I have this same issue.
I hadn't turned my phone on for about 2 weeks. I turned it on, it booted windows, I restarted and it just hung at the main booting screen. The numbers that show radio version and all of that never come up.
I've hard reset, I've gone into the boot loader without issue, I've soft reset a couple times -- no dice.
Any ideas?
i have same problem
but when i put it in cool place like freezer for 3-4 min it works but when it become hot again hung and restart then vibrates for 7 times again
i don`t know what should i do...

3. problems get worse. At this stage it is possible to notice the 7 short vibrates at boot time if the phone is warm or kept in a warm environment. You don't have to push it very hard, it only needs to be warm. The vibration pattern is an error code made by the actual qualcomm chipset
can any help me i have the same issue HTC HD2 Vibrate 7times. I have HTC HD2 Tmobile
HTC HD2 Vibrate 7times. I have HTC HD2 Tmobile orange Poland locked
hello, do you have your stock rom somewhere?
I have noticed that some people have fairly normal fast start ups with VEGAn Ginger. Some of us don't. Mine takes over 4 minutes to restart.
I'd like to figure out why. With or without external SD makes no difference. So I'm trying to figure out what we (the slow booters) have in common that the fast booters don't.
One item. I noticed when I reflashed the "birds" logo that my BLO partition was #7 and not #6. Is it possible the slow booters have some partition that the system is looking for somewhere else and timing out on?
I can dump my partition table here if anyone things that might have merit. It would be interesting to compare a fast vs slow boot's tables maybe? Any other ideas?
Update: My theory didn't pan out or if it did, not much. I forced a reinstall on all my APKs (for loop in the ADB shell). My boot is now about 4 minutes, which is better than 7. So I guess it did do something. But 4 minutes still seems long.
I don't have incredibly long reboot times like you do, but mine definitely aren't speedy either. I would say it takes about 20% longer than a typical Vegan 5.1 boot. Only once did it boot fast. After that one boot, slow. But four minutes seems pretty egregious.

I got my first G-Tablet from Woot and another from Amazon (also processed by Woot) which I have not opened. Trying to get the first one "right". My Ginger edition takes over 2 minutes to load, but the most annoying part is that the logo keeps flashing a blinding white light every few seconds, and I have to watch it 30+ times during bootup.
My ginger takes 4 minutes to boot too.
Must be a gingerbread thing...my CM7 boot times are almost 4 minutes...
This slow startup is bothering the hell out of me. I'm going back to calkulin later this week when I have the time. I'll try pershoot this time instead of clemsyn.

Hi there,
just notice also that my gtab starts slowing down on startup once I have more apps installed. I saw this new app called 'Startup Manager' and wondering if you or anyone in this forum has tried to see if it helps.
Mine is close to 3 mins now.
Thanks!

Already tried this with startup auditor. Basically, I used it to stop everything from starting except itself and android. Still takes like 4-5 minutes to start up.

Thank you for posting your result. It's just so weird that the more apps you have the slower the boot time is. When I first install Vegan Gingerbread, it booted up very quick...
Let's hope someone find the solution for this. I saw another forum talking about removing 'push to talk app', which I don't think we have it. It seems to work for phone users though.
Thanks again for your feedback.
I've been running the GHarmony ICS ROMs for a while, and have really been loving the 1.5 release. Super excited to try 1.6, but no matter what I do, it won't boot past the birds. (Trust me, I mean NO MATTER WHAT - I've tried everything anyone suggested anywhere that I could find, I asked anyone that would give me any suggestions. Nothing has worked.)
I'm not sure if it's some abnormality in my hardware or the changes in the ROM - I was hoping maybe to get some advice or at least commiseration here...
Is anyone else using this ROM?
If so, is anyone else having this problem?
if so if so, has anyone figured out a workaround or a fix?
I could switch to a different ROM (most others have worked with no problem) but in my experience, this is the best ICS I've used on this tablet...
I'm in the exact same boat.
I had been using flashback for the past few months and loving it. However over the last few weeks, it had gotten to a point where I felt like playing around with what is out there and decided to move to g-harmony.
After running the nvflash file and installing (which work perfectly) the most i can get is a black screen after the birds that just sits there and does nothing.
I just reinstalled flashback with no problem at all on the gtablet.
Really looking forward to using g-harmony but need help.
Can you get any version of GHarmony to work? What process did you follow to nvflash and do your install?
I was able to get earlier versions (pre-1.6) by following the raywaldo instructions first (the "nvflash for dummies" ones, but they were recommended to move to an ICS ROM), and they went on perfectly, no problems.

