I tried android 4.3 (cm 10.2) about a month ago and it was terribly laggy and unstable, now I'm seeing all these new 4.3 Roms and I'm wondering which one runs the smoothest

SmoothXTwilight Edition VIII.23 Build 67 runs without a hiccup for me.
Can I please have a link?

I'm on carbon currently. I tried PA but it was sort of laggy. I've been wanting to try out Cyanfox, because you can always trust .torrented to give you the best ROM support, and it seems awesome regardless of the dev.

Currently I am running between bullydesensed and Jellyblurr was wondering what everyone feels is the best, most stable and best battery life aosp rom our there.
I'm really digging sfk right now. They are all about the same though as they have the same base.

I'm running ThunderShed 1.6 (which JELLYBLUR is based off of), and I love it.
I'm using sfks sense 4.0 ROM but I like thundershed 1.6 or vicious miui 4 best for AOSP ROMs.

Hello all!
I know This is probably the most broad question asked, but I am curious. Ive been through a few old builds of JB (CM10 and varients of Kang) but they never quite were stable for a daily driver build. So im curious, as of right now, what do you think the most stable JB Roms are out there. And when I mean stable, I mean daily driver status. I would like to try each one individually and give it my own review but I have neither the time nor the patience to trudge through them all. So just an overall consensus would be fantastic! Im running Blackstar VII now and I honestly LOVE it, but equalizers do not play nice with that particular Rom and unfortunatly thats a bit of a deal breaker for me. Thank you for the help!!
Liquid jellybean is pretty awesome.

I agree. It's awesome.

SlimBean has been the most stable for me so far although it still has random reboots.
The latest CM10 nightly was not bad, fastest yet but still had occasional reboot. Testing cookies n cream now, bout an hour in and so far flawless.

ParanoidAndroid (PA) is awesome. Along with JB, PA's options to adjust DPI is a nice feature for a big-screen phone like Note.
Also, JamieD81, the dev for this rom, is officially recognized by PA Team and XDA, and has been diligent with updates.
But almost all CM10 roms will have the same type of bugs (if any), because of the CM10, not the rom itself. And many of these bugs are being addressed and the roms are being updated accordingly as well. You can try different ones I guess, but I have not found a reason to even try something else.

So it sounds like Liquid Jellybean and Paranoid Android has been the most stable. Test both ROMs out and decide witch fits you better. Have fun!

The RC3 and RC4 builds of Liquid JB have been rock solid. No screen flicker, no lost APN settings and the only soft reboots I've gotten are directly related to VLC beta. Great feature set and frequent updates.
I Moonshined my DNA back on 10 June, but haven't had any time to blow it away and try out a custom ROM.
What seems to be the most popular DNA ROM here? I value most highly stability & performance, with zero bloatware.
Thanks!

Viper Rom is good. I personally like the Sense 5 Roms that are out (I'm currently using Digital Dream). I would just try a few and see which you like best.
Carbon

Sense ROM's: Viper(sense4+) or NOS(sense5)
AOSP based ROM's: Root-Box or Illusion.
I'm using NOS (Sense 5). Very stable, fast, great battery life. No fancy bells and whistles but works really well.
Carbon for sure

For Sense: try Viper or a sense 5 ROM.
For AOSP/CM: Rootbox, Carbon, or Slimbean will be your best bet.

Viper for 4+ or bamf for sense 5.
And if you stay on sense I like crpalmers kernel

I use apps that have issues with JB roms, plus I just like Sense better then other homes. Where can I find a recently updated ICS rom preferably with sense 4.0 or higher. I tried business sense but had issues with it, I waned to try Newtz_XXXone 6.0.2 but apparently the download link has been removed from all sources. Does anybody have suggestions?
Thanks
Have you tried the newest Beanstalk ROM (jb 4.2.2)? Its been super reliable so far (except for some flickering in google maps).
I've tried a few Sense Roms, but they don't seem to be getting any further updates. Viral Ota was the last I tried. Great speed and battery life, sense 3.6. Nils was great and was my first ROM after getting s_off, but the JB Roms are just too fun.

Have you tried hawknest's eclipticrez ? Your going to have to search for it though. Latest one is v9

I would recommend erez v9 as well.

I used a few sense roms and my favorite was neffabilis Deus v1.2 which is sense 3.6 though
But you know what, I use a jellybean 4.2.2 right now and I agree that some apps may have issues and there are slowdowns here and there but after I got bored of sense ROMs I moved to cm9
This one to be exact http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1943767
And that cm9 rom and possibly other that I didn't try had no slowdowns band responded quick and acted exactly like a sense ROM but its CyanogenMod so it was better overall. So maybe before jumping into another sense ROM try a cm9 ROM, I found them to be a lot better

Thanks for the suggestions I will give them a try

You ever figure out which was better?
I personally like Slim 2.2beta 2013119, the 4.3 version.
I had SlimKat, CM11 and LiquidKat from Liquidsmooth Team and for some reason I have gotten worse signal with the 4.4 ROMs.
And that's what caused me to reverrt back to a 4.3 ROM.
There was one good working 4.4 ROM Nexus Expereince 1.1 stable build that everything to seemed to work good.
I'll keep trying the new releases sa they come out for a really good 4.4 though.
I like slim best as well so far although the screen artifacts are a deal breaker for me. Back on cm10 for now until 4.4 becomes more stable.... I seem to have storage issues with both slimkat and cm11
