thing to bkup you're efs folder. And for mg4 modem... you have to stick with that for now. You need to read more :thumbup:

I would like to try different modems. I read Im on EFS V2 so are there any other modems that I can try to resolve my wakeclocks? It drains my battery...

tnx for the reply, just saw the topic, but it's not completley clear to me. how do I know if the problem is a corrupt /efs or did the /efs format changed? Can you please copie the steps i should do to fix this? I only can see that my IMEI number starts with 0049

Hello everyone.
I installed CM 4.4 ROM is unofficial then I did not like it so I put rum OMEGA V51 4.3 Suddenly I saw listed calls only so I tried to fix it at home and I could not so I went to the lab and they buy me a box with recording NSPRO now they stung me Rom 4.1. 2 and now I want to burn an altitude of OMEGA V51 I can without problems or that my IMEI will return to 0049

You can move to a custom Rom, but you will have problems if you don't understand the changes to the efs format.
Start by reading the sticky thread, efs 'know this stuff' in general forum. There is no ready answer and there are hundreds of similar posts, you are required to search before posting new threads.

I had this problem after deleting my efs folder and trying new roms. After a couple of days searching and trying many different way to no avail, I came across this on youtube. Worked a treat for me. I am a noob so please if i have posted wrong or done anything i should not have please except my apologies. I am only trying to help out. I upgraded my I9300 to 4.3 and that's when I got the issue where in my WiFi does not work. I tried the ARIZA patch and it resolves the WiFi but my IMEI shows Unknown which causes my S3 not to recognize my SIM card and now a yellow text overlay comes up on my homescreen about my phone details, another thing is that I don't have a Power menu, S3 goes straight off when I press the power button. So I decided to downgrade to 4.1.2 but then again same problem existed which now includes back the WiFi which is not working. Please help.. :crying:

I downgraded to 4.1.2 then re-root it since I lost root after the downgrade.