I have not. However, point me to 1.5 and i'll give it a shot.
I did just give 120 a shot however and got excited because the birds were flashing more than before, but same results, a black screen going nowhere.
Yeah, I'd like to know if your problem is with all of t hem, or just w/ the latest (like mine).
I can't include an external link here, so check your PM - I'll send it there.

Sorry, looks like mine is a different issue. Just puts me in an endless reboot to the birds stage. I tried nvflashing the 250 mb again. I even tried the 300mb on raywaldo and still, the same result.
And even though i didnt want to go to the drh rom, i gave it a shot to see what would happen there. Same result, just a loop through the birds and then the black screen making it look like something is loading but nothing is happening.
Went back and installed flashback again, no problems at all. Booted up perfectly the first time.
So GHarmony 1.5 just gives you the endless reboot to the birds? If so, that's what I get. The birds, then a quick flash, then back to the birds.
The 300MB version didn't help me either. Neither did any of the diagnostic techniques anyone suggested anywhere.
I did get stuck in a loop last night where I went from the birds to a black screen, after I nvflashed something. I was able to get out of it after nvflashing something different. It looked just like APX mode, except it didn't respond to commands.

So i had gotten excited. After getting flashback running, i decided to download all of the g-harmony files again and give it another go. Figured something happened with the download of the files.
Run nvflash again, wipe cache, reboot into tnt, worked great.
Fresh download of 1.6, installed no problems at all.
Power off.
Birds show up for about 2-3 seconds and then just a black screen. Not apx mode since you can tell the screen is still on, but just blackness on the screen.
So similar, but not quite the same as what I'm getting. I don't know what the problem is, It's weirdest that there's no hint of a problem anywhere. All the installs go fine, the tablet will boot before I install the ROM or after I restore it back, and I even checked all my partitions and made sure they're the same size, with no bad blocks (that I could find) or anything else that might gum things up.
I haven't seen anything else in the topic about the ROM itself that suggests others are having issues, so I don't really know what a next step should be.

I have my husband's fassy on ICS aokp ms6 :cwm4 fixed for cm7 : stock EH03:
It is stuck on the aokp logo power up screen, so I can't get into recovery (or I'm too dim to figure it out this late). This is the second time this has happened, last time was a few months back. Firs it starts to get that message in the notifications menu that the sd card is running low on memory (which it is not), then he starts having trouble with apps functioning properly, then everything starts force closing, he powers down to restart, then the logo screen won't go away. I think last time I freshly downloaded and re-flashed everything, but why is this happening again and what can I do to prevent it?
I was having similar problems with mine before I replaced it with an s3, but he has to wait another month.
While I'm at it, I think I'm going to go ahead and put JB on it this time, last time JB1 had just come out and he wasn't ready to be a tester. It just sucks that he probably wasn't backing everything up regularly and now he's going to have to start all over again. *sigh*
Have you pulled the battery,, and then tried to reboot?
I don't know too much about ics ms6 build , but the jb builds are not giving up memory errors now...
They are great,,, much better than ics
Sent from my swagger
yea, i pulled the battery, same thing. I think I'm just going to start over fresh and put in JB4. I suppose mostly I was wondering if this was a common problem, or if we are just special like that.
Yeah probably,,, ,,,i remember my ics doing that low memory, hanging up, random reboots, etc ... It's what ultimately led me to mistakenly try to 3 finger into recovery,,, but it was the best thing because jb is soooo much better everywhere

