Choose any stock based JB ROM which claims to have DSP Manager (Check out the ROM's thread to find that). Then download the ROM. Using 7zip or WInRAR, simply extract the apk file. :good:
You might also want to check this mod out. :good:

You can install DSP Manager for AOSP, modified by a Polish named Mikegapinski.
First, head to this LINK
Find "DSP for recovery" and download the file and you will have DSP.zip.
Extract apk from folder /system/app/ and you will have your DSPManager.apk
Install as usual and don't forget say thanks to Mikegapinski.
It really works dude ..
Let me know if it works for you too ...

Hi,
I'm posting this question here in the hopes that someone will be kind enough to help me since I don't have the post count to post in the development section.
I installed the omega ROM and really like it but I need the Email.apk that is not included in this ROM. When I copy the Email.apk from other 2.3.6 stock based ROMs the app constantly FCs. Does anybody have an Email.apk and/or Email.odex that will work with this ROM.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers!!
Should i suggest a thing?
First backup your system.then go flash any rom which has that that email.apk.
Then open titanihm backup and backup the email app. Then go to cwm recovery and restore omega rom and then restore the app again via titanium backup. This shud work
. If it doesnt work then tell me. I will upload the email apk.

Thanks for your response. I tried your suggestion but it still FCs as soon as the phone powers up.
I think it's because the omega rom is odexed and all the 2.3.6 based roms that I have are deodexed.
When I look at the /system/app directory all system apps have an .apk and a corresponding .odex file of each application.
If you have a 2.3.6 odex version of Email.apk I would really appreciate it if you could upload it.
Thanks for your help!!
Here you go
This should work just flash via CMW5

Did you extract the files on your computer first and then add them to system/app?
Did you reboot your phone after putting the files there?

If it is the original ROM, I am almost sure it will never work.
That is because the APK needs stuff from the samsug framework, wich you probably haven't.
You can extract an independent APK (in terms of it doesn't need the framwork) from your selected ROM with any filemanager.

Just download other ROM JB 4.1.2 and extract the calculator "apk". You can install it as any app you already installed.

Maybe not.
It could happend that u aren't allowed or can't do this with a "normal" install.
So then just copy the .apk to "system/app" and replace the other one.
Then do a reboot to make let system all load right again and u r done.

Greetings,
This is my first thread and post here at this community.
I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII with the beta firmware I9300XXELK4_I9300OJKELK5_ILO. I've read at this forum about an APK that can be used to add more programs to the native MutiWindow View that this FW has. At the same topic it is written that you have to use some odexe or deodexe.
Actually i dont know what is odexe or deodexe and i dont know how to install it on my device.
Can someone please help me and guide about how to install it properly.
Thank you very much!

If you did flash the original leak it will be most likely odexed (as mine is), deodext are usually all the custom roms (stock and others) as it is easier for modifications. You can also Google and will find a lot of explanations.

download the odex file from the MW threat and flash it in CWM. Do NOT extract the files (e.g. meta-inf etc.)
