Other Info
All in all, this ROM is Cyanogenmod 10.1 with a few graphic changes. It also includes various extra features that have been cherry picked from multiple sources. In addition this ROM is compiled without the use of cchache and only full clean builds are released. This means that it will take longer for me to compile, however it will result in a reduced chance of bugs and maybe even an increase in performance.

How do I disable Navigation Bar?
Settings > Chromium ROM settings > Expanded desktop > Status bar visible. Hold power button for a few seconds until power menu comes up and then choose Expanded desktop
When I choose "0dp (off)" for the button height, the Navigation Bar is still there!?
Sorry, I made a mistake in an array which is causing this problem. When you choose this option it is actually setting the navbar to 24dp. If you want to completely turn it off, read above. I will fix this in the next build.
I don't like the preistalled font! How do I get the stock font back?

Recommended Settings for Optimal Battery Life and Performance:
First go to Settings > About phone > Tap on Build number 7 times. That should enable the Performance menu. Then go into it and choose these:
Processor:
CPU Governor - Performance
Min CPU Freq. - 460MHz
Max CPU Freq - 1113MHz
I/O scheduler:
I/O scheduler - CFQ
Memory management:
zRam - 26%
Allow purging of assets - Enabled
KSM - Enabled
Also install Nova launcher, as Trebuchet (the stock launcher) seems to be a bit laggy.
Here are some screenshots of the battery life im getting after a day of heavy usage:
Almost 4 hours of screen on time...Keep in mind that i still have another 20% battery left in the screenshots.
As of now, it's a little laggy, but my friend knows a thing or two about optimizing the ROM to make it faster.
Build ten is much faster so give it a go
It`s working fine !
Thanks Mr packer.

camera works all 100% on 4.0.4
4.0.4 is ICS aka Ice Cream Sandwich not JellyBean
Does tethering work on this? Usb and wifi?
Not bothered about Bluetooth tethering really...

I have been looking for an ICS rom with a fully working camera (i.e. smooth and stable photo & video recording) since the first ICS rom for Nexus One was born. Could you please introduce me some 4.0.4 roms with these features? It would be a great pleasure if you do.
Does this rom have data(mobile internet) bug, i.e. mobile data gets disconnected at times, and have to reboot multiple times to get it working?
Its there in most JB roms i tried, dunno too much abt ICS??
- hardik
I've been running the rom a few days and the only problem I notice (besides the video camera not working, though pictures work fine and not the devs fault as I understand) is that the interface has visual smearing of the graphic elements fairly frequently. I don't mind it much but I thought you (the dev and potential installers) should know. Am I just doing something wrong? Something I can change?
The interface itself screams and makes my Nexus One feel like it came out yesterday!
Thanks,
Apollo
First, I have successfully installed this ROM with following step (as instructed on page #1) :
1. Partition : system 240, cache 10 (the cache size was not instructed on #1 so I decide to use 10)
2. Download build 10 (checked md5sum and matched) and gapps (successfully extracted, to test it as non broken package)
3. Full wipe ==> format all except sdcard.
4. Flash rom
5. Flash gapps zip
6. wipe cache and dalvik cache
7. Reboot.
8. Apply a2sd, and reboot.
But I didn't get setup wizard screen after step 7.
And also I didn't get gmaill, playstore, and other google apps.
Second, I followed page #2 to increase performance.
After activating performance menu, all setting are works, except I am unable to change I/O Scheduler to CFQ, no matter values I choose, its still use DEADLINE.
Are there any step I missed ?
Please advice.
My microphone stop working after install this ROM.....
Amazing, Thanks!!!!
Another new life for my 3.5 year old N1!!

There's a terrible deadlock issue on all JSS15J ROMs where the screen freezes for some seconds and then it goes back to normal. PA team had to rebase their work after a few tries and now uses a JWR66V base with JSS15J fixes and improvements. It's still a mystery so far, no one has figured out the root of the problem.

