After I rooted my lg p769, it rebooted, with pinkish shade to the screen, especially over the color white. Does anyone have an idea as to how to fix this?

You always have many choices when you have problems like this. First reboot your phone and if that does not work then simply hard reset your phone. If that does not work then you need to do a cwm flash. If that doesn't work or you don't have cwm (shame on you if you don't) then you need to do a offline flash method. When you get this fixed you need to make sure you get a cwm backup so that when you have trouble like this then you can always revert back to your original "safe" ROM. Good Luck!

Does anyone know how to use the front key lights as notification led's on our L9 since we don't have one? I found out how to use the camera flash as one but that's the back of the phone and i don't like facing the phone screen face down on anything in fear of scratching the screen.
If there is not a method already around somewhere to do this, how hard would it be to get this working? I think it would be a great asset to our L9s!
R: [Q] Notification LED
Use LG Notifications from Playstore. It's free but requires root.

Please try the NOLED app. Probably a better option. Tried on my HTC Glacier. Works.

Works for me.
How does it behave for you? On my L9 nothing changed at all once installed and enabled :/ What settings did you choose? Do they flash after the screen turns off for awhile after the notification, and stay flashing until they are read??

I just chose the default settings, and it flashes the front key lights till the message is read. Maybe cause I'm using P760 V10h on my P765.
The app is a battery drainer since it wakes the cpu up each time the buttons light up.
Im hoping they can program this feature into future roms for the L9 where it just causes the LED's to blink until the screen is turned back up when a notification is received. Not sure if its possible to program the blinking to run without waking the cpu?
That was another concern of mine, but if it was integrated into the rom in such a way to not wake the cpu then battery life would not be affected as much.
So this isn't really a big deal but when my screen turns off it turns off like a tv where as when it turns on it just pops up like normal. Is this just how it is with ROMs or is there a way to change it back. I noticed this was happening too with my LG Esteem.

Depending on the ROM you should be able to disable CRT animation in display settings or general rom settings.

Odd. I wouldn't be surprised if someone has created a mod to remove the CRT animation. Check the mod threads and see. You can always try requesting the mod, or even ask in the rom thread for a toggle.
I recently installed UNOFFICIAL 4.3 ROM for Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. Had some issues. The phone wasnt charging but it seems like its charging now. And why are all the leds on ? the blue, red and green LEDs are on and have no idea why
Are we supposed to guess which rom you are using...?
If we know what rom, what recovery, any additional mods or themes, and what the last official version of the software were you using then we could start trying to point you in the right direction.
Also I'm not quite clear on what you mean by all the LEDs are on? I thought there was just one notification LED light on it? Or is it flashing various colors?

Cyanogenmod 10.2..and there is the blue LED that is for notification, green for messages and red while charging.
Sounds like mystery solved then or...?

So as the subject reads, has anyone been able to get the shutdownanimation to work on the Verizon LG G3? I've installed the intl boot and shutdown animations and was able to get the boot to work without a hitch but the shutdown just won't work. Did the same thing on my wife's AT&T LG G3 and didn't have any issues. If anyone can help i welcome any feedback. Thanks.

It should work if you aren't using a custom power screen.
If you are using a custom shutdown, reboot, screenshot, etc. screen with the power button via Xposed, it will not work.

Care to elaborate? I'm not sure I understand? I don't believe there ever was a stock shut down animation on the Verizon LG G3 so there was never one to begin with. I'm not sure you understand what I'm asking. I installed a custom boot animation and a custom shut down animation front the Intl variant of the G3. Boot animation work but shutdown animation doesn't which I want to get to work. I did this on my wife's G3 and I worked just fine using the same steps I did on my G3 only difference is she has at&t and I have Verizon. What could be wrong?

I'm using G3TWB on my Verizon G3 and I'm using the option to have more items in my Power/Shut Down Menu, like Torch, and Shut Down Animation doesn't work for new either. I believe that's what he was referring to. An Xposed Module that interferes with the actual Power/Shutdown Menu.
That's how I took it. Didn't know that before either but I can see how that makes sense.
- Tapatalked from the G3
G3 tweak box
Hmm let me try to disable the advance power menu and see if that works
Edit: Nope, doesn't work. I disabled apm and then G3 Tweaks and nothing. I don't think it has anything to do with Xposed cause i have Xposed installed on my wife's AT&T G3 and it works fine both boot and shutdown animations so it has to be something to do with the Verizon variant. Any ideas?

Yup totally normal behaviour. Your only hope is substratum compatibility which is not possible yet.
