Just wanted to share this app I've been using. Takes a bit of getting use to but once you do it's brilliant. May not be to everyone's taste though.

Once it's available on Spanish i would get it.
Awesome once you get used to it. Its the future KB for sure. Saves sooo much time and wasted KB presses.

Wow....looks..umm..interesting. Not sure how exactly to use this KB. Quite different from all the KBs i'm used to. Gonna install it and give it a go
Thanks for sharing!
A demo/trial app would be nice. It's only $4, sure, but I'd like to know before I buy something that it's useful to me.

You have to write the whole word out before moving on to the next one. I will stick with swiftkey

Yeah its very beta hard to use

It's easy once you get used to it. Amazingly accurate even when you type hardly any of the right keys.
I bet you that I can type faster on swiftkey than you type on minuum

I believe this is not the goal of the keyboard. The screen size you save using this keyboard is fantastic! I know I can write faster with Swiftkey or with Swype Dragon but that doesn't matter.
For our devices the screen is not a issue, but not everybody has a huge screen like us.
Why are they selling minuum more than Swiftkey or even Swype as a matter of fact. I was planning to also buy Minuum but not sure now.

Has anyone had any issues with Swiftkey not remembering words?
I have been using it since Saturday and none of the words or word orders that I am using seem to be remembered. I have a strange email address that was always remembered on my EVO but not on the Galaxy. I love Swiftkey but if it won't learn, it's useless. Could I be doing something wrong?
Maybe a wrong version?
Thanks!
Have you gone into the settings to have it learn your texting and messaging habits. Ive found occasionally you have to go in and manually have it scan your data to learn your habits.

What rom are you using? If it's CM10 you'll likely need the latest update for JB compatibility.

Try smart keyboard. I think its way better and actually autocorrects while you type instead of making you go back and fix your errors

Do a fresh install after copying your SwiftKey folder to another location. Just paste it back later if you want. That should fix any issues.
Hello to all,
Besides the Android Keyboard, the Optimus G came with an LG keyboard that was very similar to swype. After changing back and forward from the LG keyboard and the stock android keyboard, I decided to give a try in my new Optimus G to the Swype Beta that is free and doesn't have a time limit or any advertising/spamming adware.
Long story short, I find the Swype Keyboard the best and most accurate for me in the Optimus G.
Try it, and let me know if you consider another keyboard better for the Optimus G.

Hope it helps.

I love Swiftkey too, if only they would add the saved/pinned text feature. I would be all over it.
Swype beta FTW ... I've tried to stop using it several times (because of their PITA install/update process) but I always come back.
Edit: the now testing the new SwiftKey Flow.

And if so would you have to have the nexus conversion done.

....that's your personal opinion. I think that Ubuntu for phones will essentially be more powerful than android and will bring a variety of new possibilities to the table along with a cool new interface. The only negative thing I could think of is not being able to use android apps.
Wait lol was that sarcasm?
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda premium
New interface may be fun to tinker with I guess. The phone ecosystem is all about the apps, though.
All I see is a potentially more bloated os, much worse power management, less apps, etc. But I may be completely wrong.
Regardless it will be interesting to see if this and mozilla's phone os end up being worth a crap.

Getting "Error install aborted". Finding a fix now. Release 1 might get delayed.
Pushing Release 1 til finished. Getting errors on flash.
Turns out that it's Ubuntu that's causing issues with compression. I am going to complie on my sisters laptop later. So check tonight for the file.
Heres the dealo. First release is going to combine apps from play store. Second release is changing boot animation and Ringtones. Third is change font and default system sounds. Forth is going to be bug fixes and change it to a stable. Fifth is going to add a change of first boot looks to make my rom special and different then a Modded AOKP. Sixth I add a custom status bar to make us special. Seventh bug fixes and stable it. Eighth is settings menu is going to be changed to Windows 8 phone. Ninth is bug squashing. And that's the planned minium by ideas.
Update! Gonna combine all first 3 releases into 1. That way less flashing. Follow my Google + account: [email protected] for updates on the project. First release in 7 days (9.27). Loving the support!

Your opinion. I posted this around 2 hours ago so people want it as you can see. Lots of responces in a short time
340 views in 9 hours! Impressive. Seems like people like Windows 8 phone. So because of the interest, if anyone will like to donate to expand support to multiple devices. I'll set up PayPal later. Next device to buy is Nexus 5. I'll preorder the device when it's announced and complile on there as well. I want this rom to be as popular as CM! Ambitious but will happen with your support.

It's going to start as a themed AOKP rom and turn into an epic rom with original status bar to settings menu. You have to start somewhere. It's my first rom as well. So first few releases are themed AOKP then turns into a great and original rom. I want this to turn into a perfect and original rom like CM. Starting small.

I'm poor man lol. The thing is I need a windows phone to match the ROM 100 percent accurately. Goal is 85 for a low end unlocked phone. I'm setting up a kick Starter later tonight. First release of the rom is set for 9.27. It's early but I'm committed to providing a rom made for accuracy. 85 is needed to make it original because I am coding parts of the ROM and I want a windows phone for a base start. Kickstarter link come in later.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
This is the dealo for real. The ROM can go as far as pre made things put together. Without a windows phone for a base, I can't code my stuff. I'm going to get a windows phone soon so until then first release is just pre-made stuff. Kickstarter is to hard to put my rom on it (they want to much info). So I need to buy the phone when I get into some money. Sorry but thats the only way. If anyone have a windows phone laying round they mind giving, then perfect. But Yup. The project is still going. But can only go so far. Love ya XDA!
