Hi, i have LG L9 P760 with stock jelly bean v20c orange romania, and i have the option to move apps to sd card, i move for example, the sims free play, real racing 3, and after i move them il shows me that i have the apps on sd, but i can`t find them on sd card, and my internal memory does not modify, like i never did move them, and neither on sd. Why is not working that options to move them?

Hi all,
I just brought the LG Optimus One P500 this afternoon and thanks for great info in XD. I managed to rooted the device so smotthly
Question:
after rooting, now how can install/move my applications to my SD card instead of the internal memory.
Previosuly on Samsumg spica there is a tool call App2SD, any similiar tools for LG Optimus One P500
Thanks
Do you want to install directly to the sd card or just to move them after being installed on the internal memory?
You can move apps around using Settings->Applications since FroYo can do that for you but not all apps can be moved just yet. Other apps can move them forcefully (I use Titanium Backup to do that).
If you want to install to the sd card directly, look for an app called apps2sd. I found it on the market a few months ago and it opened like the Settings menu. It will just ask you where you want apps to go to when you install them. It was really simple. Widgets wont work from the sd card though. Move them to the internal memory and reboot after if you have them on the sd card already.
and make sure you have a fast card if you want to install directly to the sd card.
I bought GS3 yesterday with ICS and i cant move apps to SD, there are a workaround or something to make that possible?

Are you referring to external sd card?
I don't have an S3 but have read it does what my phone does, that is it uses some built in storage space and labels it as an sd card which means your actual removeable sd card is usable for everything but not apps.
It is annoying but only answer is to use your removeable card for music, pics and video and keep built in space for apps only.
I have read that you can use play store app to extract an installed apk to external sd and possibly use a file manager to install from there to external (removeable) sd card but have not tried this myself so may be worth trying.

I want to move my apps to the 32 gb sd card in my lg optimus l7 to preserve the tiny 2gb of internal memory (really lg, what were you thinking...).
I tried downloading the app2sd program but it gave me the error "The device does not have a real primary external storage, or the primary external storage is emulated"
There is no move to sdcard option in the apps menu.
Also tried changing default install location using this tutorial:
bongizmo[DOT]com/blog/moving-all-android-apps-to-sdcard-apps2sd-froyo/
(replace [DOT] with a .)
It didn't work (i installed a new app and it went to internal sd/memory), so I reversed it back to normal.
Is there any workaround? I need more space for apps!
Please help!
BTW, any way to root firmware v10e yet?
Sorry for the ultra n00b factor...
PS. Mods, if this should be in Q&A please move it there
I just recently rooted my L9 (finally been wanting to do it since I got it) and the main reason I did this was so that I could move system apps to the SD card to I could download large games. Is there a way to directly download from Play Store to SD card or do I have to go through the SD card? Also what apps would be good for this? I'm currently using this file manager https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rhmsoft.fm. Can I do it with this app or is there another I have to get?
Try using Link2SD, I remember that there is an option to install apps on sd automatically, and you can delete, move or freeze apps
After flashing official lollipop I tried out the newly introduced Move to SD feature with Oddworld Stranger. And even though it says the 1,12GB is on the SD card, actualy no files were moved, all game is still on the internal memory. I tried it then with other apps too, and it is the same for all, none of them are moved to my SD card, although it shows that in App information. Does anybody has the same experience?
