Is there any way to overclock stock 2.3.5? If there is how do I do it im new to droid ive used other phones but this is my first time with a rooted droid. Thanks guys

Unfortunately, the X2 is locked bootloader. The dev community found a way to port ROMs, but without a way to edit the kernel, there will never be a way to overclock.

Yep, ran all that too. Makes me wonder if the x2 would benefit from ext4 conversion as well....Ahhh, memories!

Eclipse 3.0 is amazing! How hard would it be to port that over to the Razr? Just modify the build.prop and recovery directory. I would love to help the community especially the same people who give to me all the time. I know ICS is just around the corner. Hopefully.

Good luck to you in your new endeavors. We greatly appreciate all you have done for us. Unfortunately I have a year left, so I will have to wait for the next one after this one you will develop for.
Thanks for bringing life to my photon.

Ifs out possible to put a custom kernel on a stock ROM? I'm on ics 4.0.4 stock and just wanted a little better battery life.

AW: Custom kernel for stock ROM??
You can't flash an Kernel with an unlockable Bootloader. Maybeeeee that's the reason why there's no really Kerneldevelopement goin on
Sent from my XT910
Thanks..i was kinda wondering about that. Wasnt sure if you could or not.

But we can erase cid and bypass it. With this method we can flash kernel?
Or I thinking it wrong?

Erasing the CID only allows you to flash original Moto signed Kernels (or complete Firmwares) that doesn't match with your Region (EU > CN)
This has nothing to do with the ability to flash an custom kernel.