What is OmniROM?
A new Android custom rom has been announced at the BABBQ (Big Android BBQ) by @XpLoDWilD, @Chainfire, @Dees_Troy & Team. For more information go to omni rom's site: http://omnirom.org/
This is Unofficial build compiled by me! I'll try to do daily releases until Omni team releases stable official builds! Also I have began compiling the ROM's with the latest Linaro 4.7 toolchain and -O3 flags with Bulletproof kernel. Thanks to @scrosler, @jakdillard, @DJLamontagneIII for all of the information and tips on building ROMs and @flar2 for letting me use his kernel, and finally thanks to @2jzmoe for testing out the initial builds.

No problem. You do a great job.
You need to open bools.xml in the text editor of your choice. You're looking for the line that says
<bool name="config_voice_capable">false</bool>
There is a change in bool.xml - included in framework-res.apk needed. All you need to do is change false to true, so you should end up with
<bool name="config_voice_capable">true</bool>
After that you can install some less apk to have native SMS on deb again.

Looks good and no errors or force closes but I'm getting pretty bad battery life. Currently at 40% used in only 15 hours with less than an hour screen time and using wifi. Bbs screener attached. This is after setting up everything and first full charge.
As a reference, using stock 4.4 Rom previously would last at least 3 days with the same usage.

Thanks for the feedback! not too sure what to do to make better i think maybe its the sweep 2 wake functions causing that as well I noticed live wallpapers chewed up the battery as well. I'll take a look and see what I can find no guarantees though
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Forgot about s2w etc as I use a case with the magnet. Assume bulletproof has no config so I could install the full elementalx and disable that stuff to see if it helps.
I disabled the live wallpapers at the start and never use them anyway. So won't be that in my case.
Also don't have any partial or kernel wakelocks over about 3 mins so the thing is sleeping fine. Must be Wi-Fi on 100% but don't recall if stock Rom did the same thing?

using trickster you can disable s2w functions or a text editor will disable it. the only thing bulletproof does offer is adjustable clocks speeds. Finally from what i recall Wi-Fi is on 100% in stock roms
I'll try that next. Currently charging it up to test what happens if WiFi is set to turn off when sleeping. Because of lte, have to do airplane mode first then turn WiFi back on otherwise during sleep, WiFi shuts off and 4G kicks in which probably uses more battery.

Looks quite good. SMS features are available. Thx. :good:
Only one hint: BasicSmsReceiver.apk is not needed if CellBroadcastReceiver.apk is also added for the SMS feature.
dre, my idea didn't yield any better battery life. I then tried disabling s2w and still no difference.
Going to install stock rom to get some better baseline figures and try again as I like the rom.

Sorry to hear that its not working out...if you think its kernel related I could build one with stock kernel instead but to be honest I don't know how much of a difference it would make as bulletproof kernel is basically stock with s2w and d2tw functions :/
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Nah I wouldn't bother as I agree that the bulletproof kernel shouldn't cause any adverse effect. I've installed the stock 4.4.2 ROM and wil let it run a day or so to get a proper baseline with some BetterBatteryStat dumps then try yours again and compare. See if I can find where the extra drain is attributed to.
dre1187 have compared to stock and cannot find any appreciable difference in wakelocks (kernel or partial) or even CPU states for the same period of time and usage (actually under stock usage was higher even) except to say that this ROM has 3x the battery consumption. Very strange. Good luck with future builds, I'll give it another shot in the future.

Now with a version with CM11 CAF Kernel from CM Sources and a version with AOSP Kernel from AOSP Sources. Both with Fully working ART.
If you are installing it for the first time or changing from AOSP kernel (Stock) version to CM11 Kernel version, wipe System, Cache, Data and Dalvik. If you are comming from CM 11 Release 1.x, just Flash this! Don't wipe ANYTHING!
Informations
Install MY GAPPS for better experience. It's already include ALL Google Apps and Fully Working Google Dialer!
This Rom is for people who have asked me to make a Stock Rom with practical modifications of CM. This sounds like a Stock Rom and runs stable like a Stock version. Dalvik and ART are working. With it you will have the same experience of the Stock Rom but with the good things of CM. The AOSP Kernel version comes with Stock Kernel from AOSP Sources and if you need to use Custom Kernel, don't flash CM Kernel on this. Use KVT AOSP Kernels. This is ready for use like a Stock Rom on one flashable file! The CM11 CAF Kernel version comes with CM11 Kernel. If you need to use a custom kernel on this, use CM11 CAF Custom kernels.
All Versions are already ROOTED! DON'T FLASH SUPERSU OR OTHER ROOT METHOD!
If you are installing for the first time, please install FULL RELEASE before installing Delta updates!