Hey, guys, I know there are a lot of these issues with a lot, if not all, of the HTC smartphones, but I've only seen a few of these for the HTC Radar, and they all seem to give the same answers. Hopefully my explanation of the problem will help!
So, I got the phone thanksgiving weekend 2011, so I've had it for about a year. One day around the beginning of April this year, my phone randomly began a restarting loop, where it would gradually restart itself from a blank white screen over and over, then it went to the HTC screen over and over, and then periodically switched between the HTC screen and the black "Windows Phone" load screen over and over again. I tried taking off the battery cover and leaving it for a couple of minutes and then hours, but I put it back and it just kept rebooting. I was left without a phone for about two days.
On the second day, I put it on the charger and left it in my dorm while I was in class all day, and when I came back, it was rebooting still, but I noticed that it always made it to the "Windows Phone" logo loading screen and then restarted. After about 4 reboots, it went back to normal and I was able to use the phone. After the next couple of months, it stopped doing it in such a long period of time, but the battery usage went up almost 30-40% than what it used to be. Once in a while, it would reboot once, but then it would be back to normal.
This time, in late October, it started the reboot thing again, but this time, only going up to the HTC screen and looping that. I tried taking the battery cover off again and leaving it for hours, but same problem now. So I decided to leave it off for a day. By this time, I had my HTC Desire HD as backup, but it was unlocked, and at the time when I bought it, I didn't know anything about HSDPA numbers, so I could use my T-Mobile SIM, but no mobile network, since it's a Telus/AT&T phone.
I tried charging it, but this time, it lasted for a whole week. After rebooting over and over, it would last 3 hours, then stop because the battery would die out. So I just left it, and left it, and weeks went by, and my warranty had long since expired, so I couldn't go to HTC about this. I even called them to see what I could do, and they told me to do a Factory Reset, well... here is a list of the things I tried:
- IMAGE CRC: At first I didn't know what this was, and so I looked it up. After finding out what it was, I tried it, and I got two numbers: BL CRC-0xD19F79E1 and OS CRC-0x4CC706B. I looked those up on the internet and got nothing. I restarted the phone, and nothing happened at all. (If there was something else I was supposed to do here, please tell me!)
- Factory Reset: This was the LAST thing I wanted to do, but I had no choice and I tried it, hoping the error would be fixed. So I scrolled down to it, everything seemed to be normal, it gave me a warning, and I clicked it ... I was very suspicious of this, because as soon as I clicked "Factory Reset", it said "Reset complete. Press Volume Down to restart". I mean IMMEDIATELY after. Now, I KNOW that Factory Resets take much longer than an instant to actually have happened. But I restarted anyway. ... Nothing, still. I tried it several times after that, only to get the same result.
Those are the two options I tried, besides looking on the internet... if I can avoid buying a new Radar, I would like to, at all costs, because the next time I have a decent amount of money, I would like to save it for something else. Is there anything else I could try to resolve this issue, or at least gain more information on the problem?
Thank you all very much for reading my post!

May be it is a Hardware problem. Why you don't try to put HSPL and to cook custom rom ? I do this on mine few days ago and now the phone is more useful than before. I cooked HD2O ROM and till now working fine for me. When you change bootloader with HSPL may be it will work out if it is a Software problem. Also you need to change Radio Firmware other wise the device can not boot. When I am doing HSPL a few times phone just loop restarts and not start but after I do everything like it was in treads here and flash new radio the phone is working fine now. But may be there is a Hardware problem.

Thank you very much for responding! So just to be clear, how exactly do I go about flashing a ROM on the Radar, and a new radio? On Android phones, its much easier to root the device or simply place the ROM folder in there and make it work. I have no experience with doing this to a Radar, as I was previously led to believe that this was impossible. Should I just browse this forum?

Yes just browse this forum but only section about Windows Phone 7 Development and Hacking. You will find DFT exclamation of how to install HSPL. In mine it was very easy because I not receive Country ID fail my phone was buy in Europe. If you receive Country ID error you need to proceed with goldcard it is explained there but first proceed without goldcard if it work it is very easy. Also when you proceed SPL2.05 it is not clear in the topic but you need to be in bootloader so you should start your phone with VolUp and VolDn keys pushed this is not explained in the topic and I waist a lot of time till figured out. After that just download one of the 7.8 ROMs here in Radar section and write it down. Also download new radio and use some RUU to put it on the phone before the ROM other wise the phone can not boot. Try and after that if you have problems write down here.
MY RADAR TURNED BACK ON! I don't know exactly what happened, but after a couple of reboots, the battery indicator flashed and then it rebooted twice until finally turning on the full amount.
Tonyco1 -- Thank you very much for staying with me and replying to my request! Although what you suggested is not needed for my booting issue, I'm going to try it anyway to see if I can actually boot 7.8! Thank you again.
