You know, it's funny....I remember when people began brainstorming for the new name of the next Android versions. Seemed to me like someone mentioned Key Lime Pie, and EVERYONE jumped on the bandwagon. I was wondering when it became official.
And youdug....hilarious signature! Lol! I suffer the same fate.

So I'm looking at the new android statue video and I find this. Strange device it obviously says Nexus sorry for bad quality just found it and screenshotted it.
You can see the Nexus 4 right next to it and that device next to it looks nothing like any nexus we've seen. The camera is integrated into the device so nothing is bulging out.

If you look, there's a couple articles related to that specific frame. People believe it's the unreleased Nexus. I wish Sprint had Nexus on their device list :/

It might be next week. I was complaining about poorer than normal reception during peak hours to Sprint and was told they were working on the towers. The work is expected to be finished the second half of June. I'm assuming the work on the towers are related to the LTE work. I could be wrong...

I'm looking forward to it coming here to Baltimore (where I work). I'm thinking I'll be getting my LTEvo about the time that it's up (at least working to some degree). I can't wait! I get WiMax currently in my building, but it's a bit sketchy inside so I rarely use it. Hopefully LTE is much better! With WiFi at home and LTE coming to the town I work in, I think I'll do very well with Sprints network.

Data speed after radio update - Share results here

I just updated to 1.05.11.0606 and ran a before-and-after comparison to see what difference it made. For reference, I have a generally poor signal here (at home) and didn't expect much of an improvement, if any. In an attempt to rule out network load variables, I ran five tests using the Speedtest app before and after the update, all within about 20 minutes. Here are the results:

Although it appears that both up- and down-load speeds have increased, I'm a little hesitant to conclude it is because of the radio. There is a huge variance in results in both sets of data and not being a statistician, I'm not sure how to interpret them. Also of note, my ping actually went UP, which seems unusual considering the speeds improvements. Anyway, if anyone else want to share their results, it might be nice to have them all in one thread.

Your download results are not statistically significant at the 95% confidence level (nor even the 90% confidence level). This means that it's not unlikely enough that you'd get those results by random fluctuation in the observations.
Your upload results are, however, statistically significant. There's a probability of 0.0078 (0.78% chance) that you'd get those results by random chance.
So ultimately, we can conclude that the new radios at least don't hurt download speeds, and are likely to improve upload speeds.
^^^statistics ftw

I'm not normally one to complain but...

Sprints service is insanely horrible, Voice and data. I'm on vacation a few states away and yesterday I couldn't make a single phone call without getting a busy call sound and I'm only getting .01 download and .010 upload. My brother has the One X on At&t and his phone service puts me to shame. I understand he has a data cap but what's the use of having unlimited data when you have no data to begin with? I'm extremely tempted to call Sprint and complain and possible switch carriers. I don't understand why Sprint sucks and is lacking so bad. Just extremely aggravated and venting. Where I'm at on vacation doesn't even have WiMax and he has at&t 4g with no loss in coverage. WTF SPRINT!
SENT FROM MY EVO 4G LTE!!! (w/no LTE)
Sprint is currently in the middle of a huge back haul upgrade, this will allow the new LTE to provide the superfast 4g, unfortunately the upgrade is causing pain in some areas but will have to live with a little pain before reaping the benefits of the new network. Good news is that the upgrades are rolling out faster then originally scheduled and bad service areas are getting less and less.
Sent from my htc_jewel using xda app-developers app
As the post above said. This is a bad time for sprint. When 4G is country wide everything will be smooth. This won't be tomorrow or next week. I am very aggravated too. But hey with such a cheap bill how can you really explain. So here what you can do.

Where were you exactly? Sprint might be upgrading the towers in the area to LTE. I had this happen to me in LA, and the fix was a free AIRAVE Sprint sent me when I complained loudly and often enough. However, I have no complaints other than that, as I have excellent throughput everywhere I go. It might be due to the fact you were not in a metro area that has enough tower coverage.
With that being said, I was in a local mall yesterday, and browsed the ATT kiosk. They had the One X and G3 there. So, I show him my LTEVO, and he tells me very quietly not to get the One X, as the LTEVO is the One X on steroids.
I think that says it all.

I feel your pain...I went to Cleveland,OH for a lil vaca and I had worst service than I do in Atlanta & that's bad.I coulsnt stream music from Google music or surf the web and call quality was horrid. I think its the 1.22 firmware update because I have a new phone with no ota update and my 4g LTE is holding ...it usually cycles back to 3g and 3g isn't that bad like it usually is.

Not to mention other devices show to be superior.

I first noticed it at 7:45am and picked it up almost continuously on La Brea from Florence all the way through Baldwin Hills ending a little north of the 10. Best speed test was 28500/11196 on HTC One TMO.
I just got some LTE action here in Philly...

I hope so. Although I normally get about 13 down. LTE would be nice, seeing as that's what I'm paying for.

I have the $30 prepaid plan and I was able to pull LTE no problem. Hope it comes to the IE soon.

Was driving down the freeway and noticed I picked up LTE in Monterey Park. Still using my iPhone at the moment and the download speeds were SO MUCH better than regular HSPA+ I normally only pull in 4mb down. View attachment 1988369