How to Install
Thanks to Jared Bush for this Tutorial!
Make sure you have the latest CWM or TWRP recovery
Copy the Rom and GAPPS zip files to Internal Storage
Backup your files and data (if you like, backup Data, System and Boot with Recovery)
f you are updating it from my CM11 Release 1.0, just flash it, don't wipe ANYTHING. If this is your first time on it or you changing between Release with another Kernel Version and want a clean install to get no erros (but it's not needed), Wipe Dalvik Cache, System, Data, Cache (and if you are on TWRP, after this, go to Mount and uncheck System to get no errors)
Flash the Rom and GAPPS that you want to use
Restart and Setup this
If someone have any issues, please report here so I try to fix as soon as possible!

YAwesome. I'll be checking the progress now and then Thanks
Update : Tried your ROM and im having trouble with Titanium Backup and that super user binary is old.
Flashed Supersu from playstore and it work flawlessly. Why dont any dev Include the supersu instead of superuser ?
Update NR 2 : Just had SOD when charging.
The fastest ROM i havet used sinxe i got my Nexus 5 no doubt about it. There is only one thing missing and its like mahdi has on his rom. When downloading something you vän see download speed right beside the percentage.
Hey Andersonargo
Jumpin over from the n4 to n5 and tried this build and there is a couple of things:
1. When i put my phone in sleep mode and then brought it back to the lock screen it worked fine for the 1 time then i did that same thing and well it rebooted my n5
2. After one reboot i kept getting "google services has stopped" message over and over again.
So far a Good rom and i love the status bar custom carrier logo its the one of the best features of your roms! but with a few fixes here and there you can get this baby going strong!
hi >>>
plz can you add " scrolling modifiers" like on BeanStalk Rom
Awesome rom but had to revert back to stock because of SOD.

It actually installed and booted very fast for me. Will run it thru the hoops. I disabled many gapps I don't use, but this has a very complete set of gapps installed. Nice work dude.

I go to advanced and wipe cache, dalvik, system, and data 3 times, I then factory reset 3 times. I do this every time I install any ROM and never have issues unless ROM has issues. I only DL Facebook, ESPN fantasy football, and endomondo from app store. I never restore any data or use any restore program.

AWESOME Hope I would get great battery life with low sound bug fixed on this ROM [emoji1]
BTW, there is no Rev1, Rev2. But some devices like mine can't wipe in TWRP. Only need to wipe through stock recovery, otherwise it causes bootloop. So how can I flash it? @tejus

Bugs Report
Great Work Tejus.
Bug #1 - In Play store, many apps (esp. WhatsApp) shows error "Your Device isn't compatible with this version" as in attached screenshots, So can't be installed through play store, even in the oldest android 4.x, these apps were able to install via play store.
Bug #2 - Auto Screen-Brightness bar not working., It worked after I disabled "Adaptive Brightness" in "Setting->Display & Lights".
Bug #3 - Physical home button doesn't wake up screen.
Request #1 - Double Tap to sleep on status bar can be enabled, working perfectly, if Double Tap to wake-up feature is added, will be great and appreciable.
Request #2 - Make changes in system, so bigger open-gApps ( like stock or Full ) can be installed via Recovery. I was only able to installed only pico and mini version of GApps.
These all problems were also in the earlier CM 13 Rom for this device.
Waiting eagerly for resolution of play store.

Yes it worked First boot took very longer than other ROMS but it's okay, it finally booted.
Issues I'm having are:
Can't give root access to only CM File Manager.
Animations are not smooth and fast. Even changing animations scale do not help
what about the battrey life anyone tested.
Agree with bug#1

CM file manager just doesn't ask for root at all
I increased min freq and it's okay for now but it still needs to be improved
Also I saw deep sleep option in Arubadel. What is it and does it affect phone functionality?

For night or long standby when u dont use ur phone then u can enable that option it will turn off 3 cores and will run on 1 core @ 245mhz so will conserves battery and when u wake up ur device u need to manually turn on the cores and In setting /general from there u enabled root user?(in cm file manager) or just check root access setting in developer options
